We import maize to feed livestock. SMH. |
WorldRichest:Exactly. It's those mumus casting their votes and killing themselves to keep you guys rich that I pity. Certainly if Nigeria becomes good today, all you guys will become poor and end up in prison. So you'll make sure the country never gets better. |
Thisisa:Apologies for cutting your age smaller. No man likes rejection, naturally. Just that some men don't have time to think about it because they already have the next lady in their scopes. The best way to lose that fear is to keep asking out random ladies, especially those you're not close to. You'll realize ladies give only two answers: * No * I'd think about it. Not because of the way she feels about you, or what she thinks. It's just their psyche. If she says yes, something is seriously wrong with either you or her. Do that often enough and you'll get a hang of it. |
Goodlady: ![]() Apt. |
Thisisa:I don't know your age bracket. But I assume you're late teenage or young adult. The ones you're attracted to are probably attractive because some guy(s) dated her in her crude form and refined her (physically and/or emotionally), or that relationship experience just refined her. This is usually the case at your age bracket. Seriously consider this. The day a fox touches the red comb on a rooster's head, and realises it's not fire, and his fear of it was unwarranted, that day it will have the rooster for dinner. Don't be afraid of rejection. It's part of the stuff. Just like the rooster's comb. Any guy that has never been rejected has never asked a "normal" girl out. Ask a girl out anyhow you can say your feelings. There's no best way to express it, and there's no best words to say. |
Eyinju112:Most patients don't respond to treatment. That's the bitter truth. |
You won't forgive yourself if you mistake Gwagwa for Gwagwalada. They're two extremes in different directions. |
IconicR:You just believe what they tell you? Well maybe you're thinking 30 years when you said distant time. |
WorldRichest:So you're saying BAT enriches his political friends on taxpayers money. And you are even proud to say that. |
Addme:Why do you support criminality? This is why Nigeria never progresses. There's no protection for vulnerable people. Try those blackmailing methods in UK. They will not only fine you the money that will close down that loan company, the owners will also end up in jail! But really, they would have even been arrested the very week they launch the loan app. |
Acekidc4:Lower which ego? Do you know how many years they've been complaining? You're the same people that will start crying foul when these doctors decide to Japa to UK and Canada. |
The truth is, no matter how advanced we were before colonization, our forefathers failed to pass down that greatness down to us. Instead, they chose to tell us the "wonders" that oyinbo (bature) brought to our land. It's not the fault of the colonialists, but our forefathers that threw away their heritage for western civilization. |

Nice ride! BMW is often underrated in Nigeria. |
You don't need to tell them to forget women. They will lose that memory by themselves. But hey. It's not all zero. Your social circle matters. If you want women visit clubs regularly! "When you go black, you can't go back" - if you don't gerrit forget about it. Anyways, when you have better things to do with your life, women will be the last thing on your mind. |
No. Not on tourist visa. If you want to Japa make sure your Visa gives you work authorization, except you're going for studies. E get why. |
OP. Your brain needs military intervention. |
HacheNoire:Alcohol can make you fall asleep faster. But not certain of the quality of sleep - make sure you take as little as the quantity that makes you a bit tipsy. Not intoxicated, and definitely not drunk! Another approach: * Lie down on your back. * Keep taking deep and slow breaths, holding your breath both when you fully inhale and when you fully exhale. * Count one to ten repeatedly with each breath cycle. * Relax ALL your muscles as you exhale, relax them further with each breath. * Keep relaxing all your muscles until you feel your weight against the bed. (Clue: If you try to lift your arm it will feel heavy - when that happens you're there). * Keep repeating all above. * Wake up the next morning feeling deeply refreshed. * Share the results on this thread. (You won't know when you fall asleep) |
People who regularly travelled the old Ibadan - Ilorin road in the late 90s or early 2000s would have faced this scenario quite a lot of times. ![]() |
No big deal. My cousin FINISHED her PhD at 26 and we didn't put it in the news. My sisters finished masters at 21 and 22. The earliest this lady can get her PhD is at 27. What are we talking about? I don't do tribal wars. But unless you finish your PhD before your 25th birthday in South West, you won't get much attention. |
For clarifying... Ibadan is the main western city that suffers the brown roofs bashing. I lived there before, so I know it's an exaggerated issue. Ibadan had brown roofs for a reason. And you mostly find them at the old centre of the city. This is because iron sheets was the most popular roofing material before asbestos and the likes got to the market. Most of those brown roofs you see have been there for over a century! Many before 1930. Educated people have abandoned those areas since the 1970s - more than 50 years ago. I once had a colleague who spent more than 2 years in Ibadan and never knew those brown roofs existed until I took her on a tour to Beere, Mapo, and Premier hotel. And this is a lady that moved around a whole lot. I still remember her screaming at the sight. My point. Visit Ibadan and you'll find out only a small fraction of the city has brown roofs. In fact, there's less than 5% chance you'll ever have any business to do in those areas. Don't just look at pictures online and start saying what you don't know. |
TBIZZY:Ronaldo is the exact opposite. |
Just privatise those refineries. They breed corruption as stagnant water to mosquitoes. |
The older the wine, right? Continue |
Many people today are like the lion, running from problems that are actually blessings. While others are like the goat, pursuing problems that will consume them. |
You need advice from both. |
Samantha124:Lol. That's another viewpoint. Imagine I bought some flowers from you, paid with my card on a POS, which issued automated receipt. But you still give back the amount paid in cash. It's already on both our banks' records that I paid for the flowers, right? Or you issue an invoice, but applied 100% discount on it. Your auditor is satisfied that the transaction is substantiated. Or a judge giving a suspended sentence of 2 years. The accused becomes an ex-convict immediately, possibly without ever seeing prison walls. |
Samantha124:The gods need to be satisfied that the groom's family did everything required. ![]() Just joking though. But that's the background reason. They want to prove that tradition was respected in the first place. Then they "gift" the money back to the groom. Also a way of saying "no amount of money can buy my daughter, I'm giving her to you as a kind gesture". |
