What are the names of the experts? This is a topic I wrote my dissertation on back in 2012 so I'm well familiar with the research, if you can look at some of the researchers from 1990 onwards, you'll see that over 70% of researchers out there are of the view that genetics plays a much bigger role in shaping sexuality than any other factor. Whether I agree or disagree with them is another debate in itself

By people do you mean the experts? Because like I've just explained previously, most of the researchers support this argument that they were born that way. Nothing they did or were exposed to in this world contributed to it. It seems like you disagree with this analysis and if that's the case I am very happy to hear that!

The premise of all supporters of homosexuality is that they were born that way and there was nothing they could have done to change it, this is the argument made by many famous researchers. This is why conversion therapy is banned in most advanced countries.

It is allowed to lick sugar if that's what would make una happy but sensible people would ask, where was the poll conducted? What was the sample size and margin of error? In case most of you don't know, Bloomberg, CNN etc have opinion piece sections where opinions rather than facts are presented, anybody can contact one of the authors for a publication if you can pay the amount

Weak physical and/or mental state are the reasons for suicide. When the mind feels there's no way forward, feeling stuck and hopeless. The inability to think beyond oneself, the inability to see the bigger picture. Look at the things people commit suicide for:

1. Shame(dirty secrets, addiction etc)
2. Lack of Money(Debt)
3. Disease
4. Heartbreak
5. bullying

90% of these things will resolve itself yet the trauma or the impending trauma is what makes people take the easy way out, perhaps if we lived in societies where these things did not cause much stigma, perhaps people wouldn't need to go to extremes, either way.....His watch is over!

I live in the USA and most of the research shows that homosexuality has increased by over 300% since the 1970s, research also shows the likelihood of a a kid who was adopted by gay parents to be homosexual is also more than one who was adopted by heterosexual couples https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20642872/. A federal high court order was obtained for partial destruction I know. That's not supposed to be. You and I know the manner at which politicians seek court orders in this country to have their way. The judicial system needs to be sanitized but we will get there.

In my conclusion, it's a very wrong move. The criminals needed to be arraigned first so, why act in a hurry for destruction of illegal drugs? Will the drugs run away from the siege of armed personnel that are supposed to guard the site till the end of the case? In the case of auctioning you cited, the court must have ended the case and declared judgement before auctioning, not before arraignment. Have the arrested ikorodu criminals been tried? No. Has the court ruled in their case? No! Why rush to burn exhibits? Auctioning can only take place after the case on the subject matter had been concluded, not even before the arraignment or during course proceedings.

There are powerful politicians behind this ikorodu mess no doubt and that's the reason for the hasty destruction and running to court to obtain an order. I don't know why criminal justice in Nigeria is always tackled this way, especially when some big shuts are involved. There are thousands of poor Nigerians in prison and awaiting trials for decades. Some of them are even innocent but because they're nobody, they keep them in prison perpetually.

I hope this case is critically handled and justice is done. I see a foulplay in the whole arrangement.

Did you analyze this from your own understanding or from what the law permits? Ask yourself these simple questions: Was it legal? Did they violate any laws? When it comes to controlled substances, could it pose a threat to others by keeping it? Such large quantity in a country where evidence are known to be missing or sold, wouldn't it be prudent to digitize the evidence and destroy most of it physically? Last time I checked, video evidence is still allowed. Even abroad like USA, such large quantities are not kept beyond a certain point and that is a country with strong ethics o, in 9ja, we fit hear say snake don swallow the coke

If they are not living in the same state then he can't reasonably expect that one month of not seeing is equivalent to full neglect, we have people that go for youth service, company assignments etc so I believe proximity plays a role. Furthermore, communication matters, you can't just ignore your partner or give excuses like I'm tired for 4 weeks straight, a better response would be a compromise, I can't see you now but I promise we'll see on the week of so so so, at least give the guy hope

Are you perfect in your relationship? Isn't a relationship two imperfect people trying to love each other perfectly? I don't know how una dey reason but if two people dey the same state and one of them is giving excuses not to see the other every week in a month then it is only natural to feel undervalued, like I said before if we flipped the situation and it was the girl that reacted this way, most of una go still blame the guy saying he's selfish.

Majority of people are immature or do some things that are childish in their relationship, we are talking about emotions here but ask yourself if it was the guy working and the lady struggling for attention, would we be this critical of the girl? I personally, for two years that I started working again after a long time . I still find it difficult to go out on weekends . All I want to do on days am off duty is sleep and do my domestic work and sleep again.

Yes he could be more patient but in my experience this is just initial gra gra, he might just be looking for her reaction, now if she replies and say that she agrees to end the relationship, at least now he knows where he stand and can move on with his life. Jakande Gowon Shagari did not have to deal with over population, it is easy to care for 1 million people but when it gets to 15 million and above, it's time to start sweating especially when the federal government does not give a flip about state governments and state government does not give a flip about local governments.
