al hard. He called me from work the same day in the afternoon and asked me not to go. Well when he came back I tried to look happy and upbeat but later at night when he just said something that pissed me off, I burst out in anger and cried. He apologized and said he has told the lady that he won't contact her again and will not jeopardize our relationship with female friends.

He said he deserves anything I do to him. Now I have forgiven him and I am trying to trust again

This thread is dedicated to male's experience.
I was with my wife that night. I never imagined how harrowing it could be until she started crying. She was just praying all through, I guess that gave me more courage to stay all through. Prior to that time, a nurse was asking me to leave but I insisted on staying (imagine even when I am a veterinary doctor)
I 've never seen her go through much pain in my life. So whenever I remember what happened that night, I tend to keep myself in check when she is naughty,

Not meaning to be disheartening, but I find it VERY hard to believe he sucked her bosom and did NOTHING else!

Men don't work that way Dear. If he or she went to the extent of releasing her bosom I'm of the strong opinion

he released something else as well. Plus you said the woman has confessed to being in love with him.

Be careful, from what I've read on this site she may be one of his other wives!

@Zayhal,

In this case one should observe sujud Ba'ad because when there is confused or either increasing or decreasing on the number of ra'akat by the praying person, Ba'ad is provided to complete and make his Salat to be perfect. Allahu A'alam.

Please could you expantiate what you mean by 'ba'ad' for the sake of those who may not understand it and for further clarification for me too.

Both have boarding facilities.

2. If you have a sister or very close friend who's asking a married man to marry her, tell us your sincere advise to this sister/friend.

FamilyRe: Help, How Do I Cope With A Verbally Abusive Husband by zayhal(f): 9:39pm On Feb 25, 2011
chaircover:
I am going to try and read between the lines here.

First of all there is no reason for a man to beat a woman. It is cowardly and unfair on the woman & he is letting the devil use him and what your husband did is unacceptable.

@poster have you taken a step back to work out why your husband is making such a big fuss about your working? when you were working, Were you coping well juggling family life and work? were his meals on time, were the children getting adequate care, did you have good childcare in place or were you and househelps fighting all the time, was he comfortable with your hours and so on.

One piece of advise I will give you is that you cannot obtain long term success in an argument if you try and go head to head with a man. You may win short term battles but loose in the long run. There are other subtle ways of getting him to your side; so many ways to bell a cat.

First things first is you need to stoop to conquer and try and subtly find out why he doesnt want you to work, If you know his reasons, then you are halfway there & you can present your case. It means that You already have an answer to the jamb question.

Some men dont deal well with their wives being too independent; there are ways round that. Make him feel that you still depend on him. For example ask him for advise on office issues, ask him which shoes to wear with a particular work outfit, leave the car at home one day and ask him to drop you off at work etc. Men can be like kids and you have to learn to massage their egos.

re the witchcraft accusation; deep down in you, you will know if he realy means it in his heart or he is just fighting dirty just to get a reaction from you. That is something that you have to work out and deal with.

Right now, I will say that you put the job issue to the back burner until he himself gets back on his feet.

Your marriage is very important especially now that you have 3 children and I beleive that once you both get over the "it must be done my way" fight and the marriage becomes stable again, then you can re approach the job issue.

My advise may sound like I am on the mans side and asking you to swallow too much to keep the peace but Ogbon gbon ni eyon fin mu okurin.
Trust you wink
IslamRe: Should Muslims Celebrate Valentine's Day by zayhal(f): 9:29pm On Feb 25, 2011
Deen4me:
Valentine Day is a Jahili Roman festival which continued to be celebrated until after the Romans became Christians.

The festival became link with a saint Valentine who was executed on Feb 14 270 CE.

There is no doubt that a lot of immorality is committed during this Jahili festival

Secondly:

It is not permissible for a Muslim to celebrate any of the festivals of the kuffaar, because festivals come under the heading of shar’i issues which are to be based on the sound texts.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Festivals are part of sharee’ah, clear way and rituals of which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way”

[al-Maa’idah 5:48]

“For every nation We have ordained religious ceremonies which they must follow”

[al-Hajj 22:67]

The Standing Committee was asked: Some people celebrate Valentine’s Day on the fourteenth of February every year. They exchange gifts of red roses and wear red clothes and congratulate one another. Some bakeries make red coloured sweets and draw hearts on them, and some stores advertise products that are especially for this day. What is your opinion on the following:

1- Celebrating this day

2- Buying things from the stores on this day

3- Storekeepers who are not celebrating it selling things that may be given as gifts to people who are celebrating it?

They replied:

The clear evidence of the Qur’aan and Sunnah – and the consensus of the early generations of this ummah – indicates that there are only two festivals in Islam: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Any other festivals that have to do with a person, a group, an event or anything else are innovated festivals, which it is not permissible for Muslims to observe, approve of or express joy on those occasions, or to help others to celebrate them in any way, because that is transgressing the sacred limits of Allaah, and whoever transgresses the sacred limits of Allaah has wronged himself. If the fabricated festival is also a festival of the kuffaar, then the sin is even greater, because this is imitating them and it is a kind of taking them as close friends, and Allaah has forbidden the believers to imitate them and take them as close friends in His Holy Book. And it is proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Valentine’s Day comes under this heading because it is an idolatrous Christian festival, so it is not permissible for a Muslim who believes in Allaah and the Last Day to observe it or approve of it or congratulate people on it. Rather he has to ignore it and avoid it, in obedience to Allaah and His Messenger, and so as to keep away from the causes that incur the wrath and punishment of Allaah. It is also haraam for the Muslim to help people to celebrate this or any other haraam festival by supplying any kind of food or drink, or buying or selling or manufacturing or giving or advertising etc., because all of that is cooperating in sin and transgression and is disobedience towards Allaah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Help you one another in Al‑Birr and At‑Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment”

[al-Maa’idah 5:2]

@poster
what u need is 'otapiapia'
kills coackroaches, rats and all insects.
Is not more #50
otapiapia is #30. Yes, it kills cockroaches, no it doesn't kill rats. And even for the cockroaches, it is only a temporary solution because it doesn't get rid of the eggs which will sooner develop into full grown cockroaches.

Fumigation works fine. But you'll do a lot of work too. You'll have to clean out the house properly, especially areas where the cockroaches have laid their eggs, corners, holes etc. I've done fumigation and derrating (rat fumigation) and I can say I have some peace with cockroaches but the rats are back in full force (because my neighbours didn't fumigate and the rats hid in their homes). embarassed

If you're interested in the company that did my fumigation, I'll give you their contact.
