The propaganda level is something else. There was a video of two women caught in a cross fire between some Hamas fighters and Israeli soldiers. Despite the Hamas fighters doing absolutely nothing to the women, the comments were still sympathetic to the Israeli soldiers despite the Israeli soldiers being the more reckless with their gunfires. Anyway, it is the one who controls the media that controls the mind of the people. And propaganda is a part of war. |
The funniest thing about this war is Nigerians taking sides based on religion. This is not even a religious war. It is majorly a land dispute with Hamas using the opportunity to attack Jews while demanding a true State of Palestine. This is not even a Christian-Muslim dispute at all. |
Pusyiter:He graduated before thirty years, but did not serve at the time. |
The fact is that he was a lazy player. Gifted but lazy. His laziness exposed him to injuries in La Liga, and he went downhill from there. Talent is not enough. You need to add hard work to it to make it come out clearly and consistently. If only he had the work rate of someone like C. Ronaldo, he would have overachieved in any league. |
Penguin2:Where is the correlation? There is evidence that Israel took Egypt by surprise. It is there in historical documents. But show me one proof that Tinubu bought INEC to cook results for him? Even Obi and Atiku have not been able to prove that they won the election. Rather, they have been digging for means that would disqualify Tinubu from contesting in the first place. |
Many people actually overhype Israel using the Six-Day War. What they don't know is that Israel actually won that war by catching Egypt by surprise. One early morning, they made a sudden preemptive attack on Egypt airplanes on the tarmac, wiping out 90% of Egyptian airforce. You might call it a good strategy, since it then allowed Israel control the air in that war. But don't make it seem like the Israeli military went to war against a full strength Egyptian military and won in 6 days. |
Mvnster:In Yorubaland, we never practised the culture of throwing twins away. In fact, Ibeji is an Orisha (god) in Yoruba traditional religion. We also never used albinos for rituals. Never mind what you watch or hear today. Yorubas have absolute respect for the deformed, dwarfs or albinos because it is believed that Obatala protects them. Also, there is not one single Yoruba god or goddess which demands human sacrifice. It is always animals and/food that they demand for worship. |
Kenmatt:It is an insult. It is like when I worked for this Chinese on a contract and at the end of the contract, he told me he was impressed that I didn't steal. I was like, was he expecting me to steal? They see blacks as dishonest and are always shocked when they come across a honest black person. |
2elliot:But not on transcripts, especially when such a transcript has done its part. Tinubu needed the transcript when transferring credits to Chicago State University. The transcript became virtually useless after Chicago State University admitted him. |
2elliot:He didn't see the need to make corrections. He was transferring credits from a college to a university, and the admission letter from CSU indicated that the university regarded Tinubu as a male. Are you telling me that he should have gone back to the college from where he was transferring credit and corrected a clerical error on a single transcript? Although, lessons are now to be learnt. But anyone in Tinubu's shoes at that time could never have imagined that some petty people would continue to mention a clerical error on a transcript (which was in itself just a means to an end) even when the end (the admission letter to Chicago State University) showed that the clerical error on the transcript was a bygone matter. |
Zupay:He doesn't need to arrest everyone. A few scapegoats is enough. |
The picture of the shoe as evidence is so funny ![]() |
He is not a magician. I didn't expect magic when I rooted for him to win. But so far, he has been a disappointment. I don't regret voting for him, though, because I am not one of those who think any of Obi or Atiku would do a better job. What Tinubu needs right now are good advisers. There is no way anyone would tell me he can't see that the subsidy removal is ill-timed and has failed woefully. Perhaps, he would realize when millions of hungry and frustrated people overrun Aso Rock. He is making the same mistake GEJ made in 2012. |
NLC fighting for their pocket. They forget NLC represents the entire labour force of the country, and not just Federal Government employees. Moreover, the fight is not for a useless increment. An increment of salary by 20% is not going to help any worker in a country with a rapidly increasing cost of living. What will an additional 20,000 naira do for a man with a jobless wife and three children in a country where a bag of rice is nearing 50k and cooking gas is 1000 naira per kg? |
Saskay44:Minimum requirement is an SSCE. But Tinubu went and tendered a bachelor's. It is what you tendered that would be scrutinized. If found that he forged the certificate, his electoral victory would be overturned as a form of disqualification. People who tendered only SSCE will be taken as possessing only SSCE and would be scrutinized based on their SSCE. People like Sowore have only SSCE (as far as INEC is concerned) even though Sowore has a master's degree. No one will drag Sowore over the legitimacy of a bachelor's or master's degree that he did not tender. |
Jen96:I said to myself that it must be delusion. Mercy needs psychiatric help. |
TheEnforcer:Honestly, I think Adekunle's intellect is overrated. He has got the voice and all that to make a good anchor, presenter or all that. He would even make a good Big Brother voice replacement. But I don't see him as intellectual. |
Giel:Damn, this is not how to interpret data. |
This stupid audience have made it obvious that Ilebaye has won. Ebuka should have cautioned them. |
Tinubu needs to reverse the fuel subsidy removal, and put things in place before ever attempting to remove it. |
AwkaFinest:Really? I didn't know about all that. |
But Ilebaye is beautiful sha. |
Eeghe:OK. Thank you very much, Doc. |
Eeghe:Did you mean evictions start by 7pm as usual? |
What time do they start evicting HMs on the finale? |
Giel:Here is my shoulder for you to cry on. |
Sweetpink:Angel said she was leaving her boyfriend for Soma. We all know there was never a boyfriend. |
PegasusSolid:Your idiocy would be staggering if you think that the Tinubu presidency is the cause of the free fall of the naira. You would be a fool if you are one of those who think that any of Obi or Atiku would have fared any better. Anyone who calls for political tolerance is immediately seen as an agbadoist by you shameless tribalists. Well, I am not surprised. After all, even foreign journalists and leaders were dragged by your mob of ignoramuses for appearing to support Tinubu. Who did you not attack? Wole Soyinka. British PM. A CNN broadcaster. In fact, everyone who appeared to call for calm and tolerance was immediately stupidly outed as an agbadorian by a mob of blind idiots who can't tell their right from their left. I will give you an assignment. Go and read about why a currency weakens. Start from there. Perhaps, you will learn not to be quick to jump onto a matter that you have absolutely no knowledge about. |
Rahkman:You tribalists always have a way of imagining tribalism in someone else. Even I, I am looking forward to the Independence Day speech not because I support Tinubu but because I expect him to talk about the fuel subsidy removal which has obviously proved to be hasty decision. I expect him to readjust certain policies which are daily impoverishing the common man. And for your information, Tinubu is the president. If you don't like listening to him, that is your own cup of tea. But just know that he determines a lot in your life. Whatever decisions he makes would, one way or the other, affect you and your loved ones. So, you better get used to having him around. And you should rather pray for him than sulk over an election that your messiah lost. |
Too many intolerant folks here. The OP wrote about weird things that he finds attractive in women, and they start attacking him. Anyway, love is a beautiful thing. I used to be wary of girls with nose studs until I met one who just simply made me fall in love. She had a nose stud. And yes, today, she is my wife. She wears nose studs and used to wear leg chains. She grew up in a Northern state where leg chain was fashion, and not an olosho vibe. She no longer wears leg chain because of being here in Southwest. She wanted to stop using the nose stud too at a point, but I begged her not to. I love the nose stud, and even the leg chain. She has beautiful legs, and so it suits her. |
Olodo24:I don't even understand what you are jabbering on about. I mentioned Mercy's ass, not Nicki Minaj's ass. Whether I am being an hypocrite or not has no bearing on the fact that Mercy's ass looks horrible. You be the judge. Look at the ass cheeks and compare them to the thighs. My issue is not even with the disproportionate ass-to-thigh view. My problem is with her always wanting to flaunt it in our faces. And mind you, I have never praised Nicki Minaj's ass. If an ass is disproportionate, I say my mind about it, even if you are as white as snow. I don't have to hold my truth or my sincere opinion simply because I want to be politically correct. |
