mgbadike81:Your village people are planning you. |
HeavenlyBang:That's almost same with the TL. It runs on premium fuel and in the absence of premium fuel it guzzles fuel. I cover roughly 900 miles a month on the mdx (similar drive train with the TL). My mpg and that of a friend who drives the TL are same. So I assume our fuel expense within a month for same distance drive will be same. That being said, the TL (shawd) looks better and handles better that than the g35. |
Smartchoiice:You are the ones living in a bubble. You don't even know your cars. Unfortunately. And one of you races those who aren't even racing with him. On a straight line, no c320 will beat big for nothing v6 Camry (both in the same mechanical state) in a 0-60 sprint. Take that to the bank. Don't even bring Honda or Nissan to the mix. It will be too embarrassing. Enjoy your Benz peacefully. Like I said leave the sprinting and stunting to the jap shitboxes. ![]() |
banky3w:Sorry about the demise of your dad bro. May his soul rest in peace. |
That's what he said. That's not what he told me in private. He only complained about the handling. Yeah, the es350 is a bit ungainly. But it doesn't float around. But he was impressed with the acceleration. He saw the clear difference between his c180 and the es350. Like night and day. I don't ever see a regular Benz in my rear view and miss a beat. Pfft. A beemer? Now, that's a cause for concern. |
kingemzy5:True that |
If I have to answer this question, op will have to pay me whatever he has paid out as school fees to date. This question is just to start another mindless and debasing Toyota versus Mercedes argument. But let the comments continue. Maybe it will get to front page and we will be blessed with some wonderful scientific answers. ![]() |
HeavenlyBang:Hahahaha. I tell you. |
kingreign:Lol. Just wanted to scare him. I've included that v6 in my last post. I have massive respect for that car. It "drives". |
shortgun:You should have taken up the challenge. Put your money where your mouth is. That c320 is a slow boat. I remember when Nwaneni bought the diesel c class and was raving to take out all the jap shitboxes with it. I simply showed him the 0-60 stat and he calmed down. He has bought a Lexus and seen what it feels like to put the hammer down. Unless you drive an AMG Benz, you are driving a cruiser and not a sprinter. Leave the sprints and stunting to bimmer and the jap "shitboxes". No think say because you beat one I'll maintained "20w50" serviced Camry fitted with 10 pin gear instead of the original 13 pin gear, you go think say u Don arrive. The day a determined guy in a v6 Honda accord go jam u for road, e go disgrace you wella. I don't support road racing though. Too many risks and lives involved |
The c320 does 0-60 in 7 seconds and you call that fast? Danny even you? Acura tlx shawd does same in 5.5 seconds and you really want to go head to head with it with a c320? You people shod stop embarrassing Benz abeg. It wasn't designed for such sprints. It's an elegant car built for cruise and comfort. Not for sprints. If you want a quick German, look towards the bimmer. Even the AMG tuned benzes have trouble catching up with Japanese tuners.

HeavenlyBang:Hahahaha. Even me self. I for go borrow my cousin 2010 acura comot this guy pant. |
Ever seen the way these hearses "ambulance" drive when conveying a corpse? You'd think they were conveying a comatose patient to an emergency surgery with 50surgeons awaiting their arrival. A journey that should be a procession will unfortunately look like a James Bond getaway scene. I wasn't there to see what happened but maybe just maybe, this hearse squeezed into the front a the traffic while approaching the check point and stepped on his brakes. You will agree with me that the stopping distance of a semi isn't particularly impressive. After all efforts to stop like Hamilton's Mercedes f1 fails, the tanker clips the hearse and ends up veering into the bush. That's a scenario I have envisaged. The reporter could have done better with the story. Word of advice to other road users, never stop suddenly at a check point, pothole or intersection in front of a truck. It might not stop like you did. The driver might even be asleep after driving all night from sokoto to Onitsha. if at a check point, watch them from your rear mirror and clear from the road for them. Provide an alternative means of escape for yourself. Be alert. |
Change your starter. Has same issue on Honda city. Changed battery, same thing. Changed starter and issue disappeared. Tot it was fuel pump but the mechanic told me that if it's not the starter. I shouldn't pay for the parts and the labour. ![]() |
Eddee:I don't feel the fuel gauge move. I actually see it move. ![]() |
radautoworks:FUNKE!!!!! |
kingreign:Had a similar episode. Same corolla. This time the 2011 model. Guy had a death wish. From ph to warri, this guy refused to budge. Even at speeds exceeding 170. I'd see him as soon as I slow down at any check point. He took bends like he was insane. Couldn't keep up with him on the bends after he passed. Those corollas are nimble and fast. Damn. On a straight line, I kept him in check but not at the bends. I let him be though as I have family waiting back home. Not worth the hassle. ![]() |
Smartchoiice:Well, easier to find a well built Lexus than a well built Mercedes. ![]() |
homeboy205:Very sturdy engine except the 03/04 batch that experience the stripped head bolt. The major killer is the ubiquitous 20w50 Nigerians pour down the oil fill hole. It can kill just about any modern engine. And of course with Camry being a choice car for most low income and middle class who patronise the 20w50, failures are bound to be common |
radautoworks:Me, I'm waiting for the oiltober prophecy. Need me some transmission oil. ![]() |
TRYGO:Will ask him. He isn't in Nigeria at the moment though. Even me dey eye the ride self. Lol |
wane01:Bia enyia, this is car talk and not romance or politics section. If you don't know anything about cars, observe and learn. Infiniti is the luxury arm of Nissan and will not make alloy rim an option on their top of the range cuv. Be guided. There's an fx35 wasting away in my compound and it has a massive 20inch rim. They come as standard. Be guided. |
LORDKing001:Trash. |
Eddee:Noticed same too. Was unmanned yesterday. Lol. Nothing man no go see. |
Eddee:I agree with you. They should all the disbanded and monies used for their expenditure channeled towards better things. They are more of a nuisance than an asset to this struggling nation. |
AfroBeatDiary:First things first, they were right to fine you for not wearing your seat belt. It's the law. Now that it is out of the way, they were wrong to allow other erring motorists go free. FRSC shouldn't even exist if you ask me. They are duplicating the functions of the police. They are a drain on the nations resources. Their salaries and overhead could have gone a long way in fixing a lot of roads in Nigeria. Let the police do their jobs and make the roads safer. They could be absorbed into the npf and streamlined to be more effective. It is an aberration to find them on our roads checking fire extinguishers and spare tires. That's gross abuse of the nations scarce resources. |
Buhari has finished his first tenure and this road is still like this. He is in his second tenure and not much has been done. The enugu anambra old road is going bad. Soon there will be no alternative. Change indeed. |
Felicity001:And over time, it has gradually killed your transmission. New transmission loading. |
Eddee: . She said car, not cars. This man self. Sense weE not kee You. |
uboma:When people say no issue, I laugh. He probably won't tell anyone how many batteries he has bought in five years. How many fans he has bought in five years. How poor his mpg is. How the car smokes each time he accelerates. How he sees the steam coming out of other people's tail pipes as a tall dream. Yeah, his car has no issues. ![]() |
