mainman7:Stop spreading baseless rumors. If you don't want the vaccine, don't take it. You don't need to cook up stories just to drag others along with you. |
martyns303:I don't understand. Why would he ask this? Why would you accept a note that is being phased out? The bank is the financial institution. It is their duty to accept it, keep it and issue new ones till the old ones disappear. You not accepting from the bank and the bank accepting it from their customers is logically the only way to take it out of circulation. Maybe I'm the one not getting it. |
Peace081:Not necessarily the plan. The same set of people can enjoy the two. |
Prereqs: is this working fine locally? Have you taken a second look at the syntax you used to load it? Have you checked the validity of your CSS? Have you tried adding something very simple and overly obvious to see if the file is loading at all? Now, the troubleshooting: have you tried it on a different browser/system? Sometimes, styles are cached to reduce loading time. You should also try calling the customer file directly on your browser (by typing the URL of the file). If it's loaded, the page should work the next time you open it. And if it doesn't, the issue can then be attributed to a broken file path (assuming your host is not using any caching functionality, and if they are, call them to clear it). Another thing to check if you have a broken path is this; if your site is hosted on a Linux server, it's very important that all your paths are in small letters. So check the name of the folders and the CSS file itself. If the issue persists, you can try updating the caller page to force a recall (you can always undo this change with version control). If you want to avoid caching completely, always version your CSS. This way, the browser will know something changed and will be forced to load it. Lol... good to see how Nigerians hate porn. |
Totilopussylick:Yes, because Nigerians are known for their dislike of pornography. |
Iyaebe:Lol... calm down, it's their life. They are tired when they are. |
OP, your title says "our" while the body says "thier". You're confusing your readers. |
dawnomike:Likewise, a poor student in Igbo language department can be the best in Medicin. And a bright Physics student wouldn't know where to start from in Literature. It's not about the complexity/difficulty level of the course, it's more about the transferable skills and interest of the student. |
Afriqan: yuping:Why are you guys surprised? In a country where only one gender is criticised for promiscuity while the other is given a laissez-faire to do just about anything, what do you expect? They'll sleep with anything and come online to boast about it! |
Like someone asked, did you apply for any job? Recruiters can reach out to you even if you didn't apply for a job (depending on your stage in your career) but they don't just fix an interview date and invite you. |
If she has sex, she's olosho. If she doesn't, she's not worth it. Yet people like OP would be the ones looking for virgins to marry tomorrow. It's not your fault, your society has made it in such a way that your promiscuity is acceptable while only that of women is criticized. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here telling us about your bedroom life. |
It's funny how everyone above is complaining that the news is worthless yet they're the only ones that have rushed to comment so far. If you find something worthless, ignore it. The only thing that makes news worthy is your reaction and it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative. |
Nice one. This is an interesting finding. Lol... even people who always criticise science now suddenly believe in science just because the new findings sit well with thier belief. People should know that science is not out to there to prove or disprove the authenticity of religion. Science just wants answers no matter whose ox is gored. On the other hand, I hope the "I only believe in science" team accepts this one in good fate and try to reconcile it with thier existing believe structure. Otherwise, they wouldn't be any different from the religious folks. Meanwhile, has anyone watch the show "The Manifest"? |
Davash222:And you didn't see boys also picking? Don't allow sexism eat deep into you guys. Tribalism has done enough damage already. |
@your last line; so the man is a lifeless trophy that can't take his own decisions? It's only the ladies that are worth criticizing? The man is jumping from one woman to another but the you're more interested in bashing women. See, dear brother, selective criticism will not take us anywhere. It takes some level of shamelessness for the guy to come back to the lady he left for her best friend. It can even be argued that the lady never stopping loving him since he was the one that exited the relationship. What's the argument on his side? That he was indecisive? Or he just came back to his senses? Or the ex changed overnight? I'm all for happy endings but if we must criticize, let's be logical and objective. |
You guys are obsessed |
LottiOk:Oh... I see. Thanks. |
Codepain:Each of those threads has exactly the kind of people I'm referring to. Very quick to point out what a woman's is wearing, how women are useless, etc. but the moment there's a case against a man, they look for the ways to water down the seriousness of the issue even at the detriment of the society. Imagine someone saying "where is the picture of the so-called 14 year old girl". Anyway, in case you missed my point earlier, here it is: there is no active campaign against rape here on Nairaland despite the fact that it has become rampant. The simple reason being that men are mostly the culprits and Nigerian men are conditioned never to criticise one another. Saying a few words on a thread about rape is not enough. We need the same kind of energy Nairaland men use to bash women. And a true fight against mistreating women starts by calling out those men who go around saying things like "girls are useless" "fvk then bitches", etc. with the same energy you used to call me out for speaking up. Being all defensive when someone says we men aren't setting our priorities right in this regards is worse than keeping quiet. If you're going to sit down there and tell me you do not see the extreme sexism on this platform, then there's no need continuing this conversation. Let me stick to my "senselessness". |
Kingcalls:Of course, I suspected you were amongst those simp/alpha boys. Enjoy your day. |
Kingcalls:I am not a woman. The fact that you believe I must belong to a certain herd to speak up for that herd summarizes everything I've been saying. |
Codepain:Do you really think I'll be typing the things I type on Nairaland if sounding sensible to misogynists was my end goal? Yes, I am bitter. If rape cases don't make you bitter, they do make me. In defense of your herd, you felt the need to attack me for complaining that we aren't doing enough in speaking up against the rape culture. You were quick to call me senseless because I called out the Nairaland men folks for not being as vocal about the issue as they are about other subjects that put women in a bad light. But I'm almost certain you've never bothered to caution all the Nairaland boys who have made it their passion to reduce the opposite gender to nothingness. Do you know many "fear women" we would have read on this thread if a lady was the culprit? So tell me, what exactly have you done to fight against rape? Sir, the rape culture is ugly and we can't keep treating the matter with kid gloves. Women are the victims and there's little they can do on their part to stop it. Only men can really put an end to the act and that will only only happen when we start holding each other accountable. But sadly, the men on here are more interested in looking for threads where they can bash women. Some even find ways to blame the victims when these rape stories are shared. And you're telling about some fight against rape. Where exactly is this fight? Dude, Nigeria is becoming unsafe for women and if you're upset that I am pointing that out, that's unfortunate, but what can I do? |
I don't know why it's extremely difficult for us to hold each other accountable as men. We read about these rape issues EVERYDAY and either look the other way or blame the police, the religion or the ethnicity. But at the slightest provocation, we type "fear women", "Nigerian girls are useless", "that gender!", etc. |
tensazangetsu20:It's more popular than Dynamics CE (a CRM application). It is not more popular than Dynamics. Dynamics is a host of business solutions only second to SAP. That's the clarification I was making. |
hustla:You said it's more popular than Dynamics. You may have an idea of what you're saying, no doubt. But to an uninformed, it's a misleading statement. No offense intended. I only wanted to clarify it for the readers' benefit that Salesforce can't be more popular than Dynamics. Sorry. |
hustla:Microsoft Dynamics is not really a single solution. I guess you're referring to Microsoft Dynamics CE formerly known as Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Otherwise, I'd say the Dynamics suite is only second to SAP in terms popularity amongst business solutions. |
Of course, you can. Did you work with an instructor? I am asking cause if you're asking questions like what is Salesforce as a company, where is it used, etc. after acquiring an admin certificate in one of the most widely used CRM in the world, then I'm afraid even your certificate might not take you very far. Don't get me wrong. I am not trying to undermine your efforts. But the Tech industry is skill oriented and from all indications, you need more skills/knowledge than you've gotten. Nevertheless, you're on the right path. It's a business solution. As an admin, you can work in any organization that uses the CRM to manage thier customers or as a consultant in a Salesforce partner organization that deploys the system for other client organizations. **Modified** OP has not acquired the certificate yet. He's still making enquiries. |
shantti:The minimum wage in Toront (Ontario) is $14.35 per hour before tax. If you consider tax, that is slightly less than $2,000 per month (assuming you work 40hrs per week). Considering other things you pay for at the end of the month, the basket worth of $49 (i.e other things you can buy with the money e.g I can get a Kodac Printomatic instant-print camera for that amount) as well as the fact that some hourly earners have limits in terms of hour many hours they can work in a week (talking about students), I'd say it's on the high side. Here, things are considered expensive not just when people can't buy them, but mostly because such items make people live from hand to mouth. People pay house rent monthly, they pay for mobile, internet, transport, insurance, etc. At the end, low income earners might not have enough to save/invest and they'll be forced to buy other essentials on credit. |
HellVictorinho:An interesting take. So it just by chance that more than 90% of the world population is straight? Ok. |
