she was just telling me that a guy is approaching her for marriage & that she dont like him ,coupled wit the fact that her parents does not approve of the him.

dont u think i showed up at d rit time?.
does she say she is ready or she is being pushed to be ready eg that guy approach and turned him down, lets say she turns down 3 guys in a row will her parents take her decision with 4th guy if she turns him down ? if parents are more traditional they will ask her to marry the 4th guy though she might not be ready in her own time

is she ready from her on will ?

the simple fact is that he's a tyrant and he has to go.

There are no white worshippers here.

This is not animal farm where we have to be scared of the humans (whites in this case) that we would allow Napoleon (Mugabe) to rule forever.

He is a tyrant.

@ROSSIKE, You are simply going through a phase. When you get tired of spouting neo-nationalist comments with little basis in reality you will assess the situation.

No one should raise himself above the interests of his country. I am not just talking about his land reform or other things. I am talking about the whole regime itself.

Any regime that maintains its rule through terror cannot lay any claim to being legitimate.

He needs to go. The white farmers can go to china for all I care but Mugabe still needs to go.

It will be his turn soon once this overwhelmingly young world gets a taste for removing old tyrants.

Africans are still following the S.T.U.P.I.D notion that the West is the sole cause of their problems. If mugabe was so interested in his country's progress then let him leave and allow peace and justice to prevail.

grin

and you are proud of using the american dollar!!! you dont have to say more. you are already sold down the river anyway. You tell us your family has been involved in politics since forever which means your family has been part of the problem too.

you support the forced selling of shares because your family will be the ones corraling it too.
using the US it makes it not fall deeper than it had already did

as for my family well you need to know zim history and its political parties before even mugabe stepped on scene, zanu was born out of another party when mugabe talks he sounds as if that was the only party before and after independence

abit of zanu history

story story. Don't direct me to books. I thought you claimed ''your family'' were knee deep in Zimbabwe politics? The details should be reeling off your keyboard without thought, so why are you posting links to books? Is there nothing in your head?

What do you know about the Lancaster House Agreement of 1979 including Britain's role in it, and its later ramifications for the Zimbabwe crisis, taking into consideration the role of Tony Blair and his sidekick Claire Short in the late 1990s? Discuss these issues if you say you know what the Zimbabwe crisis was about.
i gave you the links now you are nolonger interested but you asked for them

i never disputed what was agreed on lancaster house my dispute is on how mugabe managed the whole land distribution

ask yourself why mugabe 1 minute he says the hell with west the next he says he open to talks, am not saying the west are right but mugabe is wise to know its hard to go against developed countries if you got nothing to bargian with to makes things 50 -50

then both need to be told were they fit in your life and they should respect each other on that position and make it clear that no one is favoured among the two sides and kids should respect adults and adults should also give respect in return

http://commonwealth.sas.ac.uk/libraries/rhodesia/Sanctions.htm

In an article entitled 'Spotlight on Rhodesia' in the Rhodesian newspaper, The Nationalist, on 8 October 1966, a journalist wrote that 'Just about everyone, except Britain, now admits that British sanctions against, Rhodesia have been a failure.' The article claimed that the sanctions had led to a 'boom' for South Africa which had 'stepped-up' its trade with Rhodesia. Trade between the two countries did hugely increase and South Africa's supply of oil to Rhodesia was critical. Enough oil was coming from South Africa to Rhodesia via Beit-Bridge to enable the Smith government to eventually end petrol rationing

Personally I think age shouldn't be a factor. What you should be considering now is "Is she matured enough to handle the responsibilities that comes with being married" and only you can answer this since you know her better than we do.
most of the time age determines your level of thinking, which will contribute to your ability to solve problems

we shouldnt confuse being physically matured and mentally mature

Spare me that CRAP of ''I have lived in Zimbabwe''. That you've lived there doesn't mean you know a DAMNED THING about the political machinations and intrigues involving western powers and their local white (and black) collaborators.

If anything, living there can be a distinct disadvantage in terms of understanding what is going on, because your common sense becomes coloured and distorted by the untoward vagaries of daily existence, such that you end up exculpating those directly responsible for your turmoil -THE WEST- and end up seeking local scapegoats.
do you know my political back ground ? i didnt say i have lived, zimbabwe is my home my family has been in politics before mugabe joined nkomo before the birth of zanu

its the same problem with the guy above, roughly liquid got into your keyboard you can see roughly that it is the same area of E, R, F, 4 and 5 liquid can affect like that

Some of you don't think or research before typing rubbish. Ok tell me, what extent of and manner of economic sanctions were imposed against Ian Smith's govt, SPECIFICALLY?

Was the equivalent of the ZIDERA Act executed against his govt?

Have you heard of the ZIDERA Act? (I won't bother telling you because it is your job to research and learn)

There are various degrees of sanctions. You cannot just say 'they imposed sanctions on a, and imposed sanctions on b, yet a did well'. That is illiterate. Unless you can tell us what specific economic sanctions were imposed on Smith VIS A VIS Mugabe's regime, you cannot compare the two.

Now go and do your research and learn before typing.

More historical illiteracy. ''Easy 3 five year plans'' indeed. Do you even know what was involved in the redictribution agreement signed in 1976 involving Britain and Zimbabwe? How does Britain's reneging on the Lancaster House Agreement reconcile with your ''easy 3 five year plans''? Zimbabwe's ''easy 20 year plan'' failed because of British refusal to abide by the terms of Lancaster by compensating white landowners in an orderly redistribution. So how would that have changed in your ''easy five year plan''?

Some of you kids just need to STFU and let those who KNOW what is going on in Zimbabwe talk. You are only good for airing your brainwashed, white worshipping slave mentality with nothing substantial in terms of real knowledge upstairs.
you cant tell me anything about zim born and raised in zim lived in both times smith and mugabe yourself you have to read most of things about zimbabwe as for me i saw and faced things that your read and what you read it depends with angle of the writer

hello friends. i met my my current girlfriend october last year at a wedding in ekiti.i almost asked her out the day we met and i deciced to caution myself to allow us see in lagos since she stays in lagos also.i asked her out and she said she is not ready for relationship but we could be friends. aside being her friend some times we play so much and we feel free to touch each other but no sex. i feel that will make her yes my request but she still says NO. recently i lied to her that i have a girlfriend now but she still wont let me be. she always want me around whenever she want. i need to move on with my life and i really need serious relationship now.do should i do.
I also have a goal to have serious relationship before my birthday in April.
you are crazy, why well you are setting a date for serious relationship i.e must have one before birthday

a serious relationship will lead its self to be serious with the effort you put both as a couple, have ever thought this, you might go in as serious and the girl would be just taking it as one of those relationships

@ y me, u will live long to see your great great great great great grand children. god bless u.

the thing is that am 28 yrs, i met an angel late last yr , she is just 22yrs & writing her final yr exams. God has started blessing me & i want to run away from temptations ,so i want us to tie the knot later this yr but i ve been scared of her age.
personally i think she still needs time, i.e most african ladies marry young and once married are sort forced to act mature like eg a 35 year old married woman of which she will be just 22 still wild eg discovering herself in being an adult and managing things on her own without parents guiding her etc

i think 27 and above is OK you are more mature than a 22 yr old the way you reason and work things are totally different i think thats the other reason why daughter in law and mum in law always have crushes becoz of maturity of age

though there is no good recipe for these things but sometimes you need to consider such things as maturity of age

I do not have big money but can take care as it is only me I have to be concerned with I have no children. I send him 200 USD each month as he says he can't get a job and need to maintain himself. I believe for the last 6 months or so that he is married or has a GF and told him that, he say No it's only me. I have my doubts about that. Now he is saying that he needs two big amounts of money so that he can come here to the U.S. I love him but I wonder.

its so cool to see nigerians debating about zimbabwe, some know more about zimbabwe some dont they still talk of the dead zim dollar

everyone in zim is using the US$

I cant add or subtract from what is being said becoz i once has debate with some people they had the understanding of zimbabwe from  general speeches of mugabe and than the situation on the ground i.e land distribution it was hurried to him to win back votes from fellow war vets

everything was never planned hence it killed commercial farming and the banking sector

sanctions are excuse the man before him  smith was under sanctions and but zimbabwe was 10 times better than the way it is now, they should go and ask smith from the grave how he managed when he has the same sanctions

right now he is forcing existing companies to sell part of their shares  to local people, yes it is good to impose it on new companies coming to invest to zimbabwe but we should leave the already existing companies. Aslo if the local people can have money to buy those share from the already existing companies why cant they use those monies to start there own companies therefore creating needed jobs since unemployemnt is 80%

the whaole land distribution was rushed for the reason i mentioned mugabe is very educated and wise he has almost 7 degrees, he could have made easy 3 five year plans to distribute land gradually over a period but he has not time for that war vets were up in arms

RomanceRe: Advice Needed by ZIMDRILL(m): 2:16pm On Feb 19, 2011
ptaller:
Please my fellow Nairalanders I need your advice before making a decision.

I started dating a virgin lady last year and ever since then things have really been good between us. I'm based in Lagos while she was doing her N Y S C in Delta state.

The relationship was going fine and she was supposed to complete her N Y S C on 10th of February, but prior to the said date I noticed some changes in her behaviour. Like whenever I tried calling her irrespective the time of the day, her phone is always busy and whenever I ask whom she was talking to, she'll just tell me not to worry that it's just a fiend. It got so bad that I wasn't comfortable with it and start to suspect she was double dating. There was no way I could confirm that and she was beginning to change from her being caring to been careless about me. So I couldn't take it any longer, so I sent her a text that the best thing for us would be to pause the relationship and talk about it when she gets back to Lagos.

That was on Saturday, on Sunday she called to confirm what I said and I said yes that we could talk about it when she returns.

But to my surprise she came to Lagos on Wednesday and didn't even call me, I called her today only for her to tell me that she came back on Wednesday and the way she was talking she wasn't really interested in seeing me again, she was acting as if the Text message message I sent meant we should quit the relationship.

My question is, should I explain the reason why I sent her such text or I should just allow her to be as if seems to me that she's found someone else. I strongly believe that the best way for a man or woman to break his or her own heart is by forcing yourself on somebody. You don't make someone your priority when you are their option.

Do you think she is double dating?

Please be gentle with me.

Thanks and God bless.

Abbey

now we all know its super wrong to beat a woman, no matter what. now thats called wife beating. cos when u finish beating her its your money that will be used to treat her. now what about husband beating, nobody tells these ladies the danger in that. husband beating is defined her when a woman uses her mouth to lash the living day light out of the man. she so forgets that words are powerful once it comes out its out and when you both settle, the words spoken are seeds already growing in the man's heart. so women why do you beat your men?
