The problem is not only with Ecobank but all Nigeria banks. I keep telling people, if you think Opay, Kuda or Moniepoint are not safe, it means you never had issue with traditional banks before.

About 9k was dubiously deducted from my account, up till now, nothing is done to return the money despite visited them several times. And if you call their customer care representatives, they will say you should visit any of their branches near you.

Ogar, I shop in both local and supermarkets and I can tell you that the supermarkets are sometimes even cheaper than your local stores. Ask anyone around you who shop in supermarkets.

Ok, PM me with your location, if you stay near me, we can go to both supermarkets and local market and see.

Even pharmacies drugs are way more expensive than what you get from normal drugs shops.

I'm not saying there's no price competition in the market but the difference these days is not much. So it will even be better to just add the little difference and get the one with a higher quality.

Oga, super market price is far different to what you get in a normal market or provision shops around.

You can do some practicals by yourself, you will see the big difference he was talking about.

I am in a bit of a fix and need advice on how best to confront this situation .

There is this mama put restaurant besides my house in lagos but separated by a fence.
However the said restaurant is built attached to the fence in the next compound and that makes it awfully close to my windows and they cook with firewood not even charcoal but all manner of firewood.

The owner of the mama-put a yoruba woman ( very hard working ) starts cooking by 6 a.m up till 11 p.m with smokes going up and into the windows of my bedroom ( upstairs) and other rooms in my house making my room very stuffy and causing me to keep shutting all my windows .

Personally I can't stand any form of smoke be it cigarettes or smokes from burning stuffs

With the high cost of fuel I can't keep running Gen to keep my rooms ventilated and power supply is poor in my area .

I have thought of approaching her concerning this matter but from my observation the woman is very harsh n raze and I fear she might not reason with me .

I understand it's her means of livelihood but I am suffering cus of it and all my cloths in my wardrobes are all smelling smoke ... My room has smoke smell as a result of this , it only reduces if I keep my windows shut for weeks .
I hate problems and I avoid conflicts in every way ... But I have been suffering this for long now

Is there any authority I can report to ?

Or is there a better way to make her understand my plight and switch to cooking with gas without appearing like her enemy of progress ?

For the first time ever, I feel like this problem or issue has no solution ( especially with the kind of local women running restaurants). If you report her to police or any authority in change, they will come but she will serve them better food and meats plus good drink to step it down and Continue her fire wood the next day. If you report her the second time, she will bribe the authority with food again, but this time, she will adjust the position of her cooking spot but the smoke won't stop disturbing you.

And if you try to grumble again after the second time, those mamas around and some of her Agbero customers will take it up and frustrate the hell out you in that house. If that still not stop you from complaining, they will approach your house caretaker or landlord to evict you.

Please move out of that place if you can.

the matter has been settled. she came to my house and asked me to forgive and forget. if you read through the pages you will see it. the daughter wanted to come with her friends but the mother refused so the child didn't come to me.

I've kept my distance to a reasonable degree. I only feel uncomfortable for the kids when they come to me and say they're hungry which I can't drive them away.

I still care for the kids but I'm traumatized someway. I don't let them stay long in my house anymore. I help at a distance but still provide periodically cos they're children and shouldn't be hungry. God will bless us all.

You don't actually base on what her child told you, children do lie sometimes, especially the moment they knew you won't give them a particular thing if they don't talk about something.

Try to let her mum know about it and settle it amicably.

This women is not only suffering from physical poverty but poverty of the mind as well. She probably thought 300k is worth more than removing her goiter.

Parliamentary system is a way forward, return the country to regionalism or better still federal government and 774 local governments. The sharing formula should be 80% local governments and 20% federal government.

State government is a waste of resources.

You don't even understand my post, who say alts move with bitcoin? By saying some, I mean very few which I think 90% of investors don't know. SOL, ETH, BNB, LTC.

Crypto market has been seriously manipulated to favour only the big players holding bitcoin. I do not forseen any alts holder making reasonable profit even if bitcoin reach 100k. It was never like this before. Only SOL and handful of others made a serious moves, others are just losing it at wide margins irrespective of bitcoin movement.

If you have big fund, trade only bitcoin and some alts that move with it.

I am sorry to say this, lliteracy is the major problem of current secessionists we have, including Nnamdi Kanu, Igboho, and other members of the groups. Who on earth start fighting government withiout first taking the total leaderships of their regions? Is it not a stupidity to start a journey that 99% of those that matter are not part of?

If I am to fight for secession today, I would firstly put those with the same ideology in all political positions within my region, starting from councilors, upto Governors and national assembly members. It is absolutely impossible for any region to use guns to gain political independence from Federal government, so the earlier these secessionists change their tactics by firstly taking total control of their region politically, the better for them.

No region can achieve independence withiout 100% backing of internal forces.

A smart politician don't fight to the extent of burning all the bridges by attacking the personality of his opponents or state institutions.

This kind of fight could immensely hurt you in future. That is a unique advantage Tinubu had over other politicians in Nigeria. There is no permanent enemies or friends in politic but permanent interests.

God bless you. Just looking at all of them with pity defending those who are only good in criticising government in power but can't follow what they say when they get there.
