Let me just caution.
Youth think
Think and think again.
You all have been played into fighting the wrong person.
Yes Tinubu is a politician but the problem right now is govt.
There is an agenda to take Nigeria over using the north. Buhari might even be out of "sight"
Go and look at all the the appointment is all they ministries and parastatals.
All are notherners about 98% are northerners.
All the properties burnt are supposedly owned by Tinubu and u are here shouting against Tinubu. Will Tinubu burn his own properties?
How come all media publication, houses , hotels, tollgate supposedly owned by Tinubu were torched but dangote refinery was left.
How come Tinubu is in the same ruling party but also in the opposition.
See Tinubu is the only check and balance against the powers of govt against the Southwest whether pdp or apc or whatever. I don't like him but
You need money to fight battles and if Tinubu is gone they will run Southwest over like they have run other eastern states of which Wike is the only opposition trying to curb it.
Youth think.
Fight against the northinization agenda and for a new Nigeria and when we are through we would visit Tinubu and other politician matter.

My 2kobo
Look at this one. Is Dangote a politician. Please point to one foundation that Tinubu has that give to the needy or society. Does Dangote cunningly acquire and corner peoples business ideas? Does Dangote collect a fraction of any state tax after signing off a percentage of revenue to companies he or his allies have interest. Does Dangote take over critical sectors in a state economy to the point that any development or project/proposal goes through him or its a no show? Point to a company openly owned by Tinubu that everyone know he invested his life and time in aside politics. That's the difference between Dangote and Tinubu. Reason before commenting. Tribalism will not help anyone. And Dangote did not come out to justify the use of force against peaceful protesters.

I’m looking at the video again. Why does it look like abandoned properties? I thought they said from the palace?

See you this nairaland people I have seen at least 3 fake videos from years past and Whatsapp already. You are spoiling the message and the world will not take us seriously.

Why must you spoil everything? That is how protest was going well, then hoodlums come and scatter
Hoodlums from APC and federal government. Their videos is all over the internet.

Why refer to them in the title as thugs. They were taking what rightfully belong to them. Or is this a class thing?

Anything with ties to Tinubu and his psychophants must be taken down. This is coming from a born and bred Lagosian. We have had enough of him. He should have this is long over due. He justified massacre of harmless protesters.

We warned them about the extremely high numbers of hoodlums in Lagos. Now these guys are being used and probably paid to attack their masters using #Endsars as a cover.

Those genuinely protesting against police brutality like we saw in Lekki yesterday will NEVER attack the Nigerian police, burn people's properties, and so on.

Everyone is angry but only few are applying commonsense. If Sanwo-Olu wants to shoot you, he would have done that a long time ago. Those who gave the order to shoot people are the same mastermind the destruction. Sanwo-Olu would not destroy his family house. The hoodlums should be cautioned, begged, or do whatsoever that will make them back down.

No one should rejoice with what is going on in Lagos. Force may not be the best approach at this point.
Who promoted and aided thuggery in Lagos? Was it not the godfather of Sanwo-Olu?

Arrrrrrrh

Please for the safety of lives, avoid protest now. Life is essentially don't goan get ya self
killed because of protest. The death of our past leaders have never change anything until now. Is it your death that will change anything?

Remember even you die today, the hustle for justice, good government, EndSars, etc still continue. Be wise!!!!

Modify

Am not standing against the protest if it's a peaceful one. But the protest is turning into chaos and lots of live are been killed on a daily basis, which is not suppose to.

Na person wey get life dey protest. !!!!

I will advise, we withdraw for a little since our lives are under threat.
There is another way to fight them. Hit them where it hurts. Target their assets. They own properties and other assets all over Nigeria and in foreign countries. Time to hit them hard. How could be few people fight and win hundreds of millions of people.

Tinubu should bid his presidential ambition farewell. The dream was killed the moment army opened fire on defenceless protesters in Lagos.
Tinubu by himself sanctioned the killings even before it happened. Read what he said here: http://saharareporters.com/2020/10/20/endsars-ex-lagos-governor-tinubu-justifies-use-force-peaceful-protesters-president

The protesters should have left the moment the governor declared a curfew. When a government declares a curfew and the people resisted, that government Is as good as dead and invitation to anarchy. I could tell if someone is a government contractor or one benefiting from the rot in Nigeria. Sorry, the party is over.

Keep your mouth quiet. Who is tolerating who? It is the people that has been tolerating politicians and government officials for so long. They know it and within them they have remorse but will cover that up to show strength. Few people just sitting and sharing what belongs to millions. They just started. People should have start calling out public officials individually starting with the lawmakers collecting N20 million monthly plus for doing nothing. Public work is not avenue to be a millionaire. If you want to earn millions like CEOs, then go into the private sector.

Sowore and his use of Sahara Reporters to blackmail Nigerians into supporting this government from hell we have is more than enough reason for him to receive real good quality beating in the first place. In saner climes he would hid his head in shame, but what we have in this country is a group of shameless mofos.
Most of you are brainless. When does reporting election results become supporting one candidate over the other? I am sure you have no clue about what truly happened during the 2015 election.

They have a funny way of thinking.

They are attacking someone who is trying to help them, and praising those who oppress them.

And they wonder why progress is slow.
That's the reason Jerry Rawlings of Ghana said in an interview that Nigerians are madly in love with their oppressors. It's an unending Valentine day for them and their oppressors.

We do make mistakes in life that what makes us human. And from what have read about Sowore from his uni days he's being fighting for the rights of others. He made a very big mistake in 2015 just like most of us but he's out for redemption. I pray he finds that redemption if his heart is truly pure.
Sowore did not make a mistake in 2015. It's not a mistake to rightly report election results via his Saharareporters platform in order to prevent election riggers from doing their overnight magic. It was the ideal thing to do. Maybe most of you would have sold out to the highest bidder. I suppose that's why you all see it as a mistake. No, any ideal citizen would have done likewise. But how many ideal citizens do we have in Nigeria?

The only thing I liked about Sowore was that he helped us to remove the corruption-infested regime of Jonathan. But since then, he has lost his way believing the government should have compensated him with an office.
I can only feel sorry for Nigerians like you each time I read comments like this. Apparently, you all do not know your left from your right and would eventually get lost. You said Sowore is seeking for compensation from government. Obviously you all assume all Nigerians are the same. Do you know his track record. This guy as student union leader turned down N800,000 gift from Abiola. Thats like $800k of today. Even Babangida was offering student union leaders cars, he also turned it down. Nigerians are known to be lovers of darkness and enemies of light and truth. I am not surprised. They abhor so much negative things within them that. You can imagine someone blaming Sowore for 2015 loss of Jonathan. Did you remember to praise him for helping bring Jonathan to power through his platform report on Yaradua death? Look at the protesters now. Haven't they loss focus already. I sorry for you all.

Typical Nigerian mentality.

Can't an accomplished politician prosper in peace again?

A man that singlehandedly built Lagos from scratch doesn't deserve to own a mansion. Now I know how backward people's reasoning are in this part of the world.
Madness. Tinubu built Lagos, Really? Then what should former Governor Lateef Jakande do? Empty the entire budget of Lagos. Please point to just one thing that Tinubu built in Lagos. Jakande left about 37 yrs ago, and one can still point to multiple things he left behind. The tax drive Tinubu pursued was done solely for his corrupt 10% cut, which was illegal in the first place.

What do you expect. Australia is a member of the commonwealth like Nigeria and both are subjects of the Queen in England, who got us into this mess from start. Don't expect them to support anything good in Nigeria. And mind you, they are comrades with the northern elites. They prefer to deal with them because they feel they are more loyal and no mind of their own.

You people don't understand what's going on. The case of the protesters is like a dumb child who suddenly started to talk. Nobody in the house will rest again. Nigerian youths have suddenly found their voices and that you don't have reasons to be scared of the people you elected to govern the society on your behalf.

I once ran into a Nigerian freelancer on one of the freelancing platforms who has earned over $100k. If this uneducated officer ran into him and see his page, he would have assumed he is into yahoo yahoo. Even if eight out ten Nigerian youths are involved in online fraud, that still doesn't justify you to go on the street asking youths to open their Facebook page. Are we in North Korea or under the control of islamists in Afghanistan?
