Its about 2.6 million on the average for the 2nd gen acura and 1 million for the 1st gen acura MDX. Go to autos section, them full there.

Check the CVT fluid in that gearbox o. If you can, drain and refil. The engine in that car na die-hard. The auto, not so. Don't try owerri to Onitsha as mentioned by a poster below me. The section after the rivers state boundary into owerri is horrible. I fell into a pot gee pee tank hole before control round about that nearly swallowed my car whole.
Just follow warri route. Its better and faster.

You didn't get the message. Its better to go to a driving school. There, you will learn road rules, learn how to interpreted road signs and generally be a better driver. If your friend drives like a danfo driver, he will probably teach you to drive like one and we will continue to have the carnage we have on our roads.
Try a driving school with a friend probably to help you master the art of driving after you have learnt the basics. And you also avoid bashing his car while learning.

The corola usually comes in 1.8 liter engine as well as the beamer. The corolla edges it in terms of real life mpg. People ho drive beamers don't help themselves too as they are often tempted to rev the engine which doesn't help their mpg. Its a beamer after all.

Yeah, I've seen MDXs here doing 12mpg. Same as yours, no CEL, no issues. Completely astonishing.

Lol. As if you looked at my mpg. Been at 12 all week. Down to 11.5 now after SME traffic yesterday.
Coming from a city and Skoda that does 25 mpg comfortably, it is quite shocking.

In plain terms, he corolla can manage your regular 20w50, your beamer will eventually grenade.
Your corrola can tolerate one or two overheating episodes after your kazeem has wired your fan direct and your relay burnt out, your beamer will warp its top and toast the gasket.
You won't get much suspension issues with the e46 beamer though, its built like a tank. The corola is also sturdy but can't withstand potholes as well as the beamer.
The beamer is rear wheel and with an almost 50/50 weight balance can get you out of tight situations if you are a bit skilled in driving, the corola will plow into anything its facing as soon as it loses its grip on the road.
Beamer parts are cheaper. Corola parts not so. The corola na thief magnet. No one would go near your beamer. The choice is yours.
If you use the right oil and filter and avoid crazy rewires, the beamer will be okay for you.
If you are going to skimp on any of the above, go for the corolla.

It won't go easy on your wallet into terms of cost of fuelling. If aunty radu can complain of the rdx used in the USA where premium fuel is available, the MDX will suck you dry in Nigeria where you may never get premium fuel. My mdx mpg sucks badly. No check engine, no mechanical or electrical issues. Its just in their nature.

If I was an FRSC/police official, I'd arrest anyone driving with this senseless contraption on their steering wheel.

Op, read your car manual and show me where the car manufacturer recommended warming of car and for how long. Thanks

Your fuel line is leaking and allowing air in somewhere. Check all your connections. Retighten all. That's the only reason it happens after standing idle for a day or two. Its got nothing to do with your glow plugs or compression.

The customs guys will actually help you undervalue the car if you cooperate, but when it hits the road, the guys on the road will compute for you the actual fee you were supposed to pay. Like my Oga at the top said, when stopped give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. If you want to prove to them that you paid in full, they may decide to make you pay in full and it won't be cheap.

Lagos - Abakaliki, Abakaliki to pH. Didn't bother measuring the distance. Roughly 1200 km. Journey was hell on the Abakaliki to pH section. The roads were terrible in the abia state section. Went through owerri and it wasn't any better.

I just hope it's not the beginning of bigger problems. If you cut corners on the fixing of that volks, you will regret ever buying it. Scan is a must and use a competent mechanic.

Don’t mind those hungry road safety guys. What the laws says when I stumbled on it at their website is driving without windscreen or a shattered windscreen. Their is a whole lot of difference between cracked and shattered windscreen. So I have armed myself with it. Am a frequent traveller and have a cracked windscreen. So I will advise you do same. They may likely stop you, but if you produce that document they will definitely let you go. It is from their website and it list all the offences and fines.

As long as the crck does not impair your vision, you shouldn't be arrested or fined but "this is Nigeria". The highway code drafted by the FRSC only mentions " "shattered windscreen". It doesn't mention cracked windscreen. However, these unscrupulous fellows sanctioned by the government to keep us safe on the road will decide to " intentionally" misinterpret their own codes and issue fines or effect arrest just because they can. Imagine them setting up mobile courts on a federal road just because they can.

Can't post pictures but when I opened my Octavia valve cover, even the mechanic that came to inspect the injectors was astonished at how clean the internal of my engine was. My Camry was same when I changed timing chain. Never opened the Honda city but looking through the oil fill hole, it looks spotless. I've also seen some friends engine internals especially when changing valve cover oil seal and even the ones running mineral oil don't have it this bad. This person has been skipping oil changes.

Load. An excessively loaded car (commercial bus) will struggle given the number of passengers and cargo it is conveying.
Gearing. In an auto trans car, the car will choose the appropriate gear to climb the hill assuming its in good conditin and all the horses in the engine are neighing well enough.
In a manual trans, if you like have a v10 under your hood, if you don't drop to the appropriate gear, a Hyundai I10 go pass u.

Owner is either not aware of the vehicle oci or is being economical with the truth. There is no way a vehicle serviced with synthetic oil will end up like this. Except maybe the synthetic oil he has been using is adulterated.
