BigSarah:I really don’t know why Nigerians love to suffer like this, it’s tragic seeing them eager to sell themselves to terrible politicians. See how they madly followed Buhari, a former coup plotter, saying if the former dictator didn’t have a school certificate it didn’t matter. Why would it matter to them when they were ready to suffer. Now Osinbajo that is the current VP of a bad administration should automatically become president? As though the presidency is some kingship title that is being passed down. I’m tired men, after driving through tough roads everywhere today, I’m just tired abeg. Zombies everywhere you turn |
chillex8:Wait why is that ac gas so pricey? Is cheb gas not good? I would really like to know as I am buying a compressor tomorrow
|
Felicity0001:Bro is this your real dashboard? |
I just lost 5k to shoprite, after losing their token, I dunno, I’m feeling kinda depressed, plus the whole living in Naija thing is tiring. I have never made up to 20k a day driving, guess I’m lazy, but men I need to make it tomorrow. Pray for me guys! This rain didn’t help me at all today, the flood was much here and you can’t even see potholes or gutters. |
Being a Nigerian is so tiring. See roads looking worse than roads in Afghanistan See open gutters everywhere Black man sha, is it that they banned you guys from having good roads? Someone said there is ghetto in other countries, but compare the ghetto roads in NewYork to roads in almighty banana island. Shame on you all that support whatever government it is that would leave roads undone. Even if it’s to use local boys with interlocking stones, you can still build stretches of roads across a state. God forbid bad thing. Evil dark hearted leaders and followers abound everywhere in this Nigeria. |
asanausana91:You haven’t answered my question though. Is it logical to elect someone that was once a coup plotter? Someone that thwarted a democracy? What possible logical justification could you tender for committing to such an act? Of all the 200 million Nigerians, you lot figured the best man for the job would be a former coup plotter? That is like raw stupidity. Even if many Nigerians aren’t educated, we still have those doing wonders in the engineering, medicine... did you hear of Nigerians making drones in the U.S? You have professors, economists, business majors, app makers, brilliant sociologists... Yet, and yet, you lot went back in time to even before some of you were conceived to bring back a gun toting coup plotter. I am having a hard time understanding this. It just doesn’t compute in my head. |
FarahAideed:It’s crazy! Education for all and family planning should be the watchwords in government all over Nigeria |
Ofiadiegwu:People don’t have to get run over if they are coordinated. For instance, they could radio in to another squad ahead to block the road so that the offenders have no where to go. They could also deploy road spikes and motorbikes to maneuver in and out of traffic. Why must we wait till a future time before we can have police pull people over? Why? Why?? If I were president, that is like the first thing I’d do, I’d pay for so many ads on radio, tv, internet, and all sensitizing road users on what to do when getting pulled over by police as this will be relatively new for Nigerians. Again, why must we wait in 2021, to have ordinary police pull people over, when other countries are going to space? |
Why should they keep only 13% and pay the rest to federal government? When they pay you salary, do they take 87% away from your paycheck as tax? Nigeria is just a weird country |
Someone that wiped away democracy You Nigerians went and brought him back What is the IQ of Nigerians sef Think about if you are a coup plotter today, won’t you be jailed? But you guys still went and brought a coup plotter to become your leader. I have never seen a people like Nigerians, chai |
Ofiadiegwu:Bro your country is completely lawless. Even in the small things like traffic control, there is total lawlessness allowed not to talk of bigger things. Have you driven in Lagos? Do you see how driving laws are broken and yet have you ever seen a police squad pull people over like abroad? I’m not talking about police stopping someone at checkpoint, I’m talking about sirens on in a squad car chase a pull over. None! This country needs real leaders, not the demons we have everywhere posing as leaders. |
Nothingserious:Lol, so in a sense, you are actually advocating for a further slide in our currency? Cause why stop at N580, using your analysis up there? Why don’t we crank the dollar up to about N2,000. So for 266USD, you’d have N532,000 abi? Don’t gorget though, that you produce almost nothing, so that phone you used to buy for 30k, is now 120k, out of your N532,000. Now what about minimum wages and currency value? A minimum wage here is N30,000. Thirty whole thousand a month? I should be so rich, but I forgot that the currency was in naira, sigh. Meanwhile, a cleaner might make 6 dollars/hour abroad, talk less of people with specialized skills. Soon, cleaners from abroad will come back to buy all of you, lol, because maybe when dollar becomes N2k, they will just bring like 1k dollars back home which will be like 2 million naira, then you guys will be prostrating on the floor shouting “Oga Sir”. |
I keep hearing talks of IGR, no one ever focuses on what this money is used for. Do you even have water from the government that flows to your house or apartment complex? Or are you a denizen of Lagos 2021, today, either using a borehole water supply or having to buy water in trucks? Be honest with yourselves. Where does the money go? It’s like how the lekki epe expressway used to be tolled, yet the roads would have dead streetlights stretching many kilometers, and the lane markings had all worn out, even till today, the lane markings remain worn or totally non existent. We then had to ask, where was all the toll money going? I mean it’s one thing to generate money, it’s another thing to spend it wisely. Things like lane markings could have been done with just one days income from the toll booths or at the max, a weeks income would have afforded for the re-painting of the lanes. If you are a resident of Lagos, take a drive across the third mainland bridge, paying close attention to the lane markings, you’ll notice that they are all intact, and clearly visible, thereby guiding road users into observing lane discipline somewhat without any law enforcement stimulus. Now juxtapose that with a drive across the lekki epe expressway, which until recently, was extremely well funded by road users in the form of tolls ranging from about 200-300 naira PER PASS. You’d notice that as at today, close to 90% if not more of the lane markings are non existent. I think we should focus twice as hard on expenditure as we do on income, so we can get value. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/450615-world-water-day-lagos-water-crisis-worsening-group-says.html

omowolewa:As in... Just cause they can’t do it doesn’t mean we don’t have Harvard grads, technocrats and others who can. What do you expect from these people that set the bar sooooo low for themselves, including awon Tinubu/Atiku people. Of course with all the useless leaders you Nigerians elect, it will take forever to get anything done. Corruption at the airport, we are still talking about it till today Electricity nko, how many years? What about ordinary water, abi are you using borehole? |
I feel your pain bro! It’s so sad how we can’t solve some of these simple issues. Something like this can be solved with cctvs and a good manager, but nothing ever gets done. Sometimes I feel so sad and want to be the one in charge |
Men thank you guys for confirming. I thought it was a local issue |
My Indriver is down Please can anyone confirm if theirs is down as well. |
Their supporters never discuss what a candidate will do in different sectors of the country, like security, healthcare and so on. Rather, they write long articles about tribe, including zoning of presidency, if APC zones to this then PDP will zone to that, it is the turn of this tribe, or that tribe... Yet we somehow expect zoning and tribe discussions to put a Nigerian on the moon, how? I guess deep down, most Nigerians don’t really care one bit if their society is developed or whether or not they have good roads and good jobs. It is impossible to care about such things and still discuss politics without ever discussing development. Tell me, what other society on the face of this earth will elect a former dictator as president? Excluding societies over run by terrorism. That’s like saying a society today will elect Adolf Hitler as president, it just can’t happen, but it can happen in Nigeria, because all they ever talk about is tribe. Even in governorship election races, they rarely ever talk about development, but rather begin to form tribal clusters of opposition, based on the perceived tribal association of a party and the leanings of so called enemy tribes, i.e, APC belongs to this tribe and PDP belong to that tribe, so even if a governor does nothing, we are happy because he is associated with a party of our tribe. Sai Nigerians! In 2021, how many states can boast of government pipebourne water to each house? Ordinary water. Yet somehow, you Nigerians see nothing wrong with that. |
But as at now, you guys in government are sucking the life out of that positive spirit. If not, how can you leave roads in such conditions and not even level them with gravel? Not to talk of the other anomalies of the society. So stop telling us the obvious and maybe get to work? Maybe?

Felicity0001:It shows you at least missed a confirmation. Could it be that you missed it without knowing? |
Pearl1910:Well, I did eventually get the bonus though. It seems that at the end of the day, they updated my score to qualify for the bonus. Since online time was the ONLY requirement left at the time(30 min before campaign expiration), and I just had about 12 more online minutes to complete according to the app to qualify for the bonus, I was super sure to stay online since that was gonna be the simplest part of completing the campaign. That’s why I was so confident that something was amiss. It was about 4:30 then and I checked and was happy to see I only had 12 mins to complete. No trip came in within that time frame, so the campaign ran out and my stats were stuck at the initial screenshot I posted.
|
Gentlelife50:As in, well it was 3:30 hours out of 4 hours sha, so 30 minutes for any mishaps which was cutting it close. But the funny thing is I made sure I was online the whole time, but it seems Bolt only counts online when you are on a trip |
Meanwhile, bolt did me strong thing denying me my bonus. Apparently they said I wasn’t online enough, even though I was online for the whole 4 hours
|
northbird:Men I’m making it up today |
mightyhaze:You’re gaddam right! |
mightyhaze:I remember seeing 216 on that apc campaign poster
|
greggng:Hmm PHD holder Dollar - 216 Nepa Bill holder Dollar - 560 |
1metre:But Nigerians can be funny sha It’s like arguing against the fact that 1+1=2. A Nigerian would be like, “wait, but” ![]() Look at the way this guy said Buhari was once a president, as though he was elected and didn’t in fact partake in a coup. Then you Nigerians now brought in a COUP PLOTTER and somehow, someway, thought it would work? Chai, my head hurts men |
omokoladele:Of course it doesn’t, but it should be a prerequisite. See the way you just dismissed learned people as if they have nothing to offer, while those who haven’t learnt anything have the most to offer according to you |
skyfaze:Really? The change is here? So you were really expecting change from a coup plotter? Next you will be expecting change from a bullion van thief. The good guys are in the background screaming “pick me, “pick me”, “I’m an engineer”, “I’m a political scientist “, “I’m a medical doctor”... sadly, Nigerian voters never pick these guys capable of actual change. Sad! |
Brahms:Tissue paper certificate for the win. Black man is just something else |
pweetixandy:At least when he was there, dollar was 216, and I’m not even a fan. So are you more tired, now that dollar has increased by more than 100% to 560? |
