That's a particular issue this year. We also experience delay release of results to graduating students. Students go to the UK for MSc, complete their studies, receive their results and do convocation under a year. Here in naija 18 months MSc is automatically 3 years... 1yr to 18 months to complete course work, 6 months to a year to finish your project work get your supervisor to sit down and PG school to arrange final defense, 6months to a year for results to be released and approved. Convocation holds 1-3 years later. Nonsense! We are sick and tired our Nigeria's education system.

I spent about 300k to open a retail shop for my peeps to manage back home cos of the recession and because I could no longer keep up with the numerous demands. Mehn, till date the business is nothing to write home about no thanks to the ever rising prices of goods. I now have a plan to make 50k with 50k monthly once I've resolved current matching issues. I told my friends I'm okay with this but them no wan gree... Lol
FYI, Nigerians are full of devices. I have a friend who have raised 20k to over 250k since August. We have run permutations on how to raise 50k to almost 2.5m in about 6 months. Some no one give up even when the system is dealing with them.

Do you know any of the 2+ million participants who is complaining about the scheme? Will such a scheme lead to grassroot economic growth? Have some persons started or upped their businesses with aid of this scheme? Are the kakistomoboplutocrats happy? Can the Nigerian government shut down MMM? Is there any leverage? Lol

All rationale fellows (you may think otherwise) have considered all these before diving in. It's pitiful that some peeps will just google and read Wikipedia upside down. I have met people from all works of life in this current scheme: first class scholars, doctors, oil and gas workers, lecturers, students, teachers, civil servants, even bloggers...
I regretted not joining back in June. I was always like I can't... Always doing like Eureka! This is how it will crash... Run analysis with my scholars... Omo, don't go there. People in the know know. GEJ initiated, even awarded contracts, executed partially but still allowed the bad eggs to kill the initiatives. All states down south need strong legislation on this cattle grazing. That's how cows ate my mum's entire cassava farm back in the village. After all the money and personal effort spent on clearing, planting and chemical sprays, everything was lost. No one to hold. While I was at the village I helped to spray the remaining part of the farm for replanting. The annoying thing in the south-south is that you hardly find their settlement. They only rustle their teeming cattle over our farmlands. I tried to be sarcastic that are they not rearing the cows for you dealers and sellers and she was like the cows down south looks bigger and have more flesh than those from the north. They hardly sell them because they're rearing for some "big men" and have settled the kinds and other local lords. So if you confront them in the bush it's at your own risk.
Last year the cows (supposedly owned by the previous vc) were a real menace in uniben. Cows normally graze the school (not a bad idea) but last year was beyond my 8 years in and out romance with the school. Some lecturers even complained. I hope the situation is different now.
It's time a strict legislations.
