hello room.

I have a problem and it is paining me. I am a matured guy who know what it feels like to be single and maried .

Most People mock me, but I got married.

We had a baby last year, a corona baby.

I am not ashamed to say that at my age, I am still a mummy's boy and she is my number one but I respect my wife.

When I wanted to marry, my wife Never agreed to having a house close to my mum's place.

I felt very bad but I want to make her happy so we moved far. My mom was angry as she knew my wife forced me.

When my wife delivered, her mum came for omugo instead of my mum, and that made her so sad, that she cried and ask if i am a bastard to let them steal her right.

I begged her. She came for naming and left the same day I noticed way my wife was acting rude too because her mum was pushing her.

I told my wife that mum is angry, let us visit her buy her a gift because her place is now far.

She kept saying that her body is not strong for 5 months after delivery and I thought she took me and my family as fools.

I got angry and slapped her twice. When she saw that I was really angry she begged me.

So we went and saw her we are all happy and settled all.

As my child reached 10 month, I told her to tell her mum to go because she's now strong almost to walk.

Her mum left but my mum wanted to come and spend the holiday as she had never done that since she delivered .

When I told my wife, her facial expression changed. When my mum came i travelled but she didnt cook for her but heat soup that was in the freezer to give her.

My mum hated that and she called me crying that what she did to her she won't do to her own mum .

I pretended nothing happened as I got back I bought things from a eatry for family so my mum left after 2 weeks.

I brought up the issue and she said nothing wrong in giving her food kept in the freezer that she gave same to her mum too .

I got angry and beat her up. I didnt injure her. all and some other thing . I love my wife I cant be beating her all the time she promise to change yet nothing. Because of bad character I refuse to take her to eatry.

she denied me sex until I slap sense into her.

marriage has challenges it is s not easy.

I have only 3 things to say.

1. Stop beating your wife. It doesn't make you a man.

2. Talk sense to your wife. She seems to not understand your mother and tries to avoid her. Its partly because you are a mummy's boy and she knows it.

3. Talk to your mother. She should try not be be hard on your wife. If your mother accepts her daughter inlaw like her own daughter, all these issues will not arise. Your mother had the opportunity to tell your wife directly, she doesnt like frozen food, instead she took it up with you and you as a mummy's boy took action instead of telling your mother to do the right thing.

Finally, all 3 if you must make conscious effort to build a bond with the other as a family.

As for my pastor am thinking about having a chat with him, I really didn't like it.

He can't just take me unaware like that.
if he wanted me to pray the closing prayer, he should. Have sent the usher with a piece of note to come inform me.
That would have been better, not calling me unexpectedly.

I remember those days, we had.a mainly youth church. One of our mates went to pastors school and got posted back to his home church, our church. This guy no get sense, na so him dey target us his friends for prayers every sunday. One by one, we our friends started changing churches or stopped coming at all.

The worst case, is when he called my cousin sister, he didnt know she stammered when anxious. Na so my sister shut down. All she was able to stand up and say is, "Lets pray", nothing came for about 30secs then someone else stood up and saved the day.

This is my car Before and After a minor accident. It may not shock you but the panel beater is good at his job using the same fender.

You guys always keep shouting OEM ball joint as if that's a permanent solution when the even one that came out of the factory with the car can giveway . You need more than just an OEM replacement

Do you know how long the OEM lasted before it gave up. Imagine a 2003 Honda accord today, thats an 18yr old ball joint. Buy OEM and you will never have a failure or at least till 2039 if the car is still drivable. I am still driving with one of my factory ball joint which was checked today in preparation for a journey tomorrow.

Agreed, the ball joint in an Accord is a very critical part, those who neglect it should not be surprised.

My gf got pregnant, I'm not an advocate of abortion so I told her to keep it so I and my live-in gf had a child (girl) outside wedlock who is 2 years old now and I took care of her and the child for 1 year and 8 months,paid the hospital bills and everything, which a single dough of the girls family didn't come to the wellbeing of the child, it was All me which the mother of the girl is aware of.

Fast forward to now, the mother of my gf doesn't want me to see my child because I don't want to marry my gf now, my gf and her mother had to even report me to human rights for me never to contact my gf any longer cuz I am threatening her which I never did... I tried contacting my gf to know what is happening, she's not picking her calls neither is the mother too and when I texted my gf she rained insults on me lol (life's so unfair)

NB: I learnt from a reliable source that the mother of my gf is the one Influencing her this way,my gf is also in her 3rd year at school

In summary, you want the girls family to take care of your child, you also want to tie your baby mama down but not officially then be free to change your mind about marriage anytime you wish.

You mother baby mama's mother is just doing what is best for both her child and her grandchild. You just need to imagine yourself in their shoes.

That your baby mama lives with you already means you can as well step up to a trad engagement and get them off your back. They are just trying to get a commitment from you.

You either commit and take responsibility or free the baby mama which also means you will have to deal with issues about your child's welfare.

This is absolutely incorrect. 40L vs 12L for same journey? Even a w12 engine will not get that difference for same journey unless the fuel is leaking from tank to ground.

Fuel pump in Honda? 7yrs with mine, never changed the pump.

First you need to understand how a power steering works.

First it assist your effort in turning the steering. Older cars use hydraulic pressure and a valve system. The valve system detects which direction the steering is moving and directs hydraulic pressure to the side to assist.

An electric system works same way. It has a sensor that detects the side you are turning the activates the electric motor to assist the turning motion in the direction.

Having pointed this out, my guess will be some how, this sensor is permanently sensing a left turn. So it has permanently turned the motor in assist mode to the left. Am so you get an assist to the left even when there is no intention. Fixing the issue means trouble shooting that sensor.

Good day all, i want to pour my heart on what's bothering me and get people's view and possible solutions to the issue.

I've been in a relationship with my boo for a couple of years now and it's a serious relationship, we're are very close.. infact we're practically besties aside relationship. For some months now i noticed he no longer gives me attention like he used to, the vibe between us dropped and it was getting me angry. He stopped doing the things he knows i like, he knows my love language is attention/care as well as complement but he stopped doing all these. I'd send him a photo where i look so beautiful and he'd only say you look good, at a point i started preparing my mind for the worse.

Just yesterday he told me there's something he wants us to talk to me about and it's been bothering him and i asked him what it was, he said it's about us. He said 2 of his siblings asked him same question on different occasions but, he didn't see it as a big deal the first time but when it was asked the second time he got angry and that's the reason he hasn't been flowing well with me.

The question was how can you get married to someone who is not close to your siblings, when he said this i was weak. I know when we started the relationship he told me his siblings are free people i can relate with, i told him i will try. I was in contact with 2 of his sisters before this year( i sometimes chat, text or call during birthdays, new month and festivities).

This year i started chatting with the 3rd sister, her wedding was coming up and she sent me IV. I congratulated her and she asked if i will be around, i told her i will try and create time so i can travel down to attend. I really did travel down to attend the wedding, she was surprised when she saw me but i noticed my boo wasn't happy with me all through the event.
Now he's saying he's in close communication with my mum and siblings, they talk all the time but same can not be said about me. He was thinking how can he get married and his siblings will refuse coming to his house because there's no relationship between us.

I'm a very introverted person while himself and his siblings on the other hand are extroverts and ambiverts, i don't find it easy building up ties with people from a distance. I have very few friends, i can be in a place and i won't talk if I'm not used to the people or there's no serious thing to talk about (that's the reason i talk to his siblings during birthdays, new month or festivities). I don't know how to build up a strong relationship with them before marriage, it's even worse because we don't get to see often cos they're in a different state but I've visited them on a few occasions.
How do i handle this issue. I was in deep thought all through the night, i couldn't get up to 4 hours sleep.


God knows i love his family as much as i do mine, he himself said he knows i care about them 100% but his family cannot read my mind to see that i have them in mind. After our discussion last night i couldn't sleep, I've been feeling bad about the whole thing. Introversion is making me look like I'm not a good person.

I really don't know how to go about this, please i need advice from people who have been in similar situation.

You just made me remember my own introverted issues and also forgetfulness.

My wife told me her dad slumped and was rushed to the hospital. I actually sent money but have not called for over 3weeks now. I find it hard to call my father inlaw and he has gotten tired of complaining about me not calling him. My wife is angry i didnt call.

The only thing you can do is try harder. There is nothing anyone can do to change the way you are, plus you are not a bad person. I am in your kind of shoes and i can only do my best.

Also check all your engine mounts and especially the rear engine mount.

I experience smoother gear shifts and better acceleration when i change a bad rear mount.

Thing is, when a ball joint snaps off on speed, vehicle skids off the road into oncoming traffic, bush, or a river and cause of accident is now attributed to something other than it.

I have seen tens of Accords with pulled ball joint but never seen one that the"vehicle skids off the road into oncoming traffic, bush, or a river'". Please show me one.

And no.. formula one cars do not up and flip just like that...either it goes in a bend too fast, or it gets side-burned by another vehicle, or some part of its suspension malfunctions causing a loss of balance...and the fact that cars get momentarily in the air when they flip doesn't mean they 'fly'...same way that the fact that I can somersault and jump doesn't mean I can fly like a Boeing or Angel Gabriel


The normal thing is for a car's tyres to maintain contact with the road at all times..and if it's in contact with the road,then its weight is borne by its suspension, which quite unfortunately, most of its weight is borne by those ball joints in some Hondas..

And yes ....SUVs or CUVs have that warning sticker you attached because due to their high centre of gravity, they tend to flip real fast if driven carelessly... that doesn't mean they fly or that it's a normal sequence of events for their tyres to be off the ground when on high speed...so in the normal cause of driving, their tyres grip the ground...which means their suspension is under pressure, and is, in the case of some Honda transferring most of that pressure to those damn ball joints..

Oga Physician, has it even occured to you that the vehicle's tyres friction with the road is what propels the vehicle forward?...as in have u tried jacking a Vehicle's four tyres up and tried accelerating it...the tyres will just spin without any movement whatsoever...this means that even if you are speeding in a vehicle at 400 miles an hour, that movement is due to the friction btw your tyres and the road...the road provides the launchpad and continuous friction for your vehicle's tyres to propel the vehicle forward...once that friction is lost, you are somersaulting, which is very bad news for you

Your physics knowledge obviously didn't take into account the fact the ball-joint doesn't just snap out of the blues but deteriorates over a period...the thread holding its nut wears off, the joint gets weaker thus giving room for more play..and then when the thread-wear is such that it can no longer hold the nut in place, or the joint gets very lax, it pulls out ...the ball-joint doesn't have sensor to know you are on 160km/hr so it shouldn't pull out ..it's a purely mechanical part that breaks when it reaches breaking point irrespective of whether the vehicle is flying or walking at that point.

Your analogy about planes and weight to motion ratio is also very very pedestrian...Helicopters take off straight off the ground...abi u wan talk say helicopters weight on the ground is same as their weight while flying? ..so why don't helicopters also use runways when they wanna fly? .Ships sail straight off their yards into water ..are you then saying that the ship's weight in its yard is more than it's weight while moving on water?...or maybe Spaceships that take off vertically are not affected by this your grand theory of motion vs weight ....

When arguing, please try not to dabble into things you know next to nothing about .... Planes take off the way they do for reasons that are more complex than what you have just said...while an empty Boeing needs a runway longer than 3 football pitches to take off, a jetfighter carrying a large tonnage of bombs and 1k+ litres of fuel for a transatlantic flight, can take off the landing strip of a navy ship which most times isn't as large as even 2 football fields

And for your further education, vehicles are built to grip the ground even in speed....because if for any reason, it loses grip with the road while on speed, its stability in motion becomes seriously compromised possibly leading to loss of control and a crash...

In case you didn't know, unlike airplanes, your Honda isn't built to fly ...the more its four tyres are firmly planted on the ground, the safer for you...and as long as its four tyres are on the ground, a large amount of the vehicle's weight are putting pressure on those damn ball-joints..and if pressure are on those things, neither you, me or anyone else can clearly stipulate when they will break.

I drive a Honda Evil Spirit which according to reports isn't supposed to pull joints ..but I still have a close to morbid fear of the damn things coming from my baby boy days.. it's so bad that I have them checked monthly... That's what Honda does to you ...

The problem is that you are talking about what you dont know. The fact is the pull almost never happens on high speed, hardly anything more than 20km/h. Usually, immediately after a speed or road bump, pothole, rail crossing etc

How come you never see a pull out on a highway, only inside a city, street, in the middle of traffic, or in front of your gate. Your imagination should have been more constructive instead of exagerative.

If you understand physics, you will understand that this problem starts with weight of the car. And secondly that a car's weight on the ground decreases with increase in speed. The same reason a plane takes off from the ground only after attaining certain speed. So when a car travels at 160km/h the weight of the car is being lift up by air passing underneath it which reduces the weight on the ball joint. So the ball joint cannot reach its breaking point on speed. The speed becomes an advantage.

From today, take notice that the chances of ball joint pulling at speed is greatly reduced or near impossible. It is simple physics.

I recently went to a shop to buy a shoe, I negotiated a shoe for 18k but had just 30k in my acc. I was expecting a credit that day or next so i didnt want to empty my acc. So i told the shop keeper i will pick it up the next day.

When I came back, he claimed, someone wanted the shoe in different size so he called his supplier who told him the cost price is now 20k. So the guy refused to sell the shoe to me at 18k as agreed but the price is now 21k.

My question to him was, if i picked the shoe yesterday, his profit (1k) is still there since he bought the shoe for 17k. His counter argument is that, if he gives me at 18k, he will no longer have the capital to replace the same shoe he sold. If he does same with everything he has in his shop, his business capital will go down even when he is making profit. So to keep his capital steady, he has to sell at the current price even if his stock is old.

This is the same situation obtainable when petroleum marketers hoard products leading to scarcity and long queues.

Same situation i got during the COVID19 lockdown last year. I bought a bag of Lactorich milk for 45k at the end of the month, there were over a 100bags of the milk in the ware house. Came back next month end and it sold for 55k while it was same stock. Same excuse by the seller.

When you read about causes of diabetes, there is no where it will mention eating sugar (processed or otherwise) as a cause.

Causes of diabetes are Gene, Viruses, Obesity, overweight, physical inactivity etc
