Let me tell you why trump wore that mask. He visited an hospital and hospitals here strictly enforce mask wearing. No mask no entrance. I bet you that hospital has a strict mask wearing policy and must have told his presidency that no mask no entrance.

If indeed masks work in hospital settings, why should the president be discouraging people wearing them if not for useless politics.

By the time Trump is done with the U. S they will curse him for generations. I'm waiting for him to withdraw from U. N. Its easy to always blame others for your inadequacies. Up till now America has refused to enforce wearing masks. People are still doing whatever the hell they like and you're asking why the cases are rising?
I never really cared about Trump ko but at this rate if he is giving 4 more years I hope he won't start a world war. He is very erratic and acts without thinking. I wonder how a president can discourage wearing masks when we all know masks help to curb flu like diseases.

Every good leader should know it's not every info the public needs to know esp if it won't benefit them. For example Trump had no business saying Coronavirus is just like a Flu. It's true the Corona is just like a flu virus but it kills more people and spreads more easily. There is also no known cure. His govt had no business saying only sick pple shud wear masks. Up till now some people are still following his words and contacting the disease and passing it on. A careless leader like this should not rule the strongest country in the world.

Trust me in the western world, this guy will go to jail for rape. People that are already looking for how to throw successful black men in jail and term them irrational beasts. The guy is a learner. Saying that they were both drunk won't save him (even if it's true).

However, if we want to look at what is just and fair (not what the the law says) there was no rape here. The lady is just pained the guy didn't reciprocate what she wanted. Classic case of use and dump. But she was also freeloading in his house for 4 months which brings me to conclude that this guy is not sharp and doesn't yet know how things work over there. He should better go and beg her if he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in jail otherwise this immoral lady, yes I said it immoral lady will ruin is life. It's only an olosho that will be involved with other guys while staying in another man's house freeloading for rent and food then come back to claim rape after.

MEN SHOULD AVOID HAVING SEX WITH WOMEN WHO HAVE DRUNK ANY AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL, SAYS BARRISTER
‘Drunken sex rarely ends well’

A criminal barrister says men should not sleep with women who've drank any alcohol - because consent laws are misunderstood by some men.

Cathy McCulloch, who has 34 years of legal experience in sexual assault, advises men not to have sex with women if they’ve had a single drink in a Mail Online article, as this may compromise their capacity to consent.

She wrote: "The law is simple. If a woman has had a drink, and says after sex she did not have the choice, freedom and capacity to consent, the man can be accused of rape. A man being drunk is no defence in law......"

Bros said they they were drunk. And the law said u shouldn't make love to a woman who is drunk cos she might gave you her consent while inebriated.

Case closed. Oga, go and beg. U dug your own grave.
Yeah, yeah. We know the law. Our point is that it doesn't make sense especially when both parties are drunk.

what defines rape is consent or not ? can a drunk woman give consent ? if the man claims he was drunk too, to what extent?
Why is your question reeking of double standard. Can a drunk man also give consent? How are we sure it wasn't the woman that raped him. They were both drunk means they can't both give consent so in my own mind there was no rape. Why must the responsibility of "consent" always fall on the guy? I'm not a breathalyzer to tell you how drunk they both were?
Crime › Re: Dr Olufunmilayo Responds To Bola Aseyan Rape Allegation – We Had Sex Twice by 12inchess: 10:37am On Jul 01, 2020
Why is it that men often get blamed for drunk and unplanned sex especially when the women are not satisfied with the outcome after. The guy can as well say he was drunk and she raped him. At her age, one expects her to have more common sense that you don't go staying in guys house that you're not having anything sexual with for 4 months. He is not your brother or cousin. I know some people here would term me rape apologist but it is what it is.

Many a case sound like when the women don't get what they want they say it's rape. Whereas if they were dating today she will never mention rape. I'm still thinking how you had sex with this guy twice and you're calling it rape. Just say you're not happy how things turned out. Even if the first time was rape, was the second time also rape? Did they tie you to his house? You were probably benefitting from free accommodation.

You sounding like a rascal and really unintelligent. He was a former governor of the state, an immediate one at that. The onus is on the current governor to take the whole burial upon itself. The family isn't to be treated like an outcast or just a nobody. Her family served Oyo state for good 8years and even if shorter. Makinde goofed on this and he's starting to appear power drunk, very unlike he was before getting elected. Too bad.
What about pensioners that served Oyo State govt for over 35 yrs and the ex governor was quoted as saying "don't die here oooo. Can't your kids take care of you" when they came protesting for their pension which is their right. I have no more comments on this matter abeg. She was expecting a state burial for her husband but apparently Makinde Govt no send am. And ofcourse Oyo State citizens no send am as well else they will have come out in mass. Her outbursts looks like grief mixed with other stuff that we may never know about between her family and Makinde.

Can you tell me which of these three that I should mourn him For? Nobody caring is a testament to the fact that your husband was not well received in Oyo State. If he was, regardless of the govt of the day, the people themselves will come out to mourn him.

Summary: Tinubu is simply saying he would withdraw his support of APC if he doesn't have his way. Anyone should know that without Tinubu APC as it's composed now is nothing. What made APC, APC in the first place is the merger between ACN and CPC or ANPP. Northerners can never win election alone. Tinubu can just let APC sink and create another party like he usually does. Or create another party and merge with pdp people sef like saraki etc. Everyone by now should know that party in Nigeria means nothing.

Culture › Re: Oluwo Akanbi Faces Dethronement As Criminal Past Of Deported Monarch Emerges by 12inchess: 5:19pm On Jun 25, 2020
lastpage:
Looking at all the allegatiosn by this Lawyer, it is obvious there is pre-meditated grouse at play.
This Oluwo Akanbi can be removed for so many other MORE IMPORTANT reasons than that he was deported from the US.
For example, he can be removed for being aggressive and beating-up another Monarch in Osun State.

But to try to remove him because he was deported from the US in 1999? That is utter BuuullllSshhhhhhhhiiiiitttt please.
First, he was not an Oba in 1999 and may never even have dreamed of becoming an Oba by then.
If everyone of us got punished for what we did twenty years ago (maybe you stole meat from your Mother's pantry or pot!), then non of us will be deserving of who we are today.
If he committed the offense as an Oba, then fine.

Again, that a black man is deported from the US on immigration grounds is no big deal (Note: he was not convicted and jailed for a criminal offense like wire fraud or Card scams, though l suspect he is a Yahoo-Boy, he was detained and deported for breaking immigration rules, on both attempts).
Many black Americans today, including those "Osun Americans" crying foul, finally got their "stay and paper" regularised, after many attempt, Akanbi was just trying his luck, like all these people
.
Finally, the deposition Papers say that the person arrested/deported was named Segun Adewale Adeonigbagbe
a different name from Oba Akanbi, the similarities notwithstanding. Oluwo will simply claim that the person involved was not him, because he bears a different name and a different date of birth.

If this Lawyer has more evidence, he should present it but l think Oluwo needs to see those who commissioned this Lawyer and SUE THEM for LIBEL and Defamation of Character!
The requests of these people are vexatious at the very least.

To even impunge the story of his estranged, ex-wife into the matter, shows how vexatious these idiots are!
Everyone is entitled to his marital life and l am sure if we dig properly, some of these same people will have a broken marriage, or no be in America? undecided
If Chin Chin Channel feels she has been raped by her husband, she should head to Court and prove her accusations, not to be going about conniving with jobless people, trying to dirty the already battered image of that former Yahoo-boy turned King.
It wont fly because Chin Channel was a gold digger who did not strike gold, afteral. grin grin
I can understand why indigenes of Osun want to depose the Monarch, l dont like him as well but hatred for a person is not part of Justice!

Oba Akanbi, Oba Akanbi, Oba Akanbi, how many times did l call you?
If you dont chnage your ways, your days will be numbered not just on that throne, but in freedom!
There is an adage that says (literally), "If a Drum keeps sounding at an increasingly high note, behold it is about to tear".
Dont let your drum tear! You will remember this annonymous person who defended and advised you.
Thos that have ears, let them hear.
My thoughts exactly. Deportation is not a crime. Now if he was convicted of drug trafficking that is a different case. But he was not.
Education › Re: FG Submits School Reopening Proposal To National Assembly by 12inchess: 10:09am On Jun 24, 2020
One thing we have learnt from Covid 19 is that lock down is not the answer. You should only lock down the as a form of retreat to put things in place to open up more safely in the future. Since they are opening churches, markets, offices etc, they may as well go ahead and open schools, restaurants etc with enforced guidelines. If it will take 3 years to get a vaccine, are they saying everything should be locked down indefinitely for 3 years. What if it takes 10 years. Or no vaccine is ever found? That makes no sense for at all. We cant do more than wash hands, check temp, wear mask and be generally responsible but this indefinite lock down will do nothing but harm more than good. Mask wearing and washing hands can be strictly enforced in schools and in the public to slow the spread. Everywhere in the world that is what they are doing.
