I just hope it is not the psalm chapters in the Bible?
Because I don’t know how a demonic verse can reside in the word of God There isn't any demonic verse in the Bible only that Bad people use good tools for wicked accomplishments just as good persons use them for good things. In life we are either good or bad |

As soon as they get their greencard they quickly detach from me. As I speak I do not have ONE friend in the whole city. Some friends just need your help, they don't need you. Stay calm. When you're gloriously blessed, they keep coming back. Thank God. At this point of technological advancement you don't need friends so much, now you can have online pals with whom you can meet periodically |

Family › Re: My Husband Wants Us To Relocate To The Village by Ynix(m): 2:31am On Jun 21, 2023 |
momsloved: Good afternoon everyone, pls I urgently need your advice and suggestions on this.
My husband has been out of job since towards the end of last year. Almost the same time I had my second baby. The truth is, the same me nursing my baby has been the same person struggling to provide for the home.
Knowing that he contributed to his lost of job. He goes to work late, different excuses, doing the job anyhow that the management had to fire him. This is the second job he's losing due to carelessness. He wasn't still meeting up with responsibilities even when he had those jobs. He was always complaining of TP expenses, deduction due to late coming, his salaries was not benefiting us.
Our present accomodation of 250k, one bedroom apartment is expiring ending of next month and I don't know how we're going to pay for the rent. The previous rent I have always contributed when I had the money. Presently I have no job. I left my job during delivery, but I'm hoping to start looking for job very soon. Yet, I'm not idle. I'm still trying with little business to cartar for the house.
The issue now is, he has arranged his stuffs preparing to relocate to the village and he wants us to go together because he can't afford to renew the rent. I told him I can't go to the village with him, we are too young to start retiring to the village. What about good school for the children especially my first child? But he has decided to go without us, leaving us with the whole responsibilities. I'm afraid, I can't afford everything here either. But going with him to the village is also very scary. A man who ignore us when there's nothing in the house, waiting for me to fix, how can I trust him and relocate with my two children to his village? I can't speak their language and it's an interior village, How do we survive there? He's not even considering all these. Pls, advice me on what to do. I'm really fed up. It's not a bad idea for you in person if electricity is good. Plan on getting a laptop, try learning some digital skills that are globally relevant, tweak your LinkedIn profile to feature those skills, make good money in USD and from the village return back to the city or travel out. If he doesn't have a plan, look for his soft spot and bank on it for his paradigm shift. 9jaRealist: Financial engineering is not economics nor a substitute thereof… Generally, it’s merely is the use of mathematical equations to solve financial problems.
The position of a central bank GOVERNOR is more than just being a capable banker… It surpasses the weeds of micro banking issues and extends more towards macro POLICY-MAKING! > PS: Btw, there’s absolutely no indication that this dude is engaged in financial engineering. > But financial engineers also work in the Central Banks. Did you read my comment well, to be a central bank governor doesn't need so much, even Che Gavuana was one at a time. Meanwhile the origin of Central Banking proofs that it is more of a padi padi position |
Business › Re: My Barbing Business Is Dying by Ynix(m): 5:59am On Jun 11, 2023 |
Sirchiboy: exactly 2 months now since I birthed this business.
On this day my barbershop was birthed... But we have barely operated for upto a month with hitches here and there.
First it starts with the non availability of professional barbers to run the business, all the barbers are either not interested or cannot give it their 100% when they get the job.
Many are frustrated with the poor patronage which is expected of any business or according to an article I read, they are "jealous" of their employer (still trying to figure this out).
All efforts via advertisement and physical search have proved barren as no barber has the patience to work or they are either no longer interested in a skill they learnt (instead have decided to rock the high-way(Yahoo)).
Well all said and done I want persons to know this and learn a lesson off my experience. Never invest in a business you have no skill (training) about.
As the Rent still counts, I continue to be hopeful Can we talk and strategize around this, chat me up on 08184397113 let's do some brainstorming together |

complexstuffs: Speak for yourself bro because Some Engineers are senators, governors, footballers, pilots, Police officers, Military officers, business men, etc, so it is no one's fault you lack the ability to learn and understand new areas of endeavours. There are many engineers who are chartered accountants and doing well in the accounting sector. What is so special about micro and macro economics for developing economies that an engineer will not study and pass. Isn't Economics far easier than Engineering? Na which school you graduate from sef?
The engineer you are hating with all your stomach has double masters and one of his masters is in administration. He also have over 30 years in the banking sector and rose to the position of deputy director in CBN. Would he have risen to that level if he wasn't good?
Even as we speak, there are engineers in all the sectors of the economy and doing well I am a civil engineer and I know economics like the back of my hands. Engineering graduates have diffused into all sector of the economy. In foreign institution we even now have financial engineering in the same faculty with other engineering like Civil and Mechanical Engineering |

yolada: Nairalanders please help advice me, this is a matter of life and death I don't want to waste this money Let me just go straight to the point
So I have exactly 1 million naira in my bank account and I'll be 22 by 27th of this month (this is not a flex on anybody please) I don't currently have a job, I live in Lagos and with my parents. But a lot of things happening here and I feel like if I don't leave soon, I might just die.
I plan to move to Akwa Ibom state to go and start a new life on my own even though I haven't been there before. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life, I don't smoke. I'm still a virgin, never had sex in my entire life,I don't womanise, I have Zero friends.
So my plan is to move to the state, secure a cheap accommodation like a single room self contain that should not cost anything more than 100-120k a year. After I secure accommodation, I plan on searching for a job that can at least pay the bills. And probably set up a POS business with some of the money that someone else can be running for me. I don't eat too much and I know how to cook.
Now my question is this. Will I be able to survive for some time in the state with that amount of money pending till I get a job? And how much is the average rent for a single room self contain in akwa Ibom?
