eldoradoxx:Na only Tinubu supported Buhari? What of the rest? What of Obi that aligned himself with Atiku less than 4 years ago? Abeg human beings are flawed so if that is your nail on the coffin please find another angle. I'm not saying vote or don't vote for BAT but that intellectual angle is dead on arrival! Yeye dey smell, so you can condemn BAT for giving us Buhari but adore Osibanjo even tho he is the VP under Buhari? I've heard it all now, DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING? ![]() |
eldoradoxx:Intellectually outdated? You mean he has lost his abilities to appoint credible and actionable minds to the most crucial positions in the nation? Think of OBJ, was it his intellect that ran the country or his ability to appoint people with great IQ? You think Tinubu has lost his mind and all of a sudden cannot empower people like fashola, Fowler etc to run the country? Next, if you say he is frail, do you have access to his medical records? For all we know he could be diabetic, according to him he had knee operation in the UK, nothing life threatening so far, at least use fact when criticizing the man not sentiments. Finally, NYC is classified as one of the most unlivable cities in the world, yet people continue to migrate there, when it comes to 9ja, no other city can come close to Lagos in terms of prosperity and vibrance. The problem with Lagos is small size and over population, reduce the population by 50% and watch many of the problems disappear! Tinubu is no saint but to undervalue his achievements is pure NONSENSE! V.I./Lekki/Ajah would still be farmland if not for him, that region alone is responsible for 30% of the revenue Lagos generated for the past 15 years, let's leave sentiments out of this, vote or don't vote for him that's your right but don't spread falsehood! |
Foolishbuhari:Neither will Obi and you can put that on Mary had a little lamb ![]() |
Yorubalandlord:If GEJ had performed well, many would not have voted for Buhari....We keep looking at symptoms rather than root cause. You're still mentioning Obi, his path to victory simply does not exist. I'm saying this not because he's a bad candidate but becuase he did not put in the work to form proper structure. Nobody in the grassroot know him papa for SW, it is even worse in the North. Outside of social media, he's persona non grata, the marketwomen, the traders, the herders, aka the people who actually vote are still going to vote based on party, this was clear with the recent election in Osun and it will be very clear in February as well. |
Yorubalandlord:Yes there are many things wrong with that! Why vote for a candidate you know has no chance of winning? E be like say to waste your vote dey hungry you? Obi cannot win without the North, there's no way he's competing with Tinubu in the SW so what is the game plan? |
Yorubalandlord:So your alternative is to vote for Fulani man, as a good Christian that would be your only option because even the rats on the streets know that Obi is going nowhere.......So as a good Yoruba Christian, if na hijab dey make you vex, prepare to be even more outraged when the Fulani continues ruling......Wonderful ![]() |
ElSudani:In public spaces there's no reasonable expectation of privacy, the courts already established that in the 1990s. |
Venerable612:Bullshit.....No such right in the USA! As long as you're a public figure you will be filmed or recorded, it's called the paparazi loophole. As long as it is in public space, it is allowed. |
Framel:I can see that your mom and pop failed to raise you properly, perhaps you should travel out of 9ja and see how prison inmates are being reformed through physical and mental programs....Error, mistake, sin, I don't care what it's called...Any human can commit any crime and they should face the consequences and afterwards repent and seek forgiveness. Even those serving life imprisonment are being rehabilitated, so who the f*ck are you to say otherwise? Abeg GTFO!
|
Intellectuall01:Wait till you meet akata women or Latino women, you'll be lucky if she does not chop off your preek ![]() |
Framel:Yes it can be a mistake, just like murder and drug abuse or drunk driving leading to death. All the religions preach about forgiveness, so if God forgives why can't humans? Ijesha will serve his punishment but after that let nobody ask for his head, humans are flawed, only God is perfection! |
butterfly777:YES in almost every aspect politically! When it comes to vision, ability to stand up to bullies, ability to make deals and strategically put the right people in the right places, Tinubu is far far superior! |
People wey dey lick sugar dey claim happiness.....Someone writing from Benin City is speaking for the North, NO BE JUJU BE THAT?
|
No woman is worth such reaction, instead of him to thank God for exposing the enemies around him, guy man blew up with rage. Now he'll end up in jail or dead while the woman moves on to the next preek. Simple lesson for all men out there, whenever you are so outraged and thinking of violence/revenge, just think of all the fresh kpekus you would be missing out on while locked up or dead ![]()

SIRTee15:But have you actually done proper research using a proper sample size. There are over 500,000 9ja born individuals in the USA, percentage of those making 100,000 or more per year is less than 10%. It's even worse in the UK, what you didn't factor in was that most people who travel from 9ja to USA/UK do so as visitors then spend years trying to get proper documentation to start a career. Most do so in about 3-7 years and even at that they won't smell that 100k per year benchmark. Everyone is entitled to chase greener frontiers but doing so with a realisitc mindset would make the journey much more easier. Part of being realistic is knowing that even if you're making 100k per year in the USA, your take home pay might actually be less than 75k, then your bills starts playing WHOT, pick 3, general market and so on......For America here it still amazes me that a surgeon could go broke even tho he makes over 400k per year, I did not understand until I saw the enormous bills these people put upon their heads.....OMO! |
NessFortunate:Do you think you're dealing with a novice or a child in Nigerian politics? The man has done his analysis SWOT and whatever, he knows that his chances with a strong Muslim Northerner is stronger than any Northern Christian. BAT is playing against Atiku, every other thing he's not concerned about. Whomever controls the North wins this election. When una remove sentiments and focus strictly on facts, una go see say he made the best choice he could given the alternative. It's not clean but the votes he could lose now is far less than what he stand on losing with a Northern Christian VP and a Christian wife. The North will always protect Northern interest, KNOW THIS AND KNOW PEACE! |
PoliteActivist:Best option to me means facing reality. What's the use of a best option that would never get to the promise land? Anyways it's okay to lick sugar, if there's anything I've learned from Buhari, THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR MORE DISAPPOINTMENTS ![]() |
PoliteActivist:It does not matter if Obi is the best candidate, what matters most importantly are the voters. Obi is popular with social media and perhaps the SE/SS, outside of those he's persona non grata. He's not going to get 15% of votes in the North, he's not going to get 20% of votes in the SW so how do you realistically see him as the best option? Make we set sentiments aside, elections are won by raw numbers, who can pull the most votes. Nigeria has proven that the more educated you are the less likely you're going to stand in line 3-4 hours to vote. This is why Tinubu ansd Atiku concentrate more on the ground game. If I was a betting man, I'll place my chips on the guy with the best grassroot machine. |
PoliteActivist:Want to hear the shocker? He might actually be the best candidate to change Nigeria for the better.......The most dangerous person is one that people do not see as good or effecvtive, what does he have to lose? Nigeria is a cancer, it takes a rugged and sharp person to do anything meaningful......Anyway we slice am, we have 3 choices, Obi who won't even get 20% of the votes, Atiku a known mad man with nothing to offer but revenge for being schemed out of the rpesidency by OBJ and Tinubu a morally corrupt individual who is feared both in the North and South. Let's set sentiments aside, all the options are BAD, so pick your poison wisely! |
cococandy:The law limits the effectiveness of circumstantial evidence. CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE – FORCE OF IN CRIMINAL CASES – The circumstances relied upon must lead conclusively and indisputably to the guilt of the person accused – STATE V EDEBOR 1975 9 – 11 S.C. 69; STEPHEN UKORAH V STATE 1980 1 – 2 S.C 116; MOHAMMED BELLO V THE STATE 1994 5 NWLR 177 AKPAN V STATE 2001 90 LRCN 2849. You're still missing the point, all the evidence obtained were circumstantial and if his lawyers could create doubt to the legitimacy or the credibility of the accuser then the court at the bare minimum might not have ruled so harshly. Again I ask that you leave sentiments out of this and focus strictly on legality based on evidence below: 1. CCTV shows zero sexual intercourse, it shows him sucking on her fingers, what else? 2. The confession under duress If these are what you called a slam dunk case then I don't know what to say. Remember it is not about who is guilty or innocent, it is about what can or cannot be proven, again I'm not saying he's innocent, I'm saying his lawyer did a terrible job! |
PoliteActivist:Country people wey never outrage over security, unemployment, electricty.....Shey na court cases we go dey para about? Abeg wahala no dey finish, talk is cheap jaare ![]() |
cococandy:If there's anything I've said that the law does not support please let me know, we are all here to learn..... |
This one na easy judgment, that option of 50 million fine is like telling a bank robber, you can go free just pay the court 25% of the loot ![]() |
cococandy:There are laws against entrapment and forced confessions. When you remove sentiments and focus on what the law allows and does not allow, good lawyers will find the loopholes. Remember the law does not really care if you're guilty or innocent, all that matters is what can be proven. |
GloriousGbola:Go back and read what I wrote and tell me how we are talking about the same thing. The only evidence they have against him is the CCTV and his confession, the CCTV never actually showed any sexual intercourse. this na 9ja forget am, if he had money and a damn good lawyer, case would have flowed a different path. |
dominique:In law it's not about being innocent but creating doubt. If the credibility and motive of the accuser is tarnished, the case could flow another path. Lawyers are paid to make a case, good ones are paid to spin the narrative. Let's remove sentiments here, speaking strictly from a legal point of view, his lawyers did a terrible job. |
5 years for 9ja prison, that's enough to reset his brain.....His lawyer failed him tho, a good lawyer would have had the case thrown out due to coercion and the extenuating circumstances such as his relationship with princess and possible motive for retaliation. Anyways my guy, get ready for BEANS BEANS BEANS! |
okoroemeka:You're still playing a script it's high time you come back to reality, Tinubu no buy delegates na aspirants him dey buy....There's levels to this shit and in politics right here and now, Tinubu na Jagaban. You might hate him or his ethics but you've got to appreciate a player that knows how to play the game. This is why I pity the social media warriors, before you count one to 10, dem don leave una behind. Also una no dey see what's right in front of you, the LG chairman was simply kissing Tinubu's ass, even him know say it is mission impossible! P.S. Show me the politician in 9ja right now that is not corrupt or has never accepted bribe/pocketed public money and I'll show you a 90 year old woman fighting jackie Chan ![]() |
maasoap:Guy you still dey ask questions, she said all of them so that includes her papa, her grandpa, he uncles, her siblings, all.....but wait o, if her father is useless, why did her mother agree to sleep with a useless man? Her mother must be useless too ![]() |
THIS IS FUNNY......I DON'T WHY BUT THIS IS ALSO PROVOKING ME.......OBIDIENT PEOPLE I HAIL O ![]()
|
Savagr:He left at 17. |
Asour:Whether they are against it or not, facts cannot be changed. He was born and partially raised in South Africa and that automatically labels him as African. Whether he claims it or not, na e own personal cup of tea ![]() |
