Jobs/VacanciesRe: Ptdf Selection Test by 2good(m): 7:20am On May 15, 2008
There is no scholarship here at all. I was invited twice last year, I declined because of work stress and they still invited me both by mail and call this week. Its just a 2 weeks training organised by ptdf/nnpc.last year there was no test to qualify for the training you just apply and get called for the training. Also, they give you a stipend per week but now they want me to come to write test for something they called me for free twice last year with no stipend.
Anyway, still not interested.
Wish you all the best

@dejimayor
Dont know how people like you think.
What is the problem in opening a new tread for what you want to market.
I'm just trying not be insultive here but its really bad digressing from an issue when you know you cannot contribute.

@ onavae
Sorry it had to end like this after long period of waiting.
For me sha I am yet to hear from them. I call the HR yesterday and was told that they are still doing some considerations and that I will hear from them in atmost 2 weeks time either good or bad but I have nevertheless, put my mind on bad and expect the worst.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by 2good(m): 5:30pm On Feb 08, 2008
Hi guys pls what is this waiting list I'm hearing about? Is it that they will only call from that list if some people fail the medical or they are yet to meet their target? I'm just curious because up to this moment, i have not heard from Shell.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by 2good(m): 5:16pm On Feb 05, 2008
Na wa ooooooooooo,
This one that they have start sending offer letter, i'm being forced to conclude that I didn't make my SRD most likely because up to this point, I have not heard from shell and it not good for my system as I am always in a bad mood all the time and I'm really tired of my banking job.
All thesame, shell or no Shell, life continues.
Congract to all those that made it to edjeba.

@undredog and shezman,
Thanx for the word of encouragement.
I had my shell recruitment day on the 2nd november in edjeba, warri and of the five of us in my gorup, 4 have been contacted with one bad news and 3 goodnews with myself being the only person, not to have been contacted.
Coincidentally, I am the only person in my group that came from Lagos so there ia a posibility that I am to expect good news and underdog has said.
All thesame it has not been easy sleeping and waking up everyday, hoping that I will get a good news from shell.
Wish me and other fellow hpeful a good news from shell
Congract Shezman

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by 2good(m): 5:52pm On Jan 23, 2008
Hi all,
I am in a very tight state because of 5 people in my group,4 people have been contacted except myself.of the four people, 3 people made it and 1 did not.
The people that made it were called at different time. The first got his mail on the 17th, the second got hers on monday, and the third got hers today. The only one that didnt made it got her mail on thursday, 17th last week. I dont understand while shell will be sending mail in batches and giving people unnecessary blood pressure.
Is it that they've contacted all those that didnt made it or they will still send disappointment email?
well i'm still waiting and hoping I get a good mail from Shell

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Recruitment Day [srd] Info by 2good(m): 6:11pm On Nov 19, 2007
Hi guys? any info on SRD for those that did the interview?
Has shell contacted anyone that passed or failed the interview?
will like to get some update from those that know something
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Recruitment Day [srd] Info by 2good(m): 2:19pm On Nov 03, 2007
SRD has moved to Shell Leaning Village EDJEBA in warri, where I had mine yesterday.
All I can say about the exercise is that you should do your best, read as fast as you can and participate actively in the group discussion part.
For the technical part, you are on your own so just know comprehensively about what you're defending.
I presented a non oil & gas related topic and they still asked me very technical questions that are not even related to my presentation.
I learn from one of the HR member that shell is not inviting more than say 200 people as they've concluded Lagos interview where roughly a little bit above 60 people were interviwed.
I wish you guys all the best and hope to see you in Edjeba when SITP kicks off next year.
