MumuCountry: Na wao. I don’t understand these nigerians.
This coronavirus thing is a global health crisis. Every country is in lockdown. So why are these Nigerians living in Ghana sounding like they are hungry in Ghana because nobody is taking care of them? I am a Ghanaian. I live in Accra with my family. I have not received a dime or any help from the Ghanaian government because I don’t need it.
As they say, all fingers are not the same. So I understand that some people will feel the heat, but I find it embarrassing that a group of Nigerians living in Ghana are crying that they are hungry. Were they not working before? Didn’t they save money for emergencies like this? Why is it that Ghanaians are not crying about hunger in Ghana like Nigerians living in Ghana?
There is food, plenty food, in Ghana today. Those crying hunger are those who don’t have money. It is as simple as that. The Ghanaian Government is trying to help people in need, but I didn’t expect this group of Nigerians in Ghana to come out they way they have come out. It is not good for the image of Nigeria in Ghana. The government of Ghana is trying in this coronavirus era. Thank you sis, the Internet has really exposed how many people reason. I'm a Nigerian and it really baffles me when I see comments and posts of some Nigerians, particularly during this corona period. We cry so much about our government but the truth is most of us are equally if not worse off than the people in power. We complain about everything, whether good or bad and feel entitled to everything like little babies. We cry at home, run out, cry outside. We cry too much but are unwilling to make right our wrongs. |

Talking rubbish He is actually right, this news was meant for one purpose - to cause unnecessary arguments during this time. He didn't die of hunger, he never could have, the picture speaks volume. If I were an investigator, I'd go first for the guy who took the photo and asked why he concluded it was hunger. I'd start from there. |

Punchline33: RIP to the young man. It is obvious hunger was not the only thing responsible for his death because he had been working at the site and probably been paid before today. Yes they get paid daily and must have had some money to buy food. This headline is sensational and the person who made the post is simply chasing clout. Have we considered other factors like performance enhancing drugs? Not that he was unemployed na. RIP once again. Exactly my thoughts immediately I saw the photo. I'm an architect, so the picture seemed self explanatory to me. He's employed( most likely on daily pay) and died while working, why choose hunger as a reason for his death? Yes, people are hungry but why would one choose to use the Internet to spread false info? |

O God, what have we Done to deserve this kind of leaders in Nigeria... Not only leaders, even the citizens are no saint, from grass root to the top are all corrupt...
Who did we offend in Nigeria? Who did our great grand father offend?
God why all these to a supposed n imaginary giant of Africa?
God have mercy...... We are no saint but pls have mercy Bro, what if after all your cries the situation turns out to be true? Kano is not on lock down, Northerners are usually head strong when it comes to obeying laws that has anything that will interfer with worship, they have the population too and lastly the virus spreads super fast. True, we are all corrupt, both leaders and followers but the virus doesn't care about that, the virus has spread globally, and unless we just want to continue living in denial that it's not here, but it is here! think about it. |
Health › Re: I Fall Sick Whenever My Hair Grows, What Could Be The Cause? by zedman1(m): 8:11pm On Apr 15, 2020 |
TalkTalkTwins: Hello guys,
Good day everyone!
I just have a little problem, though it is not a problem except that I like my hair grown... haha! Okay, whenever I let my hair grow to a particular stage, I fall sick. I mean, seriously sick that I can't stand up or walk.
I noticed it first in my 100L in school, since that was the first time I was opportune to let my hair grow so well. The sickness came midnight, and in the morning I rushed to get a cut and got fine without any medication.
The second time, I was in 200L. I got sick and called my mum to tell her I was going to return home for treatment, my hair was grown and I knew she'd complain about it and visited the barber first.
When I reached home same day, no medications, no treatments at all, I became very fine.
In my third year again, I let my hair grow. It was giving me signs that I'd soon get sick, and I ignored it. It came again midnight, and I couldn't sleep. Fever, headaches, stomach pains, legs were aching and I could barely see.
In the morning I rushed to the barber's shop, as early as 6 o'clock. I didn't even let him carve my hair... haha!
He just barbed me, I rushed home and fell on my bed. I didn't lock the doors, no bathing, nothing. When I woke up, the sickness was mysteriously gone.
Now I'm confused because this is so abnormal. I have only heard of people who had dreadlocks, and would get sick whenever they barb them. Why is my own so different? Worst surprise, I'm an identical twin but it doesn't happen to my brother.
Has anyone else had or heard of a similar case? What could be the solution? I have made tons of Google searches and yet no reasonable help at all.
I asked some people and they were telling me to ask my parents. my biological parents are no more around and I don't even know who else to ask...Lol Wow, I thought I was the only one going through that. Mine actually reduced as I grew older. There was a time in my secondary school days when Afro cut was the in thing. I tried as much as possible to join the trend but this same issue wouldn't let me. Though at some point I persisted even with the serious head ache until it just let me wear my Afro in peace lol. After the Afro days, I went back to my low cut and ever since then whenever my hair grows a bit much I start feeling feverish again( though now it gets to a certain height before I start having that feeling, unlike when I was younger when it will not permit me grow as much as now before I start feeling ill). Besides that, I had other issues too that made me sick as a kid like 1. Wearing a cap in the afternoon. 2. Eating 'sunday rice' in the afternoon. 3. Watching more than one movie at a time, particularly in the afternoon. Those days were strange lol. |

Viral diseases have no cure per say, they just fade away eventually. If you go through history others too, even the severe ones, came and phased out. I don't think this one is different. travelland: Good question. No news of which hospital he died. Just his age and death news, nothing else and they expect us to believe it. I won't until more details are given. Why hide the identity of a dead person? You guys want identities released before you believe? Have you been following this thing from when it began, how it spreads and how it has been spreading to other countries before reaching here? Why do you guys think Nigeria's case is false? Would it take someone you know to get infected or even die(God forbid) before you accept it's really here? No one wants it and if everyone had this mentality the spread would have been so massive. |

Meanwhile research into the history and doctrines of the Catholic Church biblically, then you shall know better. Catholic priests can only argue intelligently with gullible people not Bible scholars because they know they will be exposed. I was once like you. I don't believe you, you didn't study with an open mind. You didn't want to know the truth, you just chose to fortify yourself by researching based on what you believe. saintokwuluora: Please read 1 Timothy 4: 1-3. Weak, the Catholic church sees marriage as a sacrament, it is never forbidden, but if you choose not to, then it's fine, besides Jesus Christ and Paul advocatited it. The Catholic church does not forbid any food, as a matter of fact Catholics eat everything including pork and beer . You seem to know little or nothing about history, which the Catholic church has a huge edge over you guys. That passage of the scripture like many others were made for reasons but for lack of knowledge of history, you guys pick lines and quote out of context. There were a group of people at the time who rose up against marriage, both men, women, children(lol) , infant(lol) , infact everyone was not allowed to marry, it was forbidden, a great sin they say it was for one to marry. I don't even remember what they were called again because I purposely chose to stop digging deep into religious stuff since 2012, cos if you do you might end up being fanatical, depressed or an atheist- don't ask me which one I've become . The Catholic church knows a lot that you guys don't know, not just about the Bible they gave to you. I respect Catholics, don't ever argue with a catholic priest, it is just like you're a great great great grand child teaching your ancestors how to walk, just follow what you believe jejely and stop fighting others. I'm serious . |
