For the fuel economy, Honda For the Benz thrill, Benz This particular Honda has horrific leather seat issues. Secondly, the V6 has a timing belt that is usually the cause of engine problems. Don't forget that 4matic means all wheel drive, it consumes more fuel. |
Golden147:On part if my mind is telling me to tell you to marry her ASAP go avoid stories that touch the heart. The other part is telling me to tell you that marriage is not just about love or financial reasons. I know you dont have another girlfriend, but you should understand that when you render help, you don't expect anything in return. But you kinda do. |
lomprico:Leave that to a judge. You should know |
blockgeek69:While observing that, did the car overheat? If no, why worry? The question you should have asked is whether Honda designed the car that way? The answer would have been yes. |
lomprico:Even in the movies, you get on interpol wanted list if a country places your name on the wanted list. You are considered a fugitive in any country Interpol operates. You don't have to commit an "international crime" to be placed on the wanted list. You and the 3 likers of your post should please educate yourselves. I expected you to know by common sense that a crime by a foreigner is still a crime. A member country just places a "RED NOTICE".

Rayd502:I think it was 3500 |
OfoIgbo:Has he in any point in his life held a Nigerian passport? And who told you foreigners that commit offenses in Nigeria cant be taken to court in Nigeria? |
TOTOnigga:I wouldn't say my parents are poor but are far from rich. When i was in 200l, when GSM wasn't very old, MTN sim was 13k, my mother assisted me to buy a phone and subsequently a sim. This was something that rich people had access to but my mother wanted me to have it since i wanted it. It took a combined effort from me and her to get me a phone. My father was aware but said nothing. He regularly bought airtime 1500 once a month. As a 19yr old, i was the driver to my parents. My parents supported me. My father's friends told him not to support me in buying a phone or driving his car. The particular friend didn't know i was the one who went with his son to get a phone which his wife paid for without his knowledge. When i was 26, the same man got sick one night and needed to be rushed to the hospital but his 2 sons that were older than me could not drive. I came to the rescue since we were neighbors. The wife in the morning gave me money and bought fuel for me to teach her sons while the father was hospitalized since he will not approve of it if he was aware. I had 2 supportive parents, my friends had one supportive parent, you seem to have 0 supportive parent. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. The other of my fathers friend had another attitude. He and his wife's support to his son was purely cash money. The guy went to 3 universities that i know but never graduated till date. Today, he and his father are not on speaking terms. I have a friend who bought his 2 children 12 and 14 and Android phones. My last word, you need to show your parents responsibility in all your actions, your irresponsibility may be the issue. |
Macphenson:Let me give you an actual story. Years ago, i did a small job and was to be paid 50k but payment delayed. 6months later i got a crdt alert by someone i didn't know, i thought it was an error. The bank alert at the time didn't show your account balance so i didn't know my balance. I sent some to withdraw 20k using my atm. I didn't get debit alert but the person informed me he tried 3 times but all showed unsuccessful. He went to another bank, check the balance and saw only 10k and he successfully got cash for me. It was a year later that i went to complain for my 50k that they asked me to bring statement of account. It was from my statement of account that i got to realize that the 50k had been paid and that the 3 undispensed attempts to withdraw by my friend were actually atm dispense errors and had debited a total of 60k from my account. The moral of the long story is that a hacker can permanently temper with an electronic election leaving no record the hack ever happening leading to total lack of faith in the electoral process and outright anarchy. A manual election leaves, copies of evidence, leaves witnesses and so many traces for the court to deliver justice. But electronic election leaves nothing for a judge to use. You vote party A and a hacker changes it to B but you will never even know it was changed. You can't even go to court. We operate a closed ballot system, so to make electronic election possible, we need to change it to open ballot so that every ballot has a name and every vote can be tracked. |
Dagger111:If you don't understand her position, you cannot understand why Nigeria is not ready for electronic voting yet. She is a member of that committee and also a member of the PDP whom we all know want electronic voting for whatever reasons best known to them. It is very obvious that the committee through information from experts have been informed of the great danger of electronic voting and have decided to play it down which is against what her party wants. She can't serve 2 masters at the same time by voting either way, so she abstained to avoid displeasing both masters. Besides, if PDP want electronic voting, why didn't they do it when they held sway? This is my opinion, people save money in the banking system that relies on electronic means to conduct business. These moneys are protected by insurance that the banks take. Meanwhile somehow, criminals always find ways to temper with these electronic money but the insurance stands as a cover. If the Nigerian elections were to be electronic, which can be tempered by criminals, there will not be any insurance. The constitution has no insurance for such a scenario, so this could lead to chaos. The courts which is to be an insurance cannot be an insurance because they rely on physical evidence which the electronic system does not leave. Any tempering of electronic election will either cause chaos or totally lead to lack of trust in the electoral system. The risk is too great to take. Anyone who has the interest of this country at heart will not think of electronic elections. I believe PDP are aware and have realized that the only way to get a shot at the presidency is to do the PDP thing, make the elections vulnerable for their own mischief. Same way they conducted Nigeria's worst elections in 2003 and 2007 |

Sebastine1994:One mans food is another mans poison. You like lyrics, I like the rhythm, another person likes both and another hates music. Why can't you respect other peoples choice and enjoy your own choice. Listen to the ones you like and be neutral to the ones you don't like because other people like them. Ask me to listen to a song 50times, I may not be able to tell you what was said in the chorus. I have not committed a crime. |
Chibuking1402:There is no excuse for jumping bail by fleeing outside the country. They brought him back, why didn't they kill him in Kenya if that was what they actually wanted as you want us to believe. No one wants to kill him. He ran simple and short, there is no excuse he can give the court. Why didn't he publicly declare that he wants to face the trial on camera, instead he denounced his Nigerian citizenship as if that will make anything less. When soldiers went to his house, there was exchange of gun fire, that was proof that something sinister was going on there. He ran because being caught amidst gun fire will have made his court case complicated. He chose the easiest way out. Since he knew, his crimes have caught up with him. |
EMMY76:You know the truth, just be truthful |
EMMY76:No, he was foolish to jump bail in the first place. He became a fugitive from that day. |
Dpharisee:When and where did you ever hear a judge ask the police to explain how they arrested a suspect? Maybe you expect the judge to ask Kanu every morning whether he ate breakfast, lunch or dinner? |
Chuksmonika:So you honestly believe that a person holding dual citizenship of say US and UK can go to US, commit a crime, US seized his passport, he jumps bail, illegally leave the country back to the UK, then the UK miraculously gives him a fresh passport knowing he jumped bail in the US, he is then arrested in another country, taken back to US and in your twisted mind you expect the US to say well, after he jumped bail, he denounced his US citizenship therefore, he cannot be charged in our court because he is a UK citizen so we are putting him in the next flight to UK. You mean to say only Nigerians can be charged to Nigerian courts. Any foreigner can kill 1 million Nigerians, disobey traffic laws or any law in Nigeria without getting arrested. Or you meant to say Kanu is above the Nigerian law because he is British! Nigeria is not qualified to charge him to court, only the UK can. I dare Kanu to put heroine up his arsee and go to Singapore You must be dreaming. If you guys continue to think in that line, when do you think the rest of us that are not Igbo will vote for an Igbo president? |
HEAVEN4444:You admit to trolling me? You are not doing yourself any good. Is it a good thing to be a troll? Do you know what compressed or pressurized air is? Have you ever seen a car with a cabin air compressor? Air planes have either an air compressor or get compressed air from their jet engines. The reason they compress air is that air pressure on ground is about 14psi and in very high altitude where they fly, air pressure could be as low as 4psi creating difficulty in breathing. Air drag is the only key word to the thread. You just confirmed you don't know what makes a fly fly in a moving car.
|
HEAVEN4444:Seems you like that shit. You even called me a brother for the shit. My shit is your enlightenment. Enjoy my shit brother. It will heal your ignorance. Meanwhile, I couldn't find your answer to the question, "How Do Insects Flys Inside A Fast Moving Vehicle?" Don't you have a sensible thing to say? E be like say I do you something? Oh, i remember exposing your foolishness when you really wanted me to look bad but ended up digging a hole that swallowed you. You didn't, know how a fuel sending unit works, you didn't (and still don't) know how to drive a manual and you probably don't know or even understand why a fly could fly inside a moving car. I guess there a whole lot you don't know and don't even posses the comprehension skills to understand shit.

Praxis758:Can't you see what is going on. Donald Trump election to president in 2016 was very controversial and Russia was fingered. There was no evidence as usual with any most things done online. Americans trusted their system and leaders so they accepted it. Nigerians are not like that. In 2020, he Donald trump protested against mail in ballots. Imagine if those mailed in ballots were electronic. Think of what that accusation caused in America with a population of mostly educated and civilized people unlike here. Imagine if we do electronic transmission of results, whether hacked or not, there will be chaos because no looser will accept defeat since there is no evidence to differentiate between a winner and a looser. Imagine all the gullible election touts, Nigeria will just burn. Let's be honest, those who want electronic voting in Nigeria actually don't mean well for this country. They know it will bring an end to Nigeria and thats their motive. But no sensible, patriotic Nigerian will endorse electronic voting, its a recipe for disaster. The disaster the enemies off Nigeria lingered for. |
Joysticks:Do you understand the difference between electronic data and electronic data transmission? They are 2 different things. One is offline and the other is online. Going online with Nigeria's result mean Russian hackers can choose Nigeria's president. |
Richie0974:Me, I dey wonder. These people protesting and the ones supporting on Nairaland will never understand the risk of relying on the cyber space for elections. It will be worst than the server card Atiku tried in vain to play. Nothing will be for certain, even the courts will be helpless and the system thrown in jeopardy. |
silibaba:Lets do the math then |
Good question. When a car moves every thing inside it moves at the same speed. This includes the air within the cabin. It is like the entire contents of the car becomes one with the car. Any part of the car or thing inside the car that has a different speed high or lower will be thrown around within or outside. This is what we feel during airplane take off, lift moving up or down etc In fact, that is the reason for seatbelt, also why a child seat must be attached to the car else it becomes a projectile if the speed of the car suddenly changes. This brings us to the fly question. The principles of flying, there are 4 forces, 1 lift (push up), 2 gravity (pull down), 3 drag (pull backward) and 4 thrust (push foward). Lift and gravity oppose each other as well as drag and thrust. Lift and thrust (push) must both be greater than their opposing forces (pull) for flight to happen. A fly on a good day knows how to deal with all 4. However, in a moving car with a cabin, the air moves with the car along with the fly. This is normal because the car provides a shield (windshield) against drag. So the fly will not experience drag at all. The lack of drag is what allows the fly to fly. In a convertible car, the fly has a smaller space to fly normally, thats in front of the windshield or footwell where it can avoid drag. Thats why the fly cannot do its thing when you are on a motorcycle where there is no windshield. In other words the drag will be much higher than the fly's thrust. Secondly, a fly will not be able to fly out of the car because the difference in drag from inside the car and outside seems like a wall that the fly cannot pass so it gets to a point where it knows it cannot fly to and it retreats back into the car where there is no drag. Thirdly, most times you see a fly in the car, they seem confused, well, i guess they are because during acceleration or deceleration, the fly has to put more thrust to move forward or less to move back. This plays with their flying instincts just the way we feel fast acceleration and deceleration in cars, planes, lifts, escalator etc. |
Sammerboi:My opinion is that it is written on stone. There are sections of it that was locked and the key thrown in the Atlantic. Those sections can't be amended without suspending the constitution. No democratic government can suspend the constitution because it invalidates the government. Only the military can do what these agitations are asking for. These agitations is directed wrongly. |
onuman:Whether you like it or not, you and I are subjects to that constitution. You can't deny or pretend it doesn't exist or whatever because it doesn't suit you. Its either you work to improve it or fight it which you should be certain it will crush you. This is what is happening to Nnamdi Kanu, Igboho, El Zakaky etc Wisdom is not so common these days. |
OnionBandit:The very first comment on this thread after the OP got me shaking my head to the brazenness of stupidity being displayed publicly and confidently. I sometimes would think that the reason for such display of ignorance is the effect of our poor educational system but most times you find even professors holding very very biased opinions that makes them look like illitrates. It is very clear that education has nothing to do with the way we see things, it is not conscience too, I think it is ethnicity that totally blinds 95% of Nigerians that makes us accept biasnness as the only view. Nigeria is in trouble, not from the political quagmire, but from ethnicity. It is not that we don't understand the English language the constitution is written and interpreted, it is the fact that every one doesn't want to even understand what it is or do the right thing. The constitution clearly forbids anything that will fundamentally change it without uprooting the government first. No democratically elected government of Nigeria can allow a break up or even a referendum because it threatens the constitution and the legitimacy of the government that will do it. Its like pulling the carpet under your own foot. This means the constitution must be suspended to change those fundamentals. It is like a building, there is a limit of change you make on a building, else you have to demolish it to start afresh. So, to change the fundamentals of our constitution is to remove the democratic government first. Only the military can do that via a coup. All these agitations are means for those who benefit from it to cash out, it won't work. |
Skillsnigeria:So a bank marketer who earns a salary is unproductive abi? Anybody with a reasonable intelligence should not listen to your crap. The pilot that flies a plan is also unproductive because he earns a salary. A police, military man, a politician, lawyer, engineer, average civil servants are all unproductive people. In fact Buhari earns a salary, he is also unproductive, says you. |
adadike:You certainly will especially out of necessity. My mum had gone through driving school but even after it, she never drove on her own until her driver didn't show up one day and she was late for work. She drove that day and that was the end of the driver's job. I saw a fatal accident on the road this morning, it took me sometime before I had to proceed on my journey. I was scared of driving fast but before you know it, i was doing fast and furious. Time heals. |
adadike:Sorry for your predicament. You will regain your confidence with time. |
