A country with so many cultures, haba, it just can’t work. |
and nairalanders will be arguing that Nigeria delta doesn’t feed the nation, but listen to el-rufai:- “El-Rufai, a panelist who joined virtually, said that if the regime of fuel subsidy was not eliminated, 35 out of the 36 states of the federation may not be able to pay salaries in 2022.” It’s just sad that the so called leaders of that zone are extremely corrupt, else those places should have been the first el dorado of Naija. |
backbencher:Valid points, but remember, most problems have solutions. Also getting water should be dirt cheap. Even in Dallas, my water bill at the time was like 15 dollars a month. So I don’t really believe cost is a huge impediment to getting piped water out to the masses, plus if you can’t afford the service, you simply would be cut off, so there is practically no excuse. |
For too long, this country has been ruled by demonic entities in human forms, encouraged by the naive, ignorant masses, sometimes due to tribal leanings. They know what to do to bring joy to the masses but they never do these things. Simple problems with simple solutions are left to decay and decay and then decay some more. For example, a dead body could be on the street but the police or fire services would first allow the body to spend days at the same spot. Why can’t the body be moved immediately? Would accomplishing such a task require billions? Another simple problem - a danfo bus runs a traffic light in the full view of a squad of police officers, but instead of the police officers to chase after the bus, they rather randomly stop a nice car that HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG, to start asking for papers. So once again, a simple problem is left to go unattended. What happens when you allow all these simple problems pile up without solving them, well you have Nigeria!! It’s like when you were given a simple homework in school, but procrastinated and started rushing it in the last minute. Most times during the rush to get the work done, you require that it was actually quite simple, if only you had “More Time”, which obviously you did. I wonder sometimes if I’m one of the only few people that wants a great Black Country. Really am I the only one? Am I the only one that wants a Harvard grad as governor and president? Someone that will give account of every naira spent down to the kobo? I guess the only option for some of us would be to leave this country for greener pastures, but it’s just sad that every election, when Nigerians should think deep and remember all they have suffered, they instead fall again and again and again into the same evil grips of corrupt politicians that they know will fail them. I am no prophet of doom, but I can tel you with a 100% certainty that a Tinubu or Atiku will fail. Come 2027, Nigeria will be much worse under any of these guys. But Nigerians will still troop out en mass to vote for these same known corrupt politicians. You know deep down that it will be a wasted 4 years for the country, but you don’t care, you will say, let’s waste it, gosh! Whites used to refer to blacks as half a man, not fully developed, a race stuck in the evolutionary process, but how do we blacks respond? I tell you how, we can’t even get water to houses in 2021. So can you really pump your chest and say boldly that Nigerians aren’t less than human? Can you really say that? |
People might shrug my post off, but there is no hiding the truth. Ask yourself a simple question - how do I get my water? Do I have to buy water? Did I dig a bore hole? Ask yourself this question and be honest with yourself. Then ask yourself why your country or state hasn’t provided water for you since the date of your birth. Then ask yourself if this is the legacy of a country you will like to leave to your children, nieces, nephews or even the unrelated young ones. |
Isn’t it funny that a people that don’t even have ordinary water running into their homes, are always hailing the most vile and corrupt politicians? I just wonder, is it that some Nigerians have lost all hope in seeing a good country that at least can give them WATER? Maybe good roads with covered drainages? How can it be that a country like Afghanistan would have better roads than most places in Nigeria? Are we at war in every state? I don’t understand the zeal with which a Nigerian that probably hasn’t eaten well, has no water, no light... will come out and be campaigning for evil politicians who neither know nor care about their existence. Let me ask you guys a question. Can you be the generation that makes Nigeria proud? Can you be the generation that provides pipeborne water to your black brothers? That provides them with electricity and good roads? Or are you just waiting to queue behind another demon like a Tinubu or Atiku, because you have lost hope? |
Hashabiah:I agree, but let the parents/guardians be the ones to dole out this punishment, not the teachers. If a kid gets suspended, I’m sure the parent will discipline the child for getting suspended. |
davit:Lol Now I understand why people here say they don’t chase bonuses. Their bonuses are getting harder and harder to get, almost like advancing in a game closer to the “boss” stage. |
Hashabiah:I’m not against discipline bro, but there like someone said up there, you can suspend the erring child. You don’t have to flog and flog to excess. |
Felicity0001:Exactly, there is no reason why my compressor should be wired to my blower. I did some digging around and found the electrical drawings for my car. After some testing, I found out that my trinary pressure switch is bad, hence the computer doesn’t allow the compressor to receive 12volts or a pulsed voltage. Measuring the voltage at the ac compressor wires, I see only 2.5 volts. So at least I know I need a new pressure switch, so that any compressor I get will be powered on by the ac switch. I thought the reason auto compressors fail is cause most people either don’t flush the system before install or they let the gas leak out completely. I heard those compressors need oil running through them at all times. Anyways, this week is the week of repairs by Gods grace. I have already been saving little 2-3k per day for car repairs and I am pulling the trigger this week. |
deedee44:Good looking out bro, thanks a lot! I think I will start with the mounts as you said, i am already planning to go to Elizade this week as I have saved enough. My hustle hours have really changed. I now work 6:30-9:30a.m and 5pm-9pm. Sunday like this with free road and my car is already incapacitated at 10:30a.m, chai! My uncle also advised me to get any compressor from lawanson or Ladipo and manage for now. God is our strength! |
Hashabiah:You Nigerians make nothing, not even the phone you are commenting with, but when it comes to flogging, you will flog and flog children. Is that how they flog their children in America and China? Yet they produce all we use, all the technology and you guys can’t even give your people electricity, but yeah, let’s talk about discipline, mtchew |
Most of the commenters here don’t have water running to their homes. They either buy water or dig to find water. Yet the will come out and start saying others will wail. Bruh! The suffering and smiling phenomenon in Nigeria really needs to be studied. |
FIFApresident1:Why won’t there be traffic when you don’t have law and order. Abi have you in your life ever seen police car pull people over before? Like they put sirens on and start chasing? So if you don’t have any law, why won’t there be chaos? I’ve never seen a lawless country like this before, true. Do you doubt that we are lawless? Go to middle of third mainland bridge and take a poo, and no one will disturb you, not even police. Ask yourself, why is it that you can’t do that abroad, but you can do it in Nigeria? |
Amotolongbo:Logically, that should tell you how backwards we are. As in, very very backwards. No, you don’t understand, WE ARE BACKWARDS in naija. You don’t gerrit abeg |
dru23:Damn! That is a lot of money. Anyways, I have no choice than to continue saving while I manage what I have. All I know is that by Gods grace, I won’t install a “manual” compressor in there again. |
dru23:When you say oem, do you mean like just denso? Or do you mean a manufacturer that makes the exact same product? The one I found on Ali express, would you consider it oem?
|
dru23:60k is not bad ooo, even though they must be used compressors. Dunno if I’ll be ready by then cause my new plan is to save to buy a new one. But please give me a quote in case you do find a new/used good one. The part number is :- 88310-05140 Avensis |
BAZ001:This is hilarious |
I saw this one on Ali express though, not bad at all but the shipping is $120. Has anyone here has used aliexpress before?
|
Omo see compressor prices, God have mercy.
|
Pearl1910:Really strong bro, cause God knows it has been abused, yet the engine still purrs. |
chillex8:It’s a 2010 Toyota Avensis that I am trying to save. |
mejai:Oh my days! Missile launcher button for the ac, chai! Thank you for the thread bro. Omo, I was going to meet my Kazeem this morning for another “manual” compressor but I think I will wait honestly. If only the follow come compressor was affordable and easy to come by in Naija here. |
PassingShot:This is how these agents always deceive people. Now I’m sure you are happy, meanwhile where is the teadermoni and why has Osinbajo stopped going to the market after the elections? I don’t know why Nigerians always fall for all this crap over and over and over and over... and over again, na wa |
I’m tired of my car men, vibrations everywhere, Kazeem’s that have bastardized systems, a bad manual ac compressor that is wired directly to my blower motor. I don’t even know where to start. Being a lazy driver is not even helping, but even on days I say I’m gonna push the limits in terms of driving hours, my car would be like “hold up bro, what do you think you are trying to do”. For instance I can’t drive between 1pm and 4pm cause my manual compressor is doing “low pumping” according to Kazeems. So unless I consistency raise the rpms, I don’t get cool air through the vents. So imagine being stuck in lekki epe traffic at 3pm ![]() I was just about to go pay 45k for another manual compressor that would again be wired to the blower motor, rendering my ac button completely and utterly useless, but something is telling me to save up for a follow come compressor new or old, that will be wired to my cars AC amplifier assembly as it should. Then there is the vibration, oh my goodness. I’m not sure which engine/transmission mount is bad, but men the vibration rattles the whole dash, center console and steering column. As soon as I switch to reverse or drive, it will start doing “gidigbi, gidigbi, gidigbi”. Sometimes while driving I’d have to switch to neutral and then raise the rpm to 1000 to smooth it out before my riders take all the vibration in and start to orgasm. Which do I fix first, mount or ac? Do I get new parts or used ones with no guarantee? Will all these repairs completely skin out my already anorexic wallet? I’m so confused ![]() |
chillex8:Hmmm, I just wanted to know if cheb was fake. |
Felicity0001:Bro if that’s you then you are a true hustla |
IFEBARBIE:Are you a woman driver? Or are you a guy with a woman name? I’m curious |
radautoworks:Can I get a quote for ac compressor for Avensis 2010 |
okefranci:If indeed you really cared about a bright future for the country, you wouldn’t support these politicians. Is Nigeria of today the bright future we expected when Buhari, the former coup plotter was elected? Why are we not thinking in this part of the world, damn it! Damn it men |
Someone needs to study why the average Nigerian loves to suffer by voting for bad politicians. Don’t these Nigerians use the same roads? Buy foodstuffs? Do they have water and steady light? How can it be that after passing through all the hardships in Nigeria, you will now run and vote some hardcore criminals because of tribe or whatever reasons. What is really up with black people especially Nigerians? So you want to die not seeing a great country or what that you keep voting useless people? Or you want your kids to suffer? I don’t understand how Nigerians reason |
