amuwo1980: Did she really say that? Am shocked she is this political naive.
She is not naive. She is strategic. She claims fighting racism but rubbishes her culture. She claims embracing African culture with hairstyle and attire but promotes lesbianism and gay stuff. She wrote a novel about Biafra but rubbishes the idea of modern Biafra. She claims to be a proud black woman but codedly promotes Western permissiveness. She preaches feminism but is married with kids and probably does traditional things for her hubby at home.
When somebody starts winning all these awards from oyinbo, for writing and saying what they like, I begin to look at the person carefully. Whose. Interest they actually serve.
This lady is sweet talking all the sides, especially those who call the shorts. The whites call the shorts globally and the Nigerian state does so nationally. Both have more to offer her than Africa and non-existent Biafra state.
Very clever lady. But necessarily on the best side of history?
dchem: @Seun I do not like to concern myself with the stupidity of men. However, I think it's time you start banning people making statements like this. They are gradually planting the seed of doubt of the disease on the mind of people. This should be discouraged if we are to fight this Pandemic. Please kindly consider this.
Sadly Seun has totally failed in this matter.
Freedom of speech is good. But some people here are a risk to public health through their conspiracy theories about a pandemic that has affected about 20 million people and killed nearly 2 million people worldwide.
DTeekay: My dear as a Frontliner, it is not only influential people that die of Corvid, just that their own death gets media coverage, many others die daily of Corvid without it getting to news.
Wear ur face masks in public places, wear ur face mask wen visiting ur parents or elderly ones, wash ur hand everytime and carry a hand sanitizer, keep a social distance in public places.
The plebs will never listen. They are too busy blaming the better off.
Instead of working hard to navigate the system like many rags to comfort and rags to riches people do, they are busy hating and looking to blow overnight.
Their disregard for empirical evidence is one reason they cannot truly see what works and what doesn't to progress in life.
ChoCho54: This is not the first time both Garuba and Adesina would brag about LG under Biko Haram holding, before Jonathan left, Boko Haram had been pushed to the fringes in the North East. That's the sole reason election could take place in those cursed places.
I was going to ask if states or 17 LGAs were under full Boko occupation, who then voted to give Buhari victory is those places in 2015?
No sense at all. If a man impregnates outside, the wife is not duped into believing the outside kid is hers. She immediate has the option to quit the marriage. She mustn't raise another woman's child if she does not want to.
Etinosa1234: Tao at first said that the word eko was formally oko and it was given by the Ijebu...
Note that the oko here means farm
Now she is saying the word eko which means camp in Benin was introduced into the Benin language through Yoruba and Dutch ..
If actually it was introduced, it would have been or sound similar to either(Yoruba or Dutch) language word for camp and this is not the case... Rather Eko is Benin word for camp Ibudo is Yoruba word for camp Legerplaats is Dutch word for camp
This 3 words have completely different pronunciations... This debunks her claim that the word eko was a word borrowed from either Yoruba or Dutch...
Also.. note that if actually the word oko which means farm in Yoruba was the originator of the word Eko, then eko would have actually meant farm in Benin language... Put differently, if oko means farm and it was borrowed by Benin to form eko, its only logical that the word would have had the same meaning with the Original word .. instead Eko - camp Oko(the supposed originator of the word eko) means farm
To further explain this, let's look at some loanwords in English and how similar they sound to the original word
Bibios from Greek and in English is called Bible Circul from Latin and in English , Circle
This and many more are examples that contradicts the fakes that Tao intend spreading here
Samuk valirex gregyboy Etrusen areafada2
Ever since she discovered my other moniker, she has been hallucinating since... I understand her case... I've had many patients do like that...
Well I'm patiently waiting for the 1757 work that The oba was praised as ikeji orisha.. stop giving bs.. Abi u want make I call hellraiser77 to deal with u again
It's amazing how much insight into the human mind someone with healing hands has. You get to see what many do not see or detect in humans. Humans are pretty consistent no matter how unique people claim to be.
I respect you for being so patient with the raving cross-dresser.
Yamiriflathead: That one na their business... This is nairaland not abroadland Any guy who's senseless to get married in any Feminist country should manage whatever comes with it
Well the forum is for everyone. Including non-Nigerians. First know what the law says wherever you live before you act.
If you suspect and your wife or gf refuses DNA test, you can still get it done using the right legal procedure.
dominique: The way a lot women get jittery when DNA test is mentioned ehn
That's why men mustn't tell their wives that they're carrying out for DNA test on their kids. Just take a strand of the child's hair and take it for testing. If the child is not yours, you can now decide what to do
Well, it depends on jurisdiction. It's actually illegal do it without the woman's consent in some countries. Averagely about 30% will produce okokobioko result. A bit higher in firstborn kids. After a relative had okokobioko result for all his 3 kids trying to relocate them from 9ja, I won't blame any man who wants to do it.
Some couples may seem to have everything or look happy to everyone outside, but you can never really vouch for anyone.
To help some start 2021 positively and to put smiles on some faces, I have been wondering all morning how to give small funds anonymously to a few widows in NL, in genuine need... I will appreciate any instruction on how my post can come out as "Nobody" or "Anonymous" or any other title but my profile name.
If you are a widow with young kids and your Crossover prayer was for God to send you urgent help so your kids will have food to eat today, please indicate below before 12 noon Nigerian time.
If you don't fit into above, PLEASE don't raise your hand. Be aware that God sees us all.
I will log back in 1 hour's time to select the first 10 I can confirm to be genuine, with your assistance to call out frauds.
By the mercies of God, 2020 was my best year yet and I pray that 2021 will even be better for all of us, in Jesus name!
PS: in addition to above criteria, you should have a bank acct to receive transfer.
More blessings and Favour to you from above as you help those in need. Amen.
nocomment9999: Guys, use the parts of the videos which are referenced. This guy has already done the job. I don't need to get myself tired. I can go back to writing my paper.
Perharps it is time to make a topic on yoruba true history with references such as in the videos. Also add all the proofs I gave. The yoruba don't like history, they are interested in destroying history, not discovering it. True history puts them to shame, so they must destroy it and claim other people's history. You must show them their true history.
AdaugoChisom: Untill every governor apply Kogi state treatment to the Chinese virus they will continue to record cases even when there's no case to case
Imagine Kogi just 5 since this year...what you don't know don't know you!
My dear, ignorance is not always bliss.
Do you know why life expectancy in 9ja is only 52 years (one of the lowest in the world? Aside poverty, ignorance and stigma attached to illness are the reasons. Because people do "Kogi style" to symptoms, lots of diseases are diagnosed too late.
Don't you wonder why so many appeals for kidney problem treatment, even here on NL in the past few years?
We can temporarily escape reality by turning a blind eye. But reality must overtake sooner or later.
Uganda & Kenya took on HIV/AIDS ravaging those countries about 20 to 25 years ago and made commendable progress. Public education and sensitization played a big role. Bananas were used to teach use of condom across public and market squares and schools nationwide.
You think Yahaya really cares if people are dying in Kogi? If people, they just bury or put in mortuaries. 90% won't have death certificates even.
pocohantas: Not just rich people, but happy people or anyone that looks like he or she is not struggling.
This is not even about Davido, but a trend I have observed- online and offline.
In African clime, if possible, enjoy your success quietly. Of course that may not be possible for celebs.
When people talk of village people, I just laugh. Village people are those around you. Those who see how you are thriving, living within your means and not complaining. Those who estimate that you have more than what you actually do, perhaps because you are content and even generous as you can afford to be.
englishmart: Such courses in Nigeria are a total waste of finance, energy and resourcefulness. My criminologist cousin has been searching for job for 7years, he's now a spare parts businessman
No wonder crime is everywhere.
The police needs criminologists, psychologists, sociologists and such that understand social issues and how they promote crime. People who can engage the youth and give the police a human face.
cjudy: Wetin Una take treat 500+ cases Nigeria? E be like say the vaccine Don arrive.

Please be careful how you comment on health matters you are not sure about.
Some covid-19 patients do not need serious intervention. Their symptoms may remain mild while in treatment centre. They are supported until they return negative results. If not kept in care centre, they might go about spreading the disease.
But as cases increase, there might be only space for those with serious symptoms and those no symptoms or only mild ones (though infectious) may be turned away. Such people may see your comment above and be swayed that there is no covid-19 after all. They may go about and God forbid, spread it to you, your loved ones or friends. It's that serious.
Vaccines don't cure infections. They prevent in two ways mostly: to ensure the pathogen is eaten up upon entering the body so it cannot grow or replicate enough to cause infection or even if it does cause infection, it will be mild and the body can later overcome it.
In covid-19 vaccination, we cannot be sure yet if all or some vaccinated people do not get infected at all or if they do get infected if their viral load goes high enough to the point they can still be infectious. Also if it's same for all the variants known so far.
These can only be confirmed in the months ahead when many enough people have received their two doses.
Wow! Is it that people in 9ja do not take their kids to their village anymore?
I would have thought this is just routine stuff but surprised how much praise Kunle has garnered. We take our Western born and bred kids to the village when visiting 9ja and we don't consider it big any big deal.
You are not the only one suffering such humiliation, 99.0064% of poor people suffer same.
In whatever you do, make sure you end up rich!!
How many begin life in 9ja rich? Everyone faces humiliation or rejection at some point. It's part of living in a disorganised country with poor social safety net and limited upward mobility.
These things are not even worth mentioning. Just get on with your life.
Could you tell me more about this History of yours you keep ranting about?
You are quite ignorant, you know.
Very ignorant!
Since you mentioned distinction and pride, I wanted to see your aspirations and relative achievements to be obsessed with "distinction".
I'd pass because all those bad belle people pretending not to see this chat since will suddenly turn up to say one is proud. Especially when they see that one was not educated locally and not based locally.
Until you really go around the world and see, you won't realise your gargantuan ignorance. Keep wallowing in it. All I can tell you is that my mentors were those who won the highest prices and impacted mankind. Virtually all educated in the very universities in the world. They all remained humble despite their stellar medical, surgical abs scientific achievement. Although most have now passed on.
