This is a very common reality in hostels from secondary school to university... If this is shocking to you boyyy... You be day student or you be off campus person....

I remember my secondary school days from st. Batholomews in Zaria to command Kaduna... We use to FLAP people.... Which means dusting people off their beds while they sleep before they know it you are gone with the bed.... Then you will have to sleep with one eye open because you too might get flapped before the morning comes...


Fut Minna Bosso campus.... That hostel was war.... The smell of beans mixed with body odor mixed with piss mixed with nastiness I use to prefer to sleep on the roof of the hostel entrance slab.... My God that place has one of the best sun rises and sun sets I have ever seen....

Sorry for the long talk the picture puts me in a state of nostalgia... A flood of memories good and bad are swirling in my head kai... Life

Yorubas are unique, he has Muslim uncle, while his father is Christian and he has Muslim cousins and there are also Ifa worshipers in the family, everyone doing their own thing and living peacefully as one extended family, that can only be found no where else in the world but in the South West of Nigeria. Kudos.

As an Igbo person I lambast them regularly for political incorrectness but we admire them for the above high level of religious tolerance.

We cant even tolerate amadioha shrines anymore in our communities because we are 'born again' but the Yorubas celebrate their own called Osun Oshogbo which attracts tourists from far and abroad, during Sallah they have Ojude Oba which big companies scramble to be named as sponsors and during Christmas every family member sews new uniform and go to Church in the morning and then to Mosque in the afternoon if Christmas falls on a Friday.
