Lol... he couldn't even defend himself or talk back. I've learned early enough that most of these guys who come online to rubbish women and call any famous or rich lady names are just struggling with self esteem issues. They say these things just to feel good about themselves. Poor guy.

Poor guy. I like his accent though he was not very coherent. He was not even communicating, he was just shouting, abusing and threatening. He's probably mentally unstable. Moreover, some Nigerians behave like people with PTSD when they leave the country. After suffering in the hands of thier law enforcement officers who have no regards for human rights, they become so obsessed with the whole "I know my rights" stuff that courtesy is forgotten.

I'd like to believe they were referring to something else but the emojis make that hard. Maybe they're both 18 but just have little bodies?

Hhmm... The point I was making is that his mistake wasn't returning the money. His mistake was traveling illegally. And like I said, I don't think there's any available information to suggest he returned the money solely for chances of being rewarded. He could have done it cause he wasn't just the type that causes other people pains by taking thier money. That he got into the country without papers doesn't imply he's likely to take/keep something that doesn't belong to him. We have many blacks like him who pay "agents" to get them into the western countries but wouldn't take somebody's else's money. The world is not black and white.

It's funny when you guys say it's better to bring a child home to be trained in Africa cause kids trained in Africa are likely to turn out better, and then turn around to say white ladies are better than your home trained black women. The simple fact here is that blacks (Africans specifically) always believe "foreign made". It reflects in all thier choices and thier taste in women isn't an exception.

Most people who do these comparisons have never even said "hi" to a white lady.

I don't understand Nigerians. You guys bicker over everything including which ethnic group has more people in diaspora? It's not a surprise Nigeria has more immigrants in the US than other African countries given the population difference. Likewise, it shouldn't be a surprise that there are more Yorubas amongst the immigrants seeing that Yorubas are higher in number in Nigeria. I wonder if this would have mattered this much if the destination in question was India or some other place than the US.

I think you guys left the wrong move of sneaking into another man's country illegally and jumped to criticizing the consequences. The dude was probably applauded. They might have even given him some gifts for what he did. But expecting them to kick the law aside just because a black money returned some amount of money that wasn't even his in the first place would be an over-reach. Policy is policy. Why this is a sad story, the system will be going down a very slippery slop if they start making exceptions as such precedence will only make illegal immigration cases more difficult to judge. Two people can easily script and orchestrate such a scenario in the future and you wouldn't have any reason to deny them PR.

Most Nigerians shy away from calling out crime simply because it's been normalized, but this isn't the case exactly out there. If there's anything to learn here, it is to ensure one has his papers before moving into a foreign country.

Some people feel superior by always saying "I don't listen to Nigerian songs, the lyrics ain't nothing but trash!". But the truth is, we all have what appeals to us in different songs, and while lyrics could be a valid factor, it is not necessarily the ultimate. Music is first about sounds before words. These guys who trashtalk Nigerian songs enjoyed despacito without knowing the meaning of a single word in the lyrics.

Would you have cared if it was a boy? When y'all call women names and shame them at the slightest sign of irresponsibility but always look the other way when boys go around publicly showcasing theirs all over the forum, you're making the environment toxic for your sisters and daughters. Accept it or not, the only way to reduce promiscuity is by removing the gender bias. Treat the girl child and the boy child alike when it comes to criticizing indecent behavior. This is because the boys you unleash today won't do it with one another. You can't rely on one party's self will alone.

Now regarding your sister, she is at a phase where y'all need to give her some sound sex education. Seizing her phone, hitting her, etc. can never yield a better result than constantly engaging in a heart-to-heart discussion with her. By freely discussing the whole boyfriend/girlfriend and other sex related topics, you make yourselves a safe space (similar to what her friends are to her) where she can talk freely. This way, you'll get the opportunity to educate her on the implications of certain decisions and the best way to stay protected.

Hate them or like them, if not for th US, countries like China and Russia would have been scrambling for colonies like the West did in the past. Life is all about phases. America, with all thier shortcomings, remains the leader of the free world today. I don't know how long they'd hold up.

Lol... all plate numbers are government registered. His is just customized. And that's not even expensive to get. So it's possible his car uses a custom plate number, but that doesn't invalidate the explanation given by the school. They said those weren't his bodyguards but fellow students doing a demo. Be it true or not, we don't have enough evidence to proove otherwise.

Truth is, y'all don't really want your ladies to be successful cause that'll eliminate your financial advantage. You just want them to have menial jobs, earn bits and still be dependent. Some of y'all trashtalk these women just because it's painful to accept a lady is making it where you can't.

Nollywood lovers know when this lady got into the scene and how she went from supporting roles to lead roles. She didn't just "blow" overnight, but still, that's not sufficient to give her some credit. Not like it would have mattered if it was a guy. I'm surprised you had to ask. Nothing comes close to the love between a mother and her child. It's simply nature as the same applies to many animals as well. This has little to do with the personality. It's not even a conscious decision. Besides, it's simply logical to care more about a child who can't care for themselves.
