We had the likes of Sowore, Moghalu and others with passion as presidential candidates during the last election, but the masses themselves rejected them, not just the political heavy-weight cliques that the article refers to. I watched countless interviews of "ordinary" Nigerians on the streets espouse the same old candidates that had lead them into the mess they are in and I wondered why? You'd here them say the likes of "Let's give Buhari another chance", "Let us try Atiku", "Buhari has done well", "Atiku was VP before so he knows how to..." I was just speechless, sad and almost moved to tears, wondering why none of these "ordinary" Nigerians wouldn't mention Sowore, Moghalu, or anyone new and responsible. It just didn't make any sense to me. It just seems like the masses are under a spell, a jutsu of sorts! Come 2023, you may here them canvass for the likes of Tinubu, Ibori, Ganduje... sigh, the never ending cycle of suffering and smiling. |
Everyone on here supporting the palms slippers move would shun their own logic if they are called for an interview in a multinational company. You will see these same people in full suit and tie, not ONE will wear slippers. |
XANDERBOY85:lol, it don't make no sense brah! |
I just read that thread of a woman receiving 20k for the first time in her life and the location is Jigawa. Jigawa ![]() Isn't it Buhari that just said Lagos, Ogun and Abuja should be locked down for another 2 weeks? So how did Jigawa factor into this? |
So you let robbers rob freely for days, then you eventually send some so called squad and people are hailing you. Who is to blame, the leaders or the electorate |
Covidodo:This kind of brazen stupeedeety of yours, I don't even understand. What has your voting pattern lead you to? It has lead to Nigeria being the poverty capital of the world and you have the guts to accuse those wanting fresh blood and fresh parties of doing drugs? Very dull human you are |
Always suffering and smiling, always. Everything is a joke to them. Electing touts and useless leaders despite knowing that those leader have nothing to offer. They will leave the best candidate, the most educated, the most accomplished... for a useless person from their tribe so that they can continue suffering and smiling. When will this country ever get better with useless citizens, propping up useless leaders? Now they have their eyes set on 2023, everyday, 2023. Not like they want to bring in the best leader oo, but they are waiting to bring in another useless fellow to continue suffering and smiling. It like a country filled with apes, country of the apes.. I don't even know anymore, I need to hustle and leave this place filled with hatred for self and love for tormentors |
@Seun I could also categorize the countries you listed into developed and under developed countries, in which case, overall testing numbers would have to be put into consideration. |
SultanOfPuna:Why does science have to be apart from God? I don’t get when people keep saying this. Abi shey you know more science than the God who suspended the earth in the dark void of space? The God who causes the same earth to revolve around it’s axis? Abeg, God made man in his own image, that means just as he created, we too shall create. |
Mods need to move this to front page, what’s taking them soo long? Also, anybody here remember the thread were we can post such violations by soldiers? Can’t find the thread and the contacts. Please forward untill these animals are court marshaled. Let’s not wait untill they are posted close to our homes ooo for whatever duty |
I just had to come back to laugh at this Chai |
freeze001:Lol ![]() |
freeze001:I didn’t even know he had made such an offer. You’re right, they could have at least tried, even if they had to introduce a monetary penalty in the contact if he couldn’t deliver. |
Seriously this is unbelievable but you can buy 2020 Camry for law makers? All those senators need to me marched out from that chamber, by like 1 million Nigerians. They can’t kill us all |
Why do I find this funny |
I just re-read the tweet It says DEVICE AND SHIPPING COST FREE! and I was defending this when I thought they wanted to buy but had no supplier. I can’t believe this |
sweettease:What exactly is your point? That it’s okay to kill those you are trying to save? |
I came accross this pic below yesterday and I was shocked to my bones, speechless! What sort of fvkery is this? What civilized country can allow this to happen? That you’ll pack bundles of it’s currency and pack on a table to distribute like some Cartel of drug dealers. Why can’t you make transfers to the beneficiaries by using the Central bank or a bank account designated for relief transfers? Or is the case as a brilliant nairalander brought up yesterday, that they won’t use BVN cause it can be traced? So they rather give out raw cash that can’t be traced. This is utterly disgusting! No one should come here and give me the excuse that poor people don’t have bank accounts. You can take a thumbprint of the beneficiary, a passport picture and create a makeshift bank account for him/her complete with BVN in 5 mins and then make a transfer. Tragic!!!!!!!

Men naija soldiers and violation of human rights are like 5&6. Then later they will be complaining of USA not giving them weapons. Who will give weapons to these barbarians. There is an ongoing pandemic and you punish offenders my asking them to enter gutter that people poo and urinate in ![]() Oh my darling God, please give us courage to revolt against these demonic oppressors. |
Nbote:Even without the pandemic, China has been busy giving out loans to naija. Don’t forget they’ve already seized assests in some African nations that couldn’t afford a payback. That rail road in naija built by China, that airport, that road, bros... there are so many projects in this naija that the Chinese are funding through loans |
franchasng:harsh, but true words, sigh |
sLentlover7778:This whole world lock down seems a bit fishy to me |
when last did a police officer pull you over while driving your car in Nigeria, then use your license to check your driving record? oh, I forgot, they probably have no records, or don't use them. okay, when last did you use your social security number to... sorry, wrong country. hmmm, okay, so I lost my sim card and went to the phone company for a replacement with my passport and drivers licence, yet they told me I could not, I would need police report, affidavit, e.t.c. but, but, but, when I registered my sim, you took my finger print and my picture and here I am before you with all my DNA and all my IDs, yet I still need to reach police station? what of my record? ........................................... anyways, in this peroid of sharing we have the record that counts, BVN records, yay! oh, you say you are not making transfers? I see... so how are we going to do this thing? oh, you are going to randomly give people you find on the streets bag of rice? good thinking, mtcheew chai |
PHAYOL81:did you read the article |
mployer:Not sure when it was recorded, but it was uploaded to that news channel yesterday. |
na wa ooo a lot needs fixing in this our Nigeria attitudes/character, infrastructure, education... |
Officialgarri:why are you making it seem that Nigerian soldiers do not violate basic human rights laws? did their whipping start today? |
mployer:it may seem so bro! the video below suggests that travel out of Wuhan is still restricted, as riots breakout between the people and the police as the people try to leave. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQRvDBgwb20&t=193s |
Only if the rest of Nigerians can come out like dem and protest for better governance, a protest that seems 50 years overdue. I may not agree with these guys ideology, but I salute their courage. |
