When I told people on here to be weary of all these Chinese loans, they called me names, sigh. There is nothing worse than taking loan for infrastructure that is not profitable. Look at Lagos and it’s huge world bank loan for railway that Fashola said will be ready by 2013. 7 years later, no rail, loan spent, no money generated from the rail. At least in China’s case they build the infrastructure, but you still need to make it profitable and does Nigerian government know how to make things profitable? Won’t it be same CCECC trains that people will be riding on top of, thereby riding for free? How do you make money of a person hanging on top a train? Yet police will see and pass. mrphysics:Why do you believe that lithium batteries can’t be mass produced? There are even other battery chemistries better than lithium, like salt water batteries, that are recyclable. You can’t just dismiss the growth of technology when you have thousands of researchers working round the clock to come up with new things. Even in your own life, I’m sure you’ve seen tech improvements in your phones, the way you consume music and so on. Truth is, even with the rains, Africa still has the perfect weather for Solar power and if other countries with lower sun hours in Europe can generate upwards of 10,000mw of electricity through solar, then who are we to say it’s not feasible with our weather? |

Isn’t that how Buhari was sharing picture when he first started and they were hailing his “body language”. Do you know what the picture is about? Do you know what he is reading? Do you know his thoughts on what he is reading? That’s how it was so easy to deceive most Nigerians with MMM, they were even coming online to defend MMM with their blood. My point is, it should take more than a picture to move you guys. Has this guy done more for Nigeria than Sowore for instance? Sowore that has fought for Nigeria, gone to jail for Nigerians... mrphysics:When you say need a lot of batteries, hope you’re not referring to regular lead acid batteries? Technology is improving and the likes of Tesla now have utility scale batteries that have already been deployed. Below is a pic of a 100MW Tesla utility battery. Combined with solar, that can power soo many homes. Imagine if every state had one to start, that’s already 3,600MW of clean energy.

Sometimes I feel like it’s only insane people that are left in this Nigeria, cause I don’t understand how a people can suffer this much and still vote for more suffering. See dem already calling the likes of Tinubu and other expired corrupt elements for 2023, my goodness. If your plan is to further impoverish Nigeria with your vote, then may almighty God scatter your plans. This country deserves to be ruled by the righteous for a change and I pray to God it happens and not just at the presidency level, but at every level of governance. |

Prime example is the Aso rock clinic that keeps on receiving billions of naira every year. Could it be that someone, somewhere, or a group of people, just pocket all that money? What about feeding budgets for Aso Rock and kitchen Utensils also running into billions, does that just go right into someones pocket? The thought of someone just pocketing billions without doing anywork whatsoever, just sends chills down my spine. Lets not forget about Legislators, Governors and their budget items. We had the likes of Sowore, Moghalu and others with passion as presidential candidates during the last election, but the masses themselves rejected them, not just the political heavy-weight cliques that the article refers to. I watched countless interviews of "ordinary" Nigerians on the streets espouse the same old candidates that had lead them into the mess they are in and I wondered why? You'd here them say the likes of "Let's give Buhari another chance", "Let us try Atiku", "Buhari has done well", "Atiku was VP before so he knows how to..." I was just speechless, sad and almost moved to tears, wondering why none of these "ordinary" Nigerians wouldn't mention Sowore, Moghalu, or anyone new and responsible. It just didn't make any sense to me. It just seems like the masses are under a spell, a jutsu of sorts! Come 2023, you may here them canvass for the likes of Tinubu, Ibori, Ganduje... sigh, the never ending cycle of suffering and smiling. 5 Likes |

Always suffering and smiling, always. Everything is a joke to them. Electing touts and useless leaders despite knowing that those leader have nothing to offer. They will leave the best candidate, the most educated, the most accomplished... for a useless person from their tribe so that they can continue suffering and smiling. When will this country ever get better with useless citizens, propping up useless leaders? Now they have their eyes set on 2023, everyday, 2023.
