SmartPolician:If you are aligned with political power play since 1999, you will know that the so called merger is a mere waste of time. It would've worked 100% perfectly during last election. North is a major stake holders in any presidential election in Nigeria, and they will never allow another southerner who may spend another 8 years with 4 years of Tinubu to emerge. Southern politicians too will never accept a Nothern candidate to take over again after just 4 years of southerner as president. The reality is that, North would rather back Tinubu for 4 more years and have what they cherish the most (POWER), than to vote another southerner. If the said merger nominate a Northerner, southern politicians will most likely align with Tinubu. Alot of key players who want power in APC too will back him from the North. We are practically stuck with Tinubu till 2031. Book mark this post, this what is going to happen. |
Enemiesmasquera:You have a state governor, local government chairman, Rep and Senator representing your state or town who should invest more in Agriculture and youths empowerment, but president at far away Abuja is your problem. That is reason these governors and others became looters they are today. They knew alot of youths are educated illiterates, hence their reason to take us for fools. Your state and local governments are the reason you can't make progress, not president. |
No formation can work for Eagle as long as we don't have quality players. These guys are just not good enough, that is all. |
Adenex3051:Lies, nothing like that. |
TimeManager:100% right, I don't take such news serious again especially if it happened in the North. All these kidnappers and terrorists are living among them, and they know everything about them and their lineage, so why is it difficult for them to fish them out. If the North could think of creating hisbba police, why can't they do the same like other regions to tackle crimes in their domain? It is quite obvious that some elements within them don't want this to end, hence their reluctant to do something about it. |
Ekehwinz:Thought October 7th is their Mainnet launch date? Modified! Saw it now that OKX has listed it for Spot trading. This is a massive gift for a new year. |
Nonny95:No no no, that is transition in real term. AD, ACN and now merger APC are all emerged from SDP. They are the same people with the same ideology. Political prostitute is a situation where a politician move from one different parties formed by others to anothers. Tinubu has never done that in his political career. In as much as we all hate APC, these set of thieves calling for merger to wrestle power from them are not any different, they are only after power and not well being of Nigerians. Let us all call for regionalism and stop all this silly ethnic politics. |
GanagiBitrus:Devolution of power to the states won't still work, it will only enriched already corrupted politicians at state levels. Let there be regional government and local governments directly under the control of the former. States are the sources of our backwardness, end states today and see how much progress we will made in 4 years, even with the current constitution. |
josyawuhe:Guy stop wasting people time nah, that link is not working. |
josyawuhe:Not working. |
Being awhile I commented in Romance section . @op, you don't need women for whatever reason except for business or to sleep with. Be focus on your goal , only a weak man chose women as friends. From my years of experience in life, only your mum, wife or some female family members should be consider, others has nothing to offer you than pains. If you are single and need sex, just pick one and do the do without being on losing side to her. Besides, if you don't want women to know you need sex from them or use them for business, then what is the point of relating with them? Women only offer emotional baggage or financial responsibility on male friends, and I hope you realise this someday. |
IVORY2009:Dey play, no one on earth can be 100% trusted with sex and money. The earlier you realise this, the better for you. |
tosinhtml:That is why we must collectively create enabling society where every human will have access to basic needs of humans existence. There is no particular behaviour that is peculiar to poor or rich people. Poor people dislike their conditions, and always strive so hard to be like rich. Rich people on the other hands enjoy the privilege of being rich, and therefore do whatever in their capacity not to be like poor. What we called hatred or arrogance sometimes is a product of conflicting interest between the two social classes. My point is that, people are the same, what make them different is resources in their pocession. A rich man who think a poor man is foolish and aggressive today, can also do the same if he become poor. A poor man who think a rich man is arrogance today can also do the same if he become rich. The most important thing is to have egalitarian society where everyone will have at least access to basic needs, and that is when the rich and the poor will co-exist peacefully. |
iykofias:His kind will not think twice to inflicts pains on his fellow humans but here talking as if he has a single bit of sympathy to his society and country men. If every Nigerian is that good, Nigeria will never be like this. Hypocrites lots. |
VinnyBaba:Exactly 💯, an average Nigerian employee only focus on his/her pay check and not your business or company. Only few employers are wicked to workers that help them improve their income or sales, compare to employees that majority of them are only after their salaries and your downfalls. |
Imagine what 37b can do in the lives of Nigerians. It is quite obvious that politicians at every level of government stole more than national budget in 6 months. |
And that will be easy ride for APC, especially if Obi do not get the same popularity by then. PDP won't even dare it. |
CaptainAyub:Until Seun started giving people like you a very long ban on Nairaland, other tribalists won't learn to approach issues objectively. Are we not suppose to applaud Mr. President decision to sack her for misappropriation of fund meant for social programs? Would you rather praise him for appointing a corrupt person in office just because she is not from his tribe? |
Forumites:100 billions would also build around 35,000 units of two rooms self apartments for 950 families in each 36 states. Nigeria government are too wasteful, and probably has no mental capacity to know the path to development. No sensible government should allocate money to pallatives, schools feeding and religions sponsorship. Let local government do that for God sake. |
abdeefggh:Stop saying what you don't know, Aregbesola is an empty headed leader that ought to be in local market selling meat. What stupid legacy was he talking about? Was it same uniform for all schools in the state? Was it half salary he was paying state workers? Was it irrational Airport projects he wasted billions on? Was it a scam "Opon Imo" tablet project he wasted over 8 billions and yet only about 5% students can access it? Is it a debts that next 5 governors cannot offset? Aregbe is not the kind of character that should head public office, the evidence shows during his tenure as interior minister. Just looks at the achievements and steps this new guy has made in just few months. |
Davidnilla:What really happened, you are not suppose to have BP at that age. Even hereditary ones are usually manifest much later in life. Since your sister also face the same issue, it could be hereditary. Remove your mind totally from anything related to BP, stop worrying about it and start living happily. Don't let them place you on BP drug until you must have tried lifestyle change and the symptoms still keep coming. Finally, stop Googling or looking for what is going on in your body over the Internet, you will only end up in serious BP and depression. Virtually all sicknesses has the same symptoms, approach your doctor or pharmacist for proper medical examination if you feel like something is not right with your body system. |
Davidnilla:130/90 is not high especially if you are over 40. Besides, some are naturally around that range withiout being hypertensive. If you tell people that hypertension can vanish the same way it comes, some will start calling you illiterate. Just embark on lifestyle change and see result yourself. Those that live like a bird don't have hypertension, I hope everyone get the logic. |
naijapips04:Lolz, you will still get to a stage where you realise having your own house when you have the money is an investment in itself. Business can collapse anytime but your house will be there for you. Besides, you can use the house to get a big loan to improve your business. Just get C of O, it won't cost you more than 500k, then any bank would be more than ready to loan you more with good interest rate. |
Jagabanarmy:Lolz, what lesson exactly do you want those hardened criminals to learn about. It is not today that politicians die in office, so this one too won't make any difference. |
cybergawd:He is a wise man, he probably saw what majority of us don't see. It would've been a different ball game if Wike doesn't have federal backing. If he refuse to accept the agreement, they will simply use court to authenticate the position of defected 27 law makers and impeach him. Tunubu and APC want Rivers and Kano by all means, and they can do anything to have it. Fubura is bound to defect to APC before 2027 general election. Tinubu is not the kind of politician you gave federal power withiout knowing how to use it. Expect nothing less than APC and other tiny parties that may not gather a million votes in 2027 general elections. This is not a good sign for our democracy. |
Earthen:None please, just download OPAY or Moniepoint and have a rest of mind. |
BluntCrazeMan:She woke up from sick bed and picked one unknown number that turn out to be Musa who eventually gave her house where she based in Abuja. That is all. |
DaddyFreeze2020:It looks more like Musa buys house for his sidechick but use that channel to cover up. |
Valoromega:Don't mind those who are advising you not to buy anything for your parent and inlaw. This is a season of love, I've personally gives items to 2 widows I knew, my parents, inlaw and my former sale girl. I am not rich but this is what I do every year( though this year gifts were not robust). Since you are not totally broke, you can manage to get them something with just 50k or even less, they will appreciate it than nothing. Country is hard, only a fool will not appreciate little you give, so do what you can afford. |
HenryTimes:Yes, and there is nothing like that here. |
HenryTimes:Which naira is scarce please? All ATM machines and POS agents I checked has cash with them, so where is scarcity? |
