Why will Biggie not just forgive Ilebaye's strikes? Even in the real world legal system, she would have long been pardoned as she has done well in her weeks of probation. |
TemplarLandry:Do you know her that much to just dismiss her story just like that? This was how Mohbad was shouting then. When he died, all of una carry him matter for head. All this record labels are really slavery camps. I remember what Kizz Daniel went through in the hands of that record label where they were paying him like 30k per month. |
The attack on Soyinka shows that many Obidients are senseless and incapable of critical thinking. You don't break up to win elections. Parties had to come together to form APC before they could defeat the incumbent PDP. If you added Atiku's and Obi's votes, you would realize that PDP would have floored APC if PDP didn't break up. Someone is stating the fact, but they are too deaf in their blind loyalty to hear. They will obviously make the same mistake in 2027. |
Raskimonojendor:Piggyvest is not a Ponzi scheme. I am surprised you have never heard about Piggyvest. |
Different strokes for different folks. I love women with cornrows. My wife had her hair packed into a bun when I met and fell in love with her. |
lokoloko84:Easier said than done. Even Jesus Christ sef lost it in the Temple. Your moralistic arrogance sef is a show of weakness. The irony is that you are likely to be a worse abuser than those you so easily judge. Bye!!! |
lokoloko84:Yes, your animalistic side is beginning to show. Hypocrite. I am sure if I were near you now, you would throw a punch. Violence is violence, whether it be against a child or an opposite gender. I don't know why some of you people consider violence against woman unimaginably worse than violence against any human being regardless of gender. I am sure you don't think too much about it when a woman physically assaults a man or a child. Women assault men, assault children, assault their fellow women (usually maids), but these assaults are hardly ever news for judgmental people like you. But once it is a man assaulting a woman, your manhoods start nodding and then you suddenly have an opinion, as per Saint Obi that you are. |
carammel:It is natural to avoid a fight that you would lose. However, humans can be emboldened to fight if they know that the outcome would be favourable or if they feel that they have a protective support. If Doyin and Pere were in a place where there were no rules or cameras, I am sure Doyin would never run her mouth at Pere because she would fear that the outcome would not favour her. There would not be Big Brother's rulebook to restrain Pere from battering her. It is like a child in the presence of her bigger brothers. Such a child might be emboldened to abuse every passerby. But let that child be alone, he would watch his mouth. That is how life is. We may get really angry, but we never lose sight of our chances. If the fight will end in defeat, or if we feel we won't get enough protective cover or support, we would not fight. |
DOptical:Some ugliness are deep. But some are not so deep. |
lokoloko84:OK, if a woman goes haywire on your child, beating him physically, you will use mental strength to save your son? OK. If a woman assaults you physically, grabs your shirt and won't let go. You will use mental strength to get away? If she is not being reasonable, you will try to be reasonable until they break your head. I remembered watching one CBS Reality show. A woman was causing trouble in a mall. Customers were beginning to be scared because the woman had pulled a knife on one of the shop attendants. Someone called the police. A policeman showed up. He took the shop backdoor, approached the woman from the back, grabbed her, and slammed her hard on the floor. The mad woman shouted, "How dare you put your hands on a woman?" The policeman said, "If a woman wants to be a man, I will treat her like a man." |
DOptical:Bleaching can actually improve appearance in some instances. |
lokoloko84:Oshe, strong man. Let me tell you the truth, there is no perfect human being. We are human beings because we have weaknesses. If we are perfect, we would be God. So, stop being judgmental. There is no assurance that you would handle that situation better if you were in Pere's shoes, locked up in a House with some mannerless loudmouths like Doyin, with no escape route to drive out and relax. Let me give you a scenerio. Have you read "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding? Well, it is about English boys who would never have thought that they could harm a fly. At the end of the novel, nearly all of them had turned to savages who had murdered a human being like themselves. In fact, Ralph, joined in the murder of Simon and Piggy excused the deed as a mistake. What did the writer achieve with that novel? It means there is a primal devil in all of us. All that might be needed to unleash this devil can be as little as a change of environment or oppositions. Perhaps, you manage your anger better than Pere, but I am sure you have your own weaknesses too. Would you rather I called you a weak man whenever those weaknesses of yours come to the fore? |
IconicR:Give us three examples of such times? |
You sent your nude to your doctor to see your rash and pile...? She must think we are fools. |
IamKizzbrown10:You have forgotten that even you yourself will die one day. Instead of worrying about that, you are worried about someone else's. |
Any of Adekunle or Ilebaye can win the show. It would make me happy. |
Please, who are those up for possible eviction? |
Taking Mouth Gig from several women? My guy, you are finished o. Your body must be swimming in venereal diseases of every kind. |
Threebear is the GOAT. The organizers kept White Money in that show for reasons best known to them. I hate favouritism. Why did they not evict him? |
Threebear:OK. I want him sent home anyway. Entitled fellows like Mercy need to be brought down from their high horses. This show is not her birthright. If you don't work, you don't chop. |
DrTee1:How does his overconfidence translate to anything? He is confident because he won his own season. It doesn't mean he cannot be evicted today. Although, I doubt that Venita beats him on the poll. I think he is stronger than Venita. But don't use his overconfidence as a benchmark. |
garfield1: ![]() When I began that relationship, I had one thing in mind. To be a proper gentleman, the way my dad brought us up. Respect your woman, and all that. But some people take advantage. Instead of reciprocating, they consider you a weakling and want to take charge. The same thing I did with her was the same thing I did with my wife when we were dating. Respected her, shared chores, gossipped, shared secrets, and all that, but my wife never took advantage. |
ItisHi:How do potential rapists and sex abusers look like? |
Godoverevery:Relationship is not a do-or-die affair. You can change it as many times as possible. I am married now, and my wife and I share a very healthy relationship. Of course, fighting and quarrelling is allowed. But no insult. No disrespect. No raising of voices. Once I am the wrong party, I admit. When she is in the wrong, she admits. We respect each other. We don't talk down or belittle each other by scolding each other like scolding a dumb fellow. When you live under the same roof for 6month to 1yr with your lover.....you go learn how to stomach disrespect once in awhile and patience. When you start stomaching insult, you are becoming helpless and your self esteem is dying. I said it here once that I could see helplessness in Adekunle because I had been there at a time in my life. Coincidentally, the girl was biracial too. At a point, I began to even believe her that I was useless without her. She would gaslight me into believing that I was overreacting when I demanded to be addressed with the same respect that I addressed her with. The fact is that Venita has very little control over her tongue. And if you allow her the liberty, you would never be happy with her. It would get to a stage that you would begin to rationalize the insult sef. It is at that point that you would start saying to yourself after every insult, "I have to be mature. Insult is a part of relationship". My brother, insult does not have a place in a healthy relationship. Don't let anyone tell you abuse is a normal thing in a relationship. It is a red flag. I tell it to my sister as well. There are some subtle abuse that if you don't address would make you end up in an abusive marriage. It is not until a man raises his hand to you before you start thinking straight. If your spouse uses words like " fool, idiot..." during an argument, that is not someone you want to be with. |
Godoverevery:We are talking about a relationship, not a random woman. If you are in a relationship with me, you can't be disrespecting me and expect me to stay in that toxic relationship. |
Godoverevery:Advise your children (if you have any) never to stomach abuse/disrespect. God, we have a long way to go in Nigeria if you think one should be able to stomach disrespect to stay in a relationship. Disrespect is a red flag, especially if the disrespectful partner is unwilling to change. There is nothing healthy or mature about stomaching disrespect. I mean, where I teach, we are not even allowed to talk down on children. Respect is a core part of a healthy relationship. Disrespect, on the hand, is a sign of an unhealthy relationship. |
Godoverevery:There is nothing normal about a grown ass woman running her mouth. Stop enabling bad behavior in women. I mean I hear it even from pastors climb to be marriage counsellors. You will claim the podium and tell men that a woman's power is in her tongue, and therefore men should tolerate verbal abuse from their women. Then, you tell men to always walk away. No! A woman who runs her mouth is not yet an adult. If you cannot trash issues without running your mouth, then you have no business being in a relationship. |
Gbadoboy:This is how you people have normalized verbal abuse. It is offensive. And that is it. In a relationship, there is a way you correct your spouse. In fact, what many of you don't know is that raising your voice is in itself a form of verbal abuse. I tell this to my children. All this nonsense about "women running their mouth" as normal is enabling bad behavior. We might as well start enabling wife beating. Violence is violence, whether it be physical or verbal. |
ColdHunter:Perhaps, they feel the younger one is, the better their chances of being selected. It is common in showbiz. It is understandable in civil service where there is a retirement age or sports where the older you get, the less offers you get (except you are REALLY good). But in showbiz, I don't see the need to reduce age. There is no retirement age. |
IconicR:Evil for being human? If it was a girl that went for a guy like that, we will not hear anything o. Men are human too. Pere had obviously bottled up too much from Doyin. That is why I don't like to conform to society's expectation of men. I clear any rude mofo as soon as possible, whether they be man or woman. That way, I don't keep grudges. If a woman insults me, I don't look away, especially if I can't help it. I will clear you immediately. That way, I don't bottle up emotions and then lose it by going physical. That is why I like Dee-One. Give it to them, and apologize later, if you please. You are doing Mr Nice Guy while suffering inside. Then, when you get pushed to the wall, you want to go physically violent. No. Give it to them, especially if they are not easy on the eye like Doyin. If a duck calls me ugly, I will call them worse names. |
eepeepook:She came covered up for this season, not because of Soma or whether she had grown mature. She is still the same angel, only that she had to change tactics seeing that nudity brings heavy criticism. |
