RisenPhoenix1:Again, this is not man vs women debate. There's no such award. Pregnancy and the need to hide it is only a consequence of an action committed by two parties. Once the action is over, the woman bears the consequences alone and I think it's unfair to blame her for taking actions to protect herself just because man doesn't have pregnancy to worry about. It's not an equal playing ground cause men don't get pregnant, we just deposit and move on. But this isn't even a contest to start with. Like I said, the idea of getting aroused by the slightest opportunity to attack women has gone on for too long and it hasn't yielded any positive result because we have refused to acknowledge the fact nothing will change until we also start telling our fellow men to stop cheating on their spouses and stop sleeping with married women. You know, just like we call the women out when they do these things. |
RisenPhoenix1:There's no report to show men's infidelity, thanks to nature. But then, these women that cheat don't sleep with trees. If we want to curtail this, we must desist from this attitude of always calling women why protecting the men. Let's hold everyone accountable. |
Fortune109:Lol... of course, it has always been sentiments and conspiracies. I should have known to save my "breath". I live in the Americas. I've been living here for as long as I can remember and to be frank with you sir, I'd rather live with harmless homosexuals than with racists or some white supremacists who believe others are here to contaminate their race. So yeah, I'll go with my homosexual Democrats who, by the way, have won the election . I'll leave you with your saint Donald Trump who grabs them by the puss.y. Hopefully, he succeeds in granting himself presidential pardon for his offenses. I only pity the Republicans whose image he's succeeded in tarnishing. |
Kayberg:Yes, I agree age could cause it but I believe skin colour change happens before one becomes an adult and when one is aging. I think middle age person shouldn't be changing colours except for those factors I mentioned. I only mentioned cause your post suggested she might have gotten her fairness with the aid of cream. |
What of Canada ? |
Kayberg:She said she was naturally fair. @OP, I believe people's complexion change as they get older but that's till to get to a certain age. Afterwards, I believe it's only poor diet, overexposure to sun rays, poor hygiene or cream that can change that. I know people say it's hardship but hardship only leads to any of the things I listed. So I actually think you'd figure out the reason yourself if you pay close attention. I'm not an expert. |
Great. Thanks for sharing. |
Fortune109:You are still trying to lump them up when I have over and over again made it clear the approach is the bone of contention. Politicians will be politicians and it is fine if you can stay within "legal correctness". You overstep when you ignore the due process or try to use violence to achieve your aim. This is America and that can never be tolerated because adherent to the rule of law is a major indicator of a first world country. So nobody is asking for the exact same scenario, the approach only needs to be arguably legal and non violent. Whatever it is you claim the Democrats were trying to do in the last election, they managed to keep it within the tolerance of the American law. They encouraged the people the move on while they challenged the outcome themselves. They didn't resort to inciting violence. And eventually, they lost and went home. Can we say this about Trump? You're asking what the Democrats would have done if they had perceived any phoney activites against them; was that not what played out the last time when they detected Russian interference in the election? What did they do? They accepted the results in public to calm the people down while they kept digging for evidence long after the election. Like you said, they almost succeeded but eventually lost cause what they had wasn't concrete enough. They were not happy but they let go cause the law had spoken. What makes Trump think he's above that? The software tweak story you mentioned was alleged. People came to that conclusion not via any technical means but based on what they saw as inconsistencies in the numbers. That's not a problem. The problem is, what made Trump think the Democrats were stupid to have followed the due process when they had their own doubts? What made him think encouraging his supporters to fight was going to yield any positive result?Today 5 people are dead already and you people are complaining his accounts were banned; were you seriously expecting the country to sit back and watch him destabilize them? If Donald Trump had any evidence to prove the software was tweaked to disfavor him, he would have done what the Democrats did when they believed Russian interference worked against them. Ignoring the rule of law doesn't just undermine the democratic system, it undermines the judiciary system and that's the height. He made his choice against the advice of both the Republicans and the Democrats. |
thebosstrevor1:Homosexuality is first a sexual orientation just like heterosexuality. Now, unless you're telling me you can just wake up and decide not to be attracted to women anymore, you must agree with me that sexual orientation isn't just a behavior, it's inherent. For some gay people, they already knew they were gay when they were little. There are effeminate 9 year olds out there. They never had the chance to make a choice just like you never had to chose to be straight. The amount of self hatred some of these gay teens harbor cause of societal perception is immeasurable. The earlier you understand that nature is not perfect, the better for you and I. Some people were born blind, some with one leg, etc. but you've decided to shy away from the fact that some could be born with a different sexual orientation other than the norm? You think the more-than-one-billion people on earth were born straight? Please, let's be realistic and tell ourselves the truth. Asides from the core message of love, the bible contains teachings influenced by the traditions and knowledge gap of the people of that time. This is very obvious. |
thebosstrevor1:Are you gay? If not, how can you know about the feelings of a gay person more he does? Why are you people so close minded? You've not seen an effeminate 9 year old boy before? Was he also brainwashed? The earlier you understand that nature is not perfect, the better for you and I. Some people were born blind, some with one leg, etc. but you've decided to shy away from the fact that some could be born with a different sexual orientation other than the norm? You think the more-than-one-billion people on earth were born straight? Please, let's be realistic and tell ourselves the truth. Asides from the core message of love, the bible contains teachings influenced by the traditions and knowledge gap of the people of that time. This is very obvious. |
Fortune109:The Russian accusation which was made before the 2016 election could not have been geared towards challenging Trump's victory when there was no winner when the accusation was made. It came after Hillary's private email server accusation was brought up. The protest of 2016 had nothing to do with it. And like I said, even if it did, the Democrats took every step to calm the people down. Can you say this about Trump? The Democrats undermined the democratic system system by challenging the result? Lol... so what then is democracy? Dude, you're really trying to make this about challenging the results because that would help you make a convenient comparison but it is never about that cause challenging the election result does not in anyway undermine the democratic system. In fact, it is an integral part of the democratic system and the right of the loser. The only requirement is that you keep it legal. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans were the first to challenge the results, it has happened more than 5 times in the American history. I don't know your age but that of the 2000 election was even far dramatic than the Russian accusation. So get your facts right. Challenging the result is not the problem. Again accusations are normal in politics and Hillary didn't start it. Trump's team brought up Hillary's private email server accusation long before the Russian accusation was made. If you read my posts, I never said Trump shouldn't challenge the result cause it's his right. Like I said earlier, what matters is how the losing party goes about it and Trump's narcissistic and egoistic approach landed him here. America is not lawless. Hillary followed the legal process and went home to lick her wounds when she couldn't prove anything. She didn't incite people into taking to the streets violently and she called them to order when they did. Again, can you say this about Trump? |
mach7:Hillary was accused of something in the in 2016 election. Trump was also accused of something then. Counter accusations are normal. Politics is dirty everywhere, as a Nigerian you know this better than anyone else. So the problem isn't that Trump accused the Democrats of election fraud, the problem is follow up actions and his willingness to sacrifice peace/stability for his political goals. Hillary believed there was inconsistencies in the last election as well but she didn't degenerate into this. She left the people out if her saga, accepted the result and followed with the problem party to part afterwards. Trump somehow believes he can always have things go his way against all odds like a baby. He doesn't know his limits and that is what has brought him into this. As for the bolded, the majority is the voice. So when I say Americans don't want him, I meant the majority, however sizable Trump's supporters might be. Most of those who believe the election wasn't free and fair are simply following the voice of thier preferred candidate. If that number of people had any proof of fraud, Biden wouldn't have been declared the winner. |
Fortune109:Please sir, let's not twist history. Except you are talking about a different protest, the anti Trump protest was on November 9, 2016, just a day after the election. And no, it was not in any way incited by the Democrats as suggested by your post. Hillary never rejected the election result. She called Donald Trump the night of the election day to congratulate him and she made a concession speech the very next day; a public display of willingness to go with the result. The protest started later in the evening on the 9th and continued till the next day, and Hillary called for calm. All these are steps that vindicate a candidate. She kept the people out of their saga, something Trump wasn't willing to do. Though the Russian accusation was first mentioned in September 2016 (before the election even when it was "apparent" Hillary would win), it didn't really gain traction till January 2017 when it was detailed by the office of the DNI. It was never the reason for the anti-Trump protest. Never. But assuming it was; like I said, the person a group of people is clamoring for is implicitly the leader of the protest and has the power to stop a protest. Hillary called for calm when her supporters held a peaceful protest and you cannot in any way hold her responsible for it. Can we say the same about Trump? He didn't make the customary call, he didn't give a concession speech, he outrightly rejected the result and even called on supporters to "fight like hell", a statement that could be interpreted in many ways. And when the protest took place, he called them "great patriots". Bro, check that out. Moreover, the anti-Trump protest of November 2016 was not in any was as destructive. People don't just get arrested for protesting in the US. If these Trump supporters guys are being arrested and social media are banning Trump's accounts, it's because the protesters were extremely aggressive (5 people dead so far!) and Trump (the implicit leader) who was meant to call for calm was doing the opposite. His cabinet members are resigning, he doesn't talk with his vice anymore, etc., everyone can't be wrong and only him right. Dude is living in his head alone and it's shocking he's got people supporting him in Africa. No, I don't need the media to explain to me what l lived through. Let's not always attack the media, it undermines our own intelligence. There's absolutely no comparison between the way the Democrats handled their loss and the way Trump is handling his. Only sentiment would make anyone even consider that. |
Lol... you seem all worked up. I'd suggest you keep your opinion and let others keep theirs. |
mach7:Awesome. So why didn't Trump also "accept" the result and then go ahead to complain, write a book or carry out his investigation like the Democrats did? There lies the difference between him and the Democrats. He was willing to sacrifice the stability of the country on the alter of his political ambitions. That's not what anyone who really cares about the nation would do cause his political ambitions are not worth the chaos. It's was the American political system and legal structure that put him there despite the allegations you pointed out; it was, therefore, ridiculous of him to have thought they could be bent at will. What exactly was he trying to achieve with the unintelligent moves? In what way could it have gone well? You think they'd have been peace in the country if the results were nullified as he requested? You think Democrats were dumb when they went to lick their wounds after the last election? Trump knew so well that his actions could lead to many outcomes none of which would have been peaceful but he didn't care. He had options before him and he took this path with his eyes wide open. Whatever his reasons were, it was a dumb move both for him and his party. This is the consequence of his actions so let's drop the emotional blackmail. America doesn't want him. Let's move on. |
Bestmanwealthy:Lol... why are you fighting with yourself? Nobody has forced you to 'collect' nah. |
Fortune109:Hillary accepted the result and Obama ensured a smooth transition. Those two are the card bearing party members representing the Democrats in the whole drama. The so-called thugs are citizens; supporters like you and I. They aren't party members, they only seek good governance and would always go with one preferred candidate or the other. I don't think the issue here is the reaction of the people when their preferred candidate loses an election. The issue is the reaction of the candidate who is the representative of thier party. Trump's action or inaction fueled this unfortunate outcome. We both know this, let's not galvanize it. People will always react but the decision of the person they're clamoring for determines to what extent the people would go. Trump could have stopped this a long time ago but he encouraged it cause he had hoped it would yield a positive result for him. He's only giving up now cause he has no choice. Good afternoon. |
Bruno3000:I'm not really interested in the subject of this thread but the person you quoted had every reason to clear her name. Someone just accused her of something; you weren't expecting her to just keep quiet. You may not agree with whatever her stance is onhere but asking her what's wrong with her when she was only responding to the accusation made against her is unfair. Objectivity over sentiments. No offense. |
sagieramos:The colour |
LisaAnne:Honestly, being a girl in Nigeria must be depressing. If NL boys represent the mindset of a typical Nigerian man, then there's every reason to support the feminist movement. These people are just wicked and inconsiderate; far worse than racists. |
OP, what are exactly are you asking the forum members? If your relationship can lead to marriage? You are really waiting for people who dont know you or your girl to tell you if your own relationship will lead to marriage? The so-called alphas, right? Why not also ask them if your first child will be a boy or a girl? Lmao. Whatever happens to being yourself and chasing your happiness as an individual? No offense intended but it would seem the peer pressure here is gradually turning some people into "zombies". Our boys are practically asking for manuals on how to exist so as not be ostracised by the older ones who unfortunately don't seem to ever outgrow some boyish tendencies. The other day, one came to ask strangers if he should buy his girlfriend a gift. I wonder how the girl would feel if she found out that her boyfriend's brain is product of community service. |
Nigerian men complain women are too dependent. But deep within, they don't really want independent women cause they fear it would challenge their gender superiority status. It's catch-22 situation. Lol. |
Congratulations, bro. Suppress them in schools, churches, offices and at home too. You're a man. You're doing just great. Women are trash. Now, you'll be happier and more successful in life. You're making Nigeria better! |
this will never happen in the sh*thole, they will prefer to go down with himSo who elected Trump? |
Lol... Nigerians criminalized same-sex relationship between two consenting adults who never signed any agreement with a third party but they'd cry a river when they are slightly criticized for cheating on someone they took marriage vows and signed marriage contract with. Logic is nowhere to be found. |
Uncle93:You know it's not right, full stop. We know age may not equal maturity but the law had to draw a line and the line is 18. So asides the fact that it's morally wrong for such a school girl to be receiving your nude pics, it's also a crime. Let's forget the but. We are always quick to call girls dirty names but try to shy away from criticizing our fellow men. |
RIP |
Kamdil:Yes o... some men are extremely dangerous. |
