DaddySoftapple: Hmmm seriously, I've never seen an unmarried single lady in my family, even my younger sister will get married this year or next year and I'm still enjoying my singlehood. Lol
I wonder how a lady stay between 23 to 30 without finding a man to marry.
This is not about being desperate, it's about being positive in life with great character.
One thing i know is that guys appreciates a great lady with great character.
Our eyes are not blind, we know those Ladies that are good for sex only and those we pray to get married to.
The category you belong as a lady depends on how you have lived your life so far, it's nobody's fault.
Because like it or not, some guys you see as bad guys are only bad because they have not seen that lady that will make them start thinking of marriage.
I have a friend that loves womanizing, but he saw a lady and got married in less than three months.
He told me when he met her, he quickly start thinking of marriage because she was a Gem and would not want to lose her, and indeed she changed his life for good and today they are Happy with a baby boy.
It all depends on you as a woman.
I for example, there was a female In school years ago i would have gotten married to if i wasn't in school then and was financially buoyant, though i was young but for a young guy to start thinking of marriage back then shows there was something amazing about her.
And now she is married with two kids living in the UK and she is just 28. So you see i was Right after all, another sharp shooter came and took her away from me. Lol
Chai this life nor fair at all.
So dear op, you need to think your life through, what you did wrong in the last five years and draw close to GOD. Based on the order of the Peaky blinders. Hmmm seriously, I've never seen an unmarried single lady in my family, even my younger sister will get married this year or next year and I'm still enjoying my singlehood. LolThis is because the girls in your family were groomed to see marriage as an achievement. I'm certain that if you take time out to find out what is really happening in their lives, you will realise that most of them are unhappy. I wonder how a lady stay between 23 to 30 without finding a man to marry.
The same way some people with good grades stay unemployed for years. Our eyes are not blind, we know those Ladies that are good for sex only and those we pray to get married to.So how come the good women are having problems with their spouses? The category you belong as a lady depends on how you have lived your life so far, it's nobody's fault. All the promiscuous ladies in my department at the University are married with kids. The only decent lady in my class, is still unmarried. He told me when he met her, he quickly start thinking of marriage because she was a Gem and would not want to lose her, and indeed she changed his life for good and today they are Happy with a baby boy.
You have no idea how much ladies pretend just to hook a man. My friend, most married ladies played out a script, and their husbands fell foolishly for it. Give him a few more years, and the story will change. What I'm trying to say in essence is that, character has nothing to do with late marriage. So please stop making the OP feel like she created a big problem for herself. |

toplinetrtrend: This isn't just about what the society expects; it's the way humans are built. We are built for companionship; we aren't meant to live lone lives. Check many of those who are single when they are supposed to be married; they aren't really happy. They may lie on social media that they are happy, but that's just a pretense?
No human is complete alone; you need someone to make you complete. Happiness is a choice. There are more unhappy married people than singles. |

olabrinks: I agree.
When I met my husband I became a lot happier it opened doors for me, and now I see life a lot differently. Not to talk of the joy that parenthood brings. My happiness doesn’t rely solely on him, but partnership with him sure does make life easier despite our ups and downs. Everybody deserves to find someone, loneliness kills fast. There are people with your kind of mentality; who only need a life partner to feel happier. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but not everyone was wired that way. Loneliness is relative. There are married people who still feel lonely, while there are single people who don't feel lonely despite their marital status. In my opinion, if you need someone to make you feel complete, then you may have a problem. |

CsRockefeller: You people saying she should be happy, live her life to the fullest bla bla bla.
What if having a man in her life would just be that one thing to trigger her joy?
I once stayed with an uncle who was so bitter and angry, always quarrelling with me on little issues. The day his GF now wife came to visit him for the first time, he was so happy, I couldn't believe it, my uncle was so happy for a long time you would have thought he hit the lottery.
They are still married for about 6 years and I can still see that happiness in him.
You think at 30 it's easy to stay alone? Be alone, especially emotionally?
My dear, I only hope you find a man who truly deserves you. God cannot be wrong, if he says it's not good for a "man" to be alone then it's not good. It's not easy to be alone, but there are people who are not afraid to stay alone, and are better off alone. It's just a generalization, and I'm not referring to the OP. |

WeRblessed: My brother its not real. Open your brains.
Insect crawling out of body is called Formication, which literally happens to a lot of people in the western countries and Africa. If not treated on time your body starts changing. There is also elephantiasis which Africans believe that someone stepped on a juju. Strange sicknesses in Africa are termed as juju, but educated minds and the western nations know the clinical names and solutions to them.
No be Naija people saw a self-driving vehicle last year dem say na witch?
Abeg, no vess, Africa is in sh#t! Since you know so much, then why didn't the doctors in the teaching and sophisticated hospitals she was taken to diagnose her condition? Insect crawling out of body is called Formication, which literally happens to a lot of people in the western countries and Africa. Please don't mislead people. Formication is described as a sensation which RESEMBLES that of small insects crawling on or under the skin. It doesn't mean that there are actual insects in your body. Even though mites can crawl into the body causing scabies, the condition is not always that serious, and that is completely different from formication. Formication causes itchiness, tingling and sometimes prickling. I know this, cos I have experienced it before. You should research more about it. And please, I didn't say insects were crawling out of his body. I said, after undergoing medication with a herbalist, the foreign body which was moving around his body and causing him so much discomfort; and which happened to be a millipede, crawled and settled on his feet. Do you know the interesting part? When the millipede settled on his feet, the herbalist told his family that was the much he could do, and that he needed a surgery to have the millipede removed. So, can you explain how a millipede which was the size of a big rat got into his body? And how come the doctors couldn't diagnose what was wrong with him? Señor, some of us are very experienced, and I am aware of what is happening around me. Like I always tell people who are doubting Thomases:"Just pray it doesn't happen to you". |

Diabolic people are like movie actors playing the roles of diabolic people.
Telling Africans to please get sense, but dem no gree. My cousin never believed in diabolism until he was struck with an ailment that defied doctor's expertise. Eventually, his family sought the help of a herbalist, and after a few weeks of medication, the foreign object in his body crawled to his feet. It happened to be a live millipede. How could God deposit 85% of the world's mineral resources in Africa, Nigeria especially, but they are still one of the poorest continent in the world? Do you know that average Nigerian person does not know how many mineral resources Nigeria has. All they know is oil. How could we have coal, and still not able to produce enough electricity for the citizens?
An average Nigerian man's inspiration is to be a politician, because they don't know any other way out. I had some of them from Africa when I was in college, they all think backwardly. They always think that there are some forces out there to get them. Some of them didn't even want some of their friends to know that they are schooling in America, because they think that they might do them some juju or something. Most of them are confused with religion to the extent that they have refused to work in some decent corporations due to their religious beliefs. They'll rather work at Walmart or food lion, however, they are well educated with bachelors and master's degrees. My sibling had your kind of mentality, until she came to Nigeria and took up a job with the Federal Government. What she is experiencing right now cannot be described. What you believe or don't believe, doesn't change the fact that evil abounds in the world. |

Ilekokonit: Most black women are selfish, self-centered, unreasonable and can't understand logic
For starters why would a woman spend a man's x over and over again with the man not batting an eyelid and happily give to her in many ways but when it comes to the inconsequential non cash items that she possesses, she becomes demonically possessive.
For example why would a woman blow a fuse when the man uses the wrong knife in her kitchen or steps on her carpet with shoes.
The same man that has given your sorry ass enough money to knock yourself out and buy 100 knives or carpets if you so wish suddenly becomes the enemy and brings out the legions of demons in you for one poxy knife or carpet.
Are these women sane at all ? Or is it that one demon resides in them that wants nothing good for them and prompts them to push away any man that can help their condition For starters why would a woman spend a man's x over and over again with the man not batting an eyelid and happily give to her in many ways but when it comes to the inconsequential non cash items that she possesses, she becomes demonically possessive. No man, I repeat, no man gives out money without expecting something in kind. So, if a man is spending cash on a lady, he is reaping the benefits in kind, and he should have nothing to complain about. There are two ways of giving;in kind and in cash. If you can afford to give in cash, then cool, but otherwise, you can also give in kind. While the man gives in cash, the woman gives in kind, and that tends to balance the equation. Handling domestic chores and raising kids are some of the ways a woman can give in kind. And any man who thinks that a woman's contribution doesn't measure up to his, is the selfish one. For example why would a woman blow a fuse when the man uses the wrong knife in her kitchen or steps on her carpet with shoesAnd why should a matured man in his right senses step on the carpet with dusty shoes when he knows clearly that it is wrong? And the woman is supposed to turn a blind eye just because the man is providing for her right? In other words, if the woman happens to be the one with the cash, then she has every right to lord over the man, and he should not complain. The same man that has given your sorry ass enough money to knock yourself out and buy 100 knives or carpets if you so wish suddenly becomes the enemy and brings out the legions of demons in you for one poxy knife or carpet. You reason like the type that thinks that just because he has money to throw around, then he deserves to be treated like a demi-god. Exhibiting some behaviors on purpose, just to rob in in your woman's face that you're the provider is childish. The expectations some of you men have of women have surpassed the experience they had with their parents. You bought her 100 knives and carpets, but her parents birthed her and nurtured her to become lady she has become. If she can challenge her parents, and call them to order when they err, then who are you to complain? |

lavylilly: Only if all men can be like my future husband, there won't be need for a house help.
See future boo, On Saturdays I know as a business man you can take the day off for family business's sake. First I prepare breakfast we all eat and get ready for the day's hassle.
I will be in the kitchen cooking lunch. You will be mopping the floors and tidying our space while the kids will be outside the compound playing, After that,
You go bath the kids and stay with them while i run a little laundry cos we must have a washing machine so everything will be easy going,
When we are done with house chores.. We can all sleep and rest from the day's hassle and probably perform our marital duty to each other(my favorite part)..
Some Sundays you can hangout with your friends and do boy's things... Some Sundays too it would be my turn to leave you with the kids and hangout with my friends and do girls things.. Other Sundays it would be family outing..
On school days While I wake up to go prepare breakfast and what the kids will take to school, You are up too bathing the kids and preparing them for school. Either you or me can DRIVE the kids to school.
While we do this together, the love, the fire and bond in our Union will never quench .
Oh, of course we both would be earning in our various businesses or job and be bringing money home for our family's welfare...
Other men, You see why you should all be like my future husband? You see??
To avoid assumed stories of the so called possessed wicked house helps
I come in peace.. Thanks Hmnn.....while you're not asking for too much, you will hardly find a man like that. The truth is, some Nigerian men only remember to do domestic chores when they are broke and jobless. And as soon as they hit the jackpot, they become something else. I have a neighbour who fits into the kind of man in the post. I think the man is the nicest man there is! Aside being domesticated, he also provides for his family. And the funny part is, the wife is a full time housewife. The kids are so close to him that if they need anything, it's their dad they go to. |

I once worked in the account section of a company where I was responsible for handling physical cash worth millions of naira. Some of my 'shallow minded' colleagues assumed that handling such cash meant that I had the privilege of diverting funds into personal use without being discovered.
There were times some would come to me and ask to give them a loan;stating that I should use my power to cover it up for a couple of days. I never succumbed to this madness, and I ended up with more enemies than friends.
Then the spiritual attack began! And when the center could no longer hold, I took a bow. One of them would later confess about 2-3 years later on how she tried to diabolically scheme her way to assume my position while I was working at that company. In fact, the plan was to oust me by snuffing life out of me, but fortunately, I got lucky.
Unfortunately, not many people were as lucky as I was. A couple of weeks ago, a family friend who worked with a Federal Establishment died after she had a disagreement with a co-worker over unaccountable funds.
She was threatened by this colleague and seven days later, she was struck with a strange and severe migraine. All evidence pointed to this colleague of hers because she usually appeared in a trance; and uses a heavy stick to hit her head continuously. The pain would be so severe that this family friend would just be screaming and calling out for help.
Then she went spiritual, and her suspicions were confirmed. But unfortunately, she died without respite.
The Federal Medical Center in one of the north central states is a dangerous zone. Deaths are recorded almost on a daily basis, and these people die in mysterious circumstances. They targets are mostly those in sensitive and highly competitive positions.
I know some people will argue that these things don't exist; and no one has the diabolical power to snuff life out of anyone. Saying these evil don't exist is tantamount to drawing conclusions that the devil doesn't exist either. The truth is, Africans are surrounded with lots of evil, and you will doubt it until it happens to someone close to you.
So to the question at hand: those of you occupying sensitive positions at work, how do you deal with diabolism in your work environment? Do you fight evil with evil, or do you commit everything into God's hand and watch as events play out?
You can contribute your inputs so others will learn how to handle such office menace and also master how to thread carefully. |

Olayinka777: Good morning Nairalanders,I believe we are all doing great? I want to share a nasty experience I had with the house online on Saturday evening.
There's this Telegram group where members trade in Bitcoin,I mean they buy & sell through the help of Escrows.
To cut the long story short I have been buying btc from some websites without issues Infact I bought $30 earlier from one of the site & it was delivered promptly.
So I needed to get $50 worth more of btc that was when I just decided to give the Telegram platform a shot since I have seen many members trade there severally.
After negotiating the price with a supposed seller & the supposed escrow member that was how I was scammed of about #18,000 & the next thing I noticed was that the guys deleted all the chats we had.
Now luckily for me I have a family friend that works in the bank that the scammer used.
My question now is,do u think the family friend can do anything to get my money out?
Pls I need suggestions or pieces of advice on what to do. Firstly, sorry for your loss. Secondly, NEVER transact on telegram as there are more rippers there than the whole of Nigerian population put together. Thirdly, you should have consulted your family friend first before lamenting here. Explain everything to him, and share a screenshot of the cleared chats and evidence of payment. Then implore him to help you in placing a 'post no debit' on the account(this will help if the money has not be withdrawn already).
