International exposure is an asset for every government in the world, not just Nigeria. That writer obviously lacks managerial skills, and should be living in a cave. Someone who grew up in Nigeria and spent some good time in a developed country will have a better holistic view of the country's problems. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:You're talking about pre-independence era. Who uses Zxcvbnmghtr as moniker by the way? No point quoting you. |
proff010:Your country was a lot better in those days. Don't let propagandists deceive you. Many Ghanaians and other Africans relocated to Nigeria for greener pastures those days. The exact opposite is happening now. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Those where times nobody bought tokunbo cars except taxi drivers or people without higher education. Many owned brand new cars. Again, why does someone who doesn't know history talk about what happened back in the 70s? You're out of your knowledge sphere, Hombre. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Oh really? Okay. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:You don't need to know what dollar bills look like before it affects your cost of living in Nigeria. Why is it that those who don't understand basic economics are always jumping into threads like this? |
They don't need your shege |
Congratulations! You made the right choice to Japa. But it doesn't mean all people back home are suffering financially, despite the odds. The difference is, it's a lot easier to live comfortably abroad, even if you don't hammer over there. But no one is comfortable in Nigeria no matter how rich you are, there are many unwarranted headaches to deal with. |
Godoverevery:Remember I told you! They only wanted to distract you guys from the subsidy removal by dropping gas prices (temporarily). The prices are rising already, just 3 months! https://www.nairaland.com/7843389/soaring-price-cooking-gas-how It wasn't a prophecy, it's just knowing the game. |
Of course |
If you know how Indians do business in Nigeria, you wouldn't celebrate like this. |
helinues:To even live in Lagos means you're mad. You won't know you're mad until you visit other cities on normal business days (NOT weekend or holidays that your fellow Lagos madmen are also visiting). |
Indian Vs Pakistan alone is enough to end the world as we know it. |
You should be focused on "how to identify non-scam churches" because truth be told, most are. The first step is knowing Jesus Christ Himself and the word of God. So that another man will not be scamming you. |
This is why you shouldn't trust everything you see on the news. Not just Vanguard. Even international giants use words selections that change the public opinion about a subject matter. Knowing this will make you wise. |
No. That's not true. They just running after what they don't have - the opposite of what they currently have, whether it's thick or slim. |
He dey craze. Forget about him. |
Japa to UK doesn't mean you have to stay in UK. There are other countries where your UK degree will open doors to. Widen your scope. That is the real deal. |
It's sad many youths today don't even know their country was once a very good place. That's why they support wrong leaders. They think it's all just about hustling and making money to have a good life and fail to call their leaders to responsible governance. |
Plus this one plus "Nuru massage". They're all exotic approaches to ashawo work. They would tell you they're professional masseuses, but you just need to top up the fees to get the happy ending sex. PS For those guys asking for mouth action, cum and the rest, those are value added services for priority customers ![]() |
KYC is something nairaland is missing. People talk anyhow because they feel their identity is (almost) anonymous. Truth. This forum has become so toxic that when someone quoted me with a response so polite, I had to check up their profile and realised it was a new account. But it's not the forum that's the problem. It's a reflection of who we really are as Nigerians - and that is why the country never progresses. |
When I see people that suppose to have sense defending a man with questionable character, I just give up on Nigeria. |
The same set of people that defended those lies are now saying another thing. And gullible people will still believe them. Men are so simple of mind, and so much dominated by their needs, that a deceitful man will always find plenty who are ready to be deceived. - Niccolò Machiavelli. If after what you saw in 8 years you still believe APC, it's either you're APC yourself, or they should just give up on you. SMH. |
He is correct. Since he's not talking about Fela or Lagbaja or Sunny Ade kind of Afrobeat. He's referring to his contemporaries today, and he should have clarified that. His music too is not exempt from his comments anyway. |
Throwback:Why don't you guys ever have sense? So anybody not supporting Tinubu is Igbo or obidient? O ma she o. |
This could get you caught in the middle of serious felony case of armed robbery or kidnapping. That could change your life forever. If you are absolutely sure you can reach the seller again, consider reporting to police. Else just destroy it and throw it away. |
1. Pour sniper undiluted at every corner of the apartment. Use multiple bottles generously. Close all doors and windows and leave the house for two days. Come back to clean up everything. You may need to repeat this every 3-4 weeks for the next 3-6 months, depending on how quickly problem gets resolved. 2. Always have green leaf, or Rambo powder at corners and dark places 24/7. Even when you stop seeing them. They leave trails of scent that attract other cockroaches in the future. Use a strong smelling product like bleach to wipe out surfaces in corners and edges and dark areas. This will help remove those scent trails. |
favor914:You're an infant shey? |
When you attempt to get mining license for these minerals, the high level frustration will make you understand why that sector is not developed. |

. And the brand new cars were so affordable. Many kids were so proud of their parents owning a bicycle then.
