Sammy07:The meltdown era. Can’t believe it was that long ago. |
Eulalia:No wonder you remember the exact year. Tough times. That’s when “meltdown” was the trending term. I remember one new barbershop opened in my area by one banker who was retrenched. Jewess is that you? |
Eulalia:True. Lifestyle is a very difficult thing to change at will. What happened in 2008? The mass retrenchment by ecobank? |
As long as you have money to exchange for her body you’re good to go. Cos that’s the only benefit she’s looking for. |
Eulalia:If they were paid off, there’s a chance of them getting back on their feet in a few months. The ones in deep shît are those who are currently servicing debt. In the end, every adult should learn to manage scarce resources. Jewess how far? |
Only foôls pay their girlfriends’ school fees. The stories never change. She will end up servicing one of her schoolmates. Or she would dump him after graduating. Maybe it’s one corper that would snatch her the first week of camp with bushmeat and palmwine. |
Such a childish prank. You and your friend plus her boyfriends are all mumu. |
In my bed? I’ll be angry. I’ll take a picture and send to my wife. That girl will not sleep in my house that night. If I wanted to cheat, I would do it with an outsider and definitely not in my house. |
A shirt. I wore it even though I didn’t like it at all. Then she got me another one that I cherished. It was a solid shirt. My ex. |
Women. ![]() Sorry Grandpa. It’s heartbreaking but it was 30 years ago! Come on! The person she cheated with may be dead. |
naptu2:Thanks boss. I wish I could meet the bassist for Afrika 70. He kept a solid groove, tight with Tony Allen. Lady and especially Gentleman blow my mind every time. Solid bottom notes. |
irunoko:Hahahahaha bro! You have said it all. ![]() |
zubinike:Dede? Wow. Didn’t know that. I just assumed he was among the horns men since he’s a saxophonist. |
irunoko:Ah! Those infamous subtitles ![]() The storylines ehn. I don’t want to yab the writers cos good actors and directors can still give life to those scanty storylines. But scriptwriters should do better abeg. |
|
Nollywood is just useless. I swear. ![]() I made a mistake of watching nollywood on Netflix this year. I won’t make that mistake again. Fine, Lionheart was okay because of the veterans. But you see those young actors and actresses? Na nonsense dem dey act. King of Boys was so disappointing. They just spent money on props without fleshing out the story properly. Screenwriting is still a big obstacle for nollywood. I won’t criticise the scripts for now. As for editing and VFX. I just dey laugh. The colouring is good though. The VFX is wack.Just look at the chain. Naija has badass VFX artists. Some are even members of our Art/Graphics section on NL. But do these producers hire them? No. Na mumu old school special effect dis our producers go dey put inside film. Sound effect nko? Lol. Thunder sample will be clipping yet they will add the over-compressed sound to the raw mix and master everything together. Do they employ foley artists at all? Perhaps the budget is the problem here. Perhaps it’s the work ethic. Perhaps both. |
He set the standard for afrobeat drumming. RIP to the maestro. Does anyone know Fela’s bassist in Africa 70? |
Why are you too proud to “Chyke” him? Make the move. Highest na “no”. Nobody ever died from getting a no. |
Women are the main customers of spiritualists. They are easily controlled by fear of unknown “powers”. |
It’s the work of Satan. |
Noisyrians:Exactly. It’s inferiority complex. |
yuswrld20:Thanks bro. |
Graysons:Lol. Actually it is low self esteem that makes you equate natural skin tone and natural hair with uncleanliness. That reeks of slavery. Yours is a defeated mind. |
Graysons:It’s okay if don’t find her attractive. That’s not the bone of contention. You maintain that she’s dirty even when all you have to make your judgment are these pictures. Evidently, you know nothing. And what’s worse? Your ignorance stems from the hangover of colonialism. |
Empty? Lol. She owned all the things in the house? Anyway tell him not to embrace alcohol. And if he must, he should limit his drinking to beer. At most 2 bottles per night. Spicy fish is good too. Man can’t be sad and not add small peppered fish to spice things up. ![]() |
Graysons:You call her dirty. I hope this is not in reference to her natural hair, natural dark skin too and natural face without makeup. You have no idea about her oral hygiene or if she washes her hair daily. You don’t know if she uses deodorants. All you saw was her skin tone and hair and you decided that she’s dirty. Lol. You know nothing. |
You have to work on yourself bro. The circumstances surrounding your childhood shaped you but you can correct this. Hanging out more with guys may help. It takes conscious effort but I believe it’s achievable. I’m sure you’re tired of trying to convince people that you don’t have an identity/gender crisis. Anyone who says you’re fine the way you are is comforting you with lies. You, yourself, know the struggle. From your observation, you’d notice women are cool with you acting like them. Bro, that’s a red flag. Cos they will turn around to call out your masculinity when they want to hurt you. Your first step to success is identifying this problem. Which you have done. Women must never be comrades to you. You are not one of them. They are to complement you. Some things are typically masculine. Do them. Develop interest in them. Things like Football, cars, machines, womanising (obviously) and so on.Also, if you love reading novels, please stick to male authors and drop all those romantic nonsense from female authors. Movies should not be anything romance. Stick to action and sci-fi with a drop of epic. No telenovelas please. You and your wife can’t be discussing zee world. No no no. WTF!Music choices should be tend towards male rappers or oldschool soul singers (male). Play video games too. O boy, you have your work cut out for you. |
Any girl who thinks her man should be responsible for her should not complain about patriarchy and whatever other perceived form of inequality. I mean! What’s more patriarchal than the notion that a man must be financially responsible for his woman as if she were a minor? Is she incapacitated? She’s not property. She can take care of herself too. However women are hardly that logical when it comes to responsibilities that don’t favour them. They want you to spend and still accord them equally standing. Even these naija feminists. If you want to marry them, you will have to overlook this. If not, you will wait long before you see someone with egalitarian convictions. |
End the marriage. It was built on falsehood. It cannot last. Go for a paternity test. Such chronic Liars will lie about anything. |
Julietsim:If you would just calm down to read the comments from those unmarried men you would realise that they expressed the same sentiments as your husband. They zeroed in on the core of the matter. Would you rather let him cheat? Your answer is no, cos it hurts. Whatever you do, don’t weaponise sex. Don’t make it a tool to control him cos It will backfire. I assure you. So you don’t let him have sex with you. He has 3 options. 1. Porn and masturbation 2. Cheating 3. Ignoring his urges. Which of the above do you think he will pick? |
Stephenomozzy:You keep making excuses for wrongdoing. She changes the contact name and deletes chats but forgets to delete call log which has exposed how long and how frequently they talk. Continue acting like a wimp. One day you will understand. ![]()
