Coldspice:Set up a mother of your children when you still have, it doesn't matter if she is good or bad. A real freedom for a man is when his wife can comfortably take charge of his children in his absent. It also give you peace of mind at old age. You can marry more than a wife but make sure you don't subject them and your children to poverty. |
Hotice085:All CBN management and staffs, commercial banks, politicians, elites, big companies, as well as ordinary Nigerians are the real problem of Naira falls. These set of people simply buy at parallel market and sell to BDC. With the way every Tom and Harry now saving and trading dollars, I no see any hope for our currency again. If care is not taking, it might hit 5000 by December. Forgot all their excuses and stories, if they want to totally solve the problem today, they will do it. What is stopping them from creating naira enabling sending app that will automatically exchange naira to dollar. You can send Dollar to Naira account from anywhere in the world but you cant reasonably do the same from Nigeria to anywhere in the world, is that not madness and stupidity on the side of our financial houses? Let every bank create a naira enabling sending app and see BDC die a natural died. |
buygala:His passion and aggression is a good attributes of world class strikers. He will do excellently well in a well structured teams like Man City or Real Madrid. No strikers from Africa origin possessed the same quality at this moment, so he is indeed a Lion of Africa as was called by CAF. |
Empresa:There is no way Angola will score easily with our solid defence. Eagle will beat them 100% guarantee. |
Angelfrost:Do you know why Angola has upper hands in this match? Experience, they are very much experienced than Namibians especially in the AFCON tournament. Nigeria might not played to our expectations during group matches but the fact that they could gathered 7 points by winning two and drew one made them a team to watch out for. Eagle is not that easy to beat when talking about AFCON competition, that is what many of us hardly remember. |
ppogba:I saw one of their matches in group stage, this team is not anywhere better than normal average ranks team in Africa. If eagle beat Cameroon tonight and play them, be rest assure we will be in semi final. Cameroon match is always 50/50 against Nigeria. |
Angelfrost:Lolz, that is how an average team looks like when playing a poor team. If not for Namibia, Angola is not a candidate of quarter final. |
DMerciful:He is not that weak as you think, he simply fought his battle too early withiout good strategies. A smart leader would've waited for his 2nd term to strike and dominate. He would've be friend with presidency too before he start fighting. He should've won the heart of more assembly members, local governments administrators and other key party members before he strike. He should've promise defection to APC before he start fighting. He is simply a leader without wisdom. |
LordIsaac:Exactly, Nigeria will never move forward with this current arrangement, let have 6 regions, if you can't do that, eliminate states and let there be Federal Government and 774 powerful local government administrations. If allocation are coming directly to local governments, there would be tremendous development. |
athaboi:I intentionally ommited that because Nairaland kids are too quick to call you Tinubu supporter whenever you tell them the truths. Nigeria under this government is affecting everyone even the rich, but I can categorically tell you that burglar has been in existence since time immemorial. Burglar is usually a trend in a particular community that die down once the source are fish out and eliminated. This act are usually carried out by area boys and illiterate lazy youth in a community. These burglars are lazy youths that refused to work but want to live large, it has little or nothing to do with Economy. I have withness so many instance even in 90"s , 2000's , etc before now, will you also say Economy effected them then? These guys are thieves by default, they prefer to sleep all day than go to work, even when you promise them good pay. Like I said before, it is trend in that community, and once the people are able to fish them out, the incident will stop immediately. |
ClearFlair:Those in that categories usually apply number 4 and 5 strategies. Burglars don't just operate where one of them don't live, if you check very well, you will disciver that one or some of them are living in that area, so once thay are fish out and chase away, you will never hear such in that community again. |
Burglars are usually area boys or those uneducated jobless boys in the neighbourhood. You need to do one of the following to scare them aways : 1. Get a good Dog or two to monitor your compound while away. 2. Install a cctv and let everyone know you did. They usually have informants who are almost insiders, so the person will warn them not to near your house. 3. Always let someone remain at home to play a music or be watching TV. They rarely attack home they knew the occupants are inside because they know he/she may shout or call the attention of other neighbours through phone call. 4. With the help of other landlords or genuine people, fish out and chase away all area boys and riff raff from your community. 5. You can identify and call their ring leader or leaders of area boys in your community to a meeting. During this gathering, narrate the incident to them and warn them the police have been consulted to kill anyone suspected to involve in such a crime. Assure them that there will be big rewards (flash a bundle of 100k) for anyone who link or provide information leading to arrest of these gangs. You will be surprise how fast the innocent ones among them will fish them out. Once these gangs or Area boys are out, your community will experience peace for a very long time. |
Kokomaster69:The southerners you say, are not always betrayal but usually apply common sense. Imagine threatening a whole presidient with votes as if their region is the only one in Nigeria. If Tinubu fail to return this country back to regionalism, the spirits of our ancestors will not allow him to rest for the remain of his days on earth. He is the only politician alive who can stood up against Notthern hegemony and return this country back to the way it suppose to be( regionalism). |
I rarely buy food except on a very long journey where I won't return the same day. Just look at the quality of soup and ponno with one tiny meat like mosquito head for #600. Honestly you guys patronising bukas dey endure o. |
Humans are sometimes ignorant, what if she got there and still not make it. Nothing worth trading your reputation and peace of mind for in this life. |
EconomistXplain:Lolz, that is not true. Women can only form on Internet, but come to the reality, they married whoever ready and moderately ok. This days, the highest an educated girl can demand for is being equally educated and not what you do. |
Forget, that man know how to play his game. If he can become president amidst serious opposition from presidency, APC chairman and other key stakeholders, I wonder why you think he can fear them now that he is president. I believe he has mission to return the country to regionalism. This country can't work with each section fighting for their interest at the detriment of our common good or goal. He doesn't need North to achieve that, once educated South, their elites and governnors demand for it with presidency backing, there is nothing the core North can do about it. If North doesn'thread carefully, Tinubu could be the last president of Nigeria under presidential system of government. |
Skyller:Very possible. If Egypt is beating tonight, the only best third placed team left is Namibia, which is on the same -3. You can't be sure of remaining 4 groups results. So, all hopes are not lost yet. |
Lovestrong:There are still other 4 best 3rd placed teams to join two group topper in the next round. |
Procashtips:Non of these countries can beat Senegal, they will likely defend the title. |
Like play, ivory Coast could use 3 points to make next round. |
madridguy:Thank God there are still people like you who think like educated person. Alot of youths are so dumb this days, making it easier for these looters to continue their trades. If you tell an average youth that they have little or no business with FG but their states and local governments authorities, you will see them calling you Tinubu supporter. Check my previous comments on political matter, I will keep saying it, governors are the reason we don't move forward in this country. When I was very young, my dad along with other landlord members woukd approach local government, and within a month, they would attend to their needs. Our street roads, drainages and transformer were periodically repaired and changed. Widows and less privileges were well taking care of. Chancellors were representing from each area, and the person is always member of landlords associations or their children. Development are faster, as you can easily approach LG office and lay your complaints. Fast forward to today, you can't even know if LG exist at all. No single Development done by any local government other than issuing marriage, birth and dead certificates. #ENDSTATEGOVERNMENTS # Let us have regional administration and local governments alone. |
DaddyRochie1642:His eyes go clear when the reality of paying household bills and school fees set in. He think taking care of children is a child play. |
Negroid001:God bless you sir. That is the difference between the Caucasians and Africa. The former want good societies where everyone irrespective of social status will succeed, while the later want only himself and his family to be successful, so that others can beg for crumbs from him. I don't blame anyone for this, because our ancestors and forefathers has failed us in this aspect. We are all born into this tradition, and I dont think this generation can overcome the manace. |
BigBlackPreek:This is the major problem of black race. It is a tradition that will make Africa remain underdeveloped till the rest of time. Everyone want to be king for others to follow or beg for crumbs from. In an attempt to achieve this egoistic desire, they becomes greedy, wicked, menace to those around them and the society at large. Instead of him to pray for everyone to be self sufficient, he was busy praying for some to be rich and others to be begging them for foods. He forgot there were somebody colleagues in that congregation too. Can any society develop or move forward with this kind of mentality? |
People underestimate the influence of cultures and traditions on Africans. Africans are born or created that way, and there is nothing anyone born in a woman can do about it. Our cultures from inception gives room for domineering and egotism, which eventually promote greed and inequalities. Besides, leaders are the reflection of society, if you like, blame them till tomorrow, because if you get there too, you will do the same thing you are accusing them of. How many of you can genuinely help your siblings, friends, and other close relatives to be rich like you? A typical Africa man would rather not allow other to be rich in order for them to worship him. If a typical African man cannot help those around him, I wonder what miracle you expect from him to do to a larger society he doesn't relate with. |
Aside South Africa 2013 AFCON in which matches were played on 2010 World Cup stadiums, this is the best facility I have seen in all editions of Africa Cup of nations since 90's. God bless Ivory Coast for making the tournament a credible one. |
GoodStrongDick:Exactly, the match was doomed to be draw but penalty just happened. |
