As much as there is a huge security risk in Nigeria, its fair to say that travelers to the US also risk being shot by mass shooters. There have been 578 mass shooting incidents in USA in this 2020 alone. You don't hear about it because their media deliberately don't cover all the incidents. See the story in this link: https://theconversation.com/mass-shootings-in-the-us-have-risen-sharply-in-2020-why-150981 |
BHUHARiE:Noise maker! Keep wishing with no action to back it. What has your docile president done to solve the security problems? I won't be judged if I wish you are kidnapped some day. Maybe by then you will get sense. It could be too late though except if the heavens choose to forgive your hypocrisy. |
If a total of 13 million children are out of school in Nigeria, then 250,000 out of school children in Benue represent approximately 1.9% of out of school children in Nigeria. Benue State is just one out of 36 states in Nigeria. We need to compare these numbers to Benin total population. I don't trust their numbers. How does a State with only 1.9% of the 13 million children that are out of school has low enrolment. These government officials don't know what they are doing. |
The man himself deserves to be kidnapped. Hypocrisy is a self-enemy. It's a karma rewarding act. Sad he brought this on his brothers. He ought to have been the direct victim. |
Generalwoodz:Let us be honest. Water and gas are non-sustainable resources for which supply is not guaranteed. Supply of sunlight in this part of the world is guaranteed for at least 10 to 12hrs a day. If you are an electricity consumer, which would you like to rely on? The one which supply is not guaranteed and which you will get billed for power you didn't use or the one with guaranteed supply with no bills to pay except for equipment. Use your head. |
sammy329:You are probably stupid and can't reason. Who is the victim and oppressor here? The people who threw a party as early as 9am with loud music and blocking residents access to their houses or a resident who was further threatened by party bouncers. Come to Europe or America and try that nonsense. The party organizer and bouncers will leave with cops in handcuffs, if they survive physically threatening a resident. The fact that most people carry gun put all actors in check. Lawless people. Where is government regulation for what you can or cannot do in a residential area? |
Ademola47:Assistant to who? When did Rohr became Guardiola? Please show me Rohr stellar record that make it likely that Amunike can learn anything from him. |
Tinubu owned company run the whole of Lagos land transactions. |
I am 100% sure that guy didn't slap any police. Once I was assaulted by a policewoman. The next thing the same police charged my brother to court for assault. |
Righteousness89:If not a native doctor, then a pastor would have done the scamming. What the difference between them. |
Akudaisi:I suspect those demonic forces take on the physical bodies of the deceased in attempt to experience life in human form. |
When did these people ancestors emigrate from Africa? |
isthatso:Sad story of Nigeria. Well, hope people are inspired to become more productive. |
Moferere:So, dem tye people hands and legs in Nigeria that they can't do the most basic thing humans are known for. Which is to farm and feed themselves. |
What baffle my mind is our refusal to use all these traditional knowledge for good. Must they always harm innocent. Funny part is part that says he "his craft ran of out fuel." Was he using an aircraft? |
OmoManU:I bet you it is possible. They will do it in hope to extort money from you once you unknowingly or knowingly make that error. Sometime they work with tout. |
How in heaven can you seize someone's vehicle because they broke traffic rules. Why not issue them high traffic fees instead of auctioning their vehicles. That's wicked. |
So, this old man in that video currently claiming he is 68 years can come out to say he was 47 yrs old in that video. I am in my late 40s. That man in that video is surely old enough to be my father with a good age difference of at least 30 yrs. I can guess he has to continue lying about his age because he is an impersonator using someone else identity. Na body dey tell man. Biological clock can't lie. |
bigcasava1:Keep quiet, bitter evil individual. What does bandits killing poor masses in the north have to do with Igbo. You rejoice over the death of the poor in one part of the country over killings of igbo that has nothing to do with the victims in the north. Direct your anger to the players. Ipob, the security forces, your state govt and federal govt. |
I have said it, that the hypocrisy of the northern political elites on one Nigeria will cause the north to collapse from within. They suffer most from insecurity and a federal security arrangements but their hypocrisy on restructuring and its benefits and sectional effects is not letting them make best decisions for their people and country. They will choose the easy money from the center over the lives of their masses. It's good that the Sultan is not an hypocrite. |
I live in the US, Nigerians using the term Black Friday is a form cultural colonization of Nigerians psyche by American driven capitalism. What business does Nigerians have with this term. Why can't Nigerians come up with their own day for discount driven shopping after any of the major festivals in Nigeria. Why must you follow American models. You people don't know how much self damage you are doing to yourselves. |
In reality, let us ask ourselves the question. What concern Nigeria with the term "Black Friday". Black Friday is the Friday after American Thanksgiving day (yesterday, Thursday). How does this concern Nigerians. I never knew anything called Thanksgiving or Black Friday when I was growing up in Nigeria. So, what concern Nigerian youths of these days with that term or any activity around it? Colonized set of people. |
Dedetwo:No, the western region sided with Nigeria as an entity or country it belonged to. Not the north as a separate entity. |
tabletguy:Put this in your mind from now on. Oppressors fear those that are fearless. Why do you think Nigerian govt and political elites were scarred of the aftermath of Endsars protest and are trying to clamp down on the organizers. It's because such protests will give more previously fearful people to become fearless and confront the power that be. Sowore fearlessness is why most of the political and business elites benefiting from Nigeria rots are scared of him. And also because he has refused to be bribed. |
Alxmyr:Common sense seem rare among Nigerians. So, a lawyer can't work on arrangement with a poor client until the client win the case or get paid. |
Juliusmalema:How old were you in 1994 when Ken Sara Wiwa was hanged by your grandfather "Abacha". You must be mad or high on drugs. |
Freestainworld:Senseless people. Someone requested for advice and they are posting senseless comments. Is it not better to just hang those fingers of yours. |
Raydos:Comment of the year! |
slimfit1:Which Lagos? Where i was born and lived in or where? It was not even 20% of this. Things were just more orderly and there were less people. At least I knew what the 1970s looked like. |
privaldo:Actually what I have in mind. Seriously pursuing this with hope to fund it and find individuals with shared belief. These political elites wouldn't let go without a fight. This is a class war, of the super elites against the poor, and middle class. Until the masses start targeting their assets violently, they will not take people serious. |
These public officials? With the expected massive use of that corridor by Dangote and other companies and people, the governor can only come up with a one lane road (on either side). That should have been a 3 lanes highway on either side. God help these little minded people. Is it not better to just do that now when most of the land and space is free, and not later when its fully developed. These people need to come to Houston, Texas, with a population of 2.3 million, and see highways. We need leaders with big ambitions and actions. These ones are more concerned about stealing. That road i am seeing there won't stand a chance against heavy duty trucks of Dangote. |
ThatFairGuy:Why can't we invent a language we can all call our own rather using all these foreign languages. We lazy Nigerians don't like doing the hard work. |
