BusinessRe: The Entrepreneur's Manual by 2sexy(m):
BoboYekini: if businesses are folding up and downsizing like you say, what then is the point in starting a business? Against these odds?...
Well, i'm all for entreprenuership but not with all these popular choices that everybody seems to be mouthing nowadays, recharge cards, forex, all that generic internet business ish. If everybody get into it, surely the profit margin drops. So, why don't you advise about unusual, obscure, even unpopular businesses? Now that would be refreshing.
sorry to say this but seriously, you don't have the spirit of an entrepreneur. You want someone to spoon-feed you? And you seem to be after an easy route(though not obvious, but I can read between the line) you don't like internet business and that's where majority of you are making a big mistake. What is Google, facebook, yahoo, myspace, twitter, Hi5 all doing only? NA Akara them dey sell abi? Forget all those 'how to make money online blah blah blah' that you see on here. Internet business is way beyond all that.

Thank God I have finally graduated so I will have enough time, before going to my NYSC camp, to educate people here. I just hope that the mod does not delete my thread o o o.

And ummm... I need to get a new mtn modem so tiat can effectively carry out this.

CareerRe: 25,000 Naira Salary As A Banker: Is This Fair? by 2sexy(m): 12:57pm On Jul 25, 2012
tanimola22: Hi,

Where in Nigeria do they offer the highlighted courses? I am impressed to know that these courses can be studied at a naija university. We are improving well!

Anyway, that 25K is too small. It is insultingly less than 200 dollars. That can hardly pay half a full month's rent. You should normally earn in the range of 1.8M-4.0M Naira per annum at any of the reputable asset management firms in Lagos.

Do as Violet has advised. Judiciously submit your CV to any finance and investment house that exists in Lagos and maybe Abuja. In fact, FCSL on 15 Ribadu Road off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi is currently recruiting management trainees. ARM is almost concluding its recruitment of entry level staff. Both companies are in Ikoyi; both companies pay above 2M on the average, per annum. Run there and submit your CV. Even sef, AIMS Asset Management, Investment Research Nigeria (Thaddeus Investment) and even CSL(FCMB investment and brokerage house) are all places you can submit your CV and be called for test before this month ends.

My fear is that you don't have any other selling point besides your impressive academic degrees. Have you ever written an equity research, debt research or economic research report in a professional capacity? If you have, then you may let me see a sample. If I am impressed with your writing skills, I may have your CV forwarded to someone who will favorably or unfavorably review it with the sole aim of hiring you.

T22.
oga T22, me too need job o oo. I believe you remember me from any past thread where we had exchanged conversation. BTW, I wrote my last exam last week Tuesday and I wouldn't mind if you help me with any useful information regarding employments/vacancies. Anyway, I am the PTI student whom you once advice on the Total thread.

horny4u: Na the Naija way be that......and if you think I am lying...check the comments....

Kindness means mumuism and we are complaining about our leaders.
It's true... Most Nigerians equate kindness or niceness to foolishness. I'm talking from experience and I was forced to change that part of me. You have to be a little aggressive to handle certain issues with most Nigerians. Sometimes, it's just as if not being aggressive means that you are not a Nigerian.

For me, I become a little more wild and aggressive when I realise that someone want's to take my gentleness for granted and at that point, my anger knows no bound. Take a look at my profile pic and you understand what I mean. But naturally, that is not me but the society made me change and I hate being fooled or taken for granted.
CareerRe: Help Me! How Can A Fresh Graduate (hnd) Build A Career In Oil And Gas Industry? by 2sexy(op): 10:57am On Jul 25, 2012
AjanleKoko: The first thing is to try and get relevant experience. In your case, that means field experience. It should be prioritized above anything else, including further study. Especially since you have HND, you might want to try to get something with some of the companies doing various services with the oil companies.

Did you do any industrial training? That's always a good starting point. When I left school, my first port of call was the last place I did IT.
Thank you. Concerning the IT, I did mine in a construction company in Benin but I would prefer to say I worked since I could not get a place in an oil firm to do my IT(Beside, I studied Mineral Resource at my ND). So, my neighbour opted to help me out instead of staying at home doing nothing. I was his assistant as I was involved in setting up the levelling instrument and hold of the levelling staff at each change point for foresight and backsight levelling.

BusinessRe: Why Is Gtbank Naira Mastercard Not Working On Facebook & Google Advertisement by 2sexy(m): 7:14am On Jul 25, 2012
broboltz11: What many of us don't know is that inadequate or limited knowledge cannot take you to anywhere. All these credit/debit cards produce here in Nigeria are having problem with many merchant sites like ClickBank, CommissionJunction, Google ads, Facebook ads, eBay, Amazon and many of US, UK and Asian sites. But Thank God there is hope for all Nigerian is bound to make in life in online information marketing, there is a Visa Credit Card still that is acceptable at ClickBank and all other places like Amazon, CommissionJunction, Google adwords, Facebook advertisement, YouTube, eBay, Google video, Yahoo video, Metacafe, Revver and all USA, UK, Asians and other European websites. Which ordinary cards would not do as it carries Nigeria address for its billing country.
The problem of rejection of our ordinary credit card is now conquered by this dedicated financial institution here in Nigeria as it issues you this Visa credit card that is accepted all over the world.
This is not a reload card you get from a website. This is a visa credit card issues to you here by a Bank.
For the channel to obtain the card, even without an initial deposit
Call bro. Toyin. 08036064205.
shut up! If are having problem with GTB mastercard(naira), just walk into Any UBA bank near you and apply for UBA Africard. There are two variation. One is instant which comes without your name and the other one is personalised. The instant is N500 and the personalise cost N750 which takes a week, has your name on it. But if you can goto the UBA Headquarter in Lagos, you will the personalise same day. Yeah... Because they have the machine for inscribing your name on it. All you need is at least N1000,2 passport photograph and national id card, or driver license or travel passport.

THE CARD WORKS ON FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE. You fund it in naira and pay in dollars online. It is far better than GTB naira card.
BusinessRe: Are There Still LEGITIMATE People On Nairaland Aside Scammers? by 2sexy(m): 7:48pm On Jul 24, 2012
Delafruita: such generalisation defeats the purpose for setting up this forum.i admit there are people whose sole aim is to defraud others but your estimate is grossly inaccurate.i have met people here on nairaland and some of those led to business dealings which followed the same course as any other business dealing.those that didnt lead to business relationships created friendships some of which endure till date.
it would do everyone a lot of good if people who make estimates would provide evidence of their "research"
Gbam! You go school.
If I were the mod here? Scammers go tire na... But the mods here no dey try at all.

BusinessRe: What Is The Best Way To Withdraw From Paypal In Nigeria? by 2sexy(m): 6:10am On Jul 24, 2012
DonADESIDA: Withdrawing from Paypal.The surest ways are;
1.To look for someone in Nigeria that uses and need paypal cash.Exchange with Liberty or let him/her pay you in Naira into your bank account.
For example,I do buy paypal cash and pay in Naira or exchange it to LR or AP cash and sell it to e-naira
2.Better still, get a Usa Payoneer Mastercard and attach it to your verified Usa paypal account and you will be able to transfer your cash to your card and collect your cash on any ATM machine all over the world even in Nigeria in naira denomination.
Hope you got these useful?
well, option 2 does not work

Even at that, no one knows how and the method listed so far are neck breaking too stressful. Besides, if I am to use any of those method, then I will have to get a US address which may not have the same address as the one which the bank will send my debit card to and if there non-uniformity in this case, how then can you verify your paypal?
BusinessRe: FG To Stop Rice Importation In 2015 by 2sexy(m): 5:55am On Jul 24, 2012
Billyonaire: Seun we can discuss this all night night. I have proofs to the food contamination by the "Superior Race", you need to start listening to people like Louis Farrakhan. Their intention is based on a policy to reduce or weed out the "inferior races" so the innovative race can dominate for ever. Why in essence do you think America can risk all resources to protect Israelites.

Going back to local production of food. Seun, think deeply the implication of this: Should Nigeria become a Lybia or Syria, or even a North Korean and there is Trade Embargo or Economic Sanction against Nigeria, hunger go kill you within3 weeks since you depend 100% on importation of common thing like food. Anyway, I no go mind to see grown up man like you holding plastic plate stand for line fighting to collect food from RED CROSS if you insist on importation. Nigeria needs to go back to the "Operation Feed the Nation" days. Indonesia and Malaysia borrow palm kernel from this country now free oil money has killed agriculture, all man wan dey inside oil/gas and IT and some are becoming celebrities. Agriculture is crying and bushes are turning to forests.

Seun, let me remind you that if the several billions of dollars put into importation was used to buy locally grown food, by now, I sure say u for throw your laptop away and become a CoCoa farmer and I would have thrown my tankers away and become fertilizer manufacturer. We need to grow up. if not, we stand the fail as a nation tomorrow. If we cant grow our own food, we will face famine tomorrow. Mark my words.
and who told you that this will ever come to pass? Why people easily decieved in Nigeria? What do gain you from deceptive acts of devil's incarnates?
Hasn't the death of people taught anyone of you a lesson? Is the blood spilled not enough? Whoever wishes Nigeria bad or plot evil in any form against the masses will have his lineage and generation suffer. There will be no peace in his or her lineage.

Importation ban my foot. Why not start something and let us see with our eyes. In Benin City, Action speak for the government and not the mouth of the Government. Must you announce everything before action? Is this not the same bas.tar.d that promised 3 new refineries at the inception of his reign and where are the refineries today? Ooh I see. It's now 6 refineries in partnership with a US firm. A few months from now it would be 9refineries and yet people applaud this lousy devils. Whoever is supporting this so call FG,no matter how small will have the devil and evil visit his house and that goes to anyone who does not wish this country well.
God will punish them all.

And if you are already dancing in praise and worshipping FG for this fit, you are the most foolish person on earth. No wonder this country is doomed because people easily get excited over never-come-to-pass news.

That one na excuse. I am a member of an international business for with population larger than NL, yet you don't see this nonsense.

It is either the mods don't know the duty of moderator or are in support of the scammers or they don't care about you.

How many people have successfully withdraw their paypal money?

A lot of people will tell you to how open a paypal account in Nigeria but the sad truth is that you can not withdraw that money from paypal.

However, I would like to know if there is anybody who would like me to help them withdraw their paypal fund in CASH and not the usual way of selling it to someone...

So is anybody interested?
