Op, man up and be like a real bro. This morning I asked her if she did biology in secondary school and if she understands this... Then told her to have a nice day.

I said f**k to myself and one of the interviewers caught me biting my lips and he was like gentle man, you speak french? Nay! I mean you curse alot? No sir... Chai. OK, I made a presentation, I planned to end at most 30 secs before time. When I finished, I heard the time keeper said 5 mins, the exact time though but I went biting my lips. Chai. ![]() |
That moment after submitting your video you find out that your did better in your phone camera practice. Please Lord, help my solution. |
What does it profit a sharp Nigeria graduate to go for a job or aptitude test without seeing or familiarising himself with the questions? Don't be deceived competition is very stiff. Nothing prevents you from sharing useful tips but not too detailed test and interview information on a public forum. Finally, getting a job in this modern world --not limited to Naija-- depends on WHO you know... Oh sorry! Relationships and network. |
usqoh:reality is that peeps have helped others like us in time past and those guys are now milli... while the benevolent spirits are still looking for teststreams material. |
Burlah4u2c:You did a personality assessment at the end of your cognitive test and that gives them an idea of your type of person and working styles ![]() |
Cinderella5:Hmm.... The girl isn't broke sha . Broke girls are more of a burden than broke guys. It's very easy for a girl doing well without an ego complex to fall in love with an upcoming guy ![]() |
In Primary, he wasn't actually dull because he was the most renowned barrow pusher in town graduated to okada, own okadas, married with kids and living comfortably in his own way. In Secondary School (SS3 precisely), he couldn't even spell/write his name on answer booklets but he was one of the best footballers around, very skillfull, he went on to roam around some countries for trials and whatever (some became international fraudsters and drug pushers), came back played for some local and popular clubs. The last time I checked, he's working with a construction company, have his own ride and living to his comfort. In the University he behave like one of those useless funny dudes, can badmouth anyone, even claimed he's the dullest in the class. But one day I told him he's in fact very intelligent, I admire the great stuffs he does with computers, he can fix almost anything, he wasn't strong academically because of his focus on computers and campus babes. Oboy, I never here from that dude for years but I believe he'll be doing just fine. Some other between "dull" guys have become over mega... Meanwhile me wey be scholar that year done go nack MSc, still seeking for employment and contemplating PhD, living on the numerous grants I've received through the years Chai. Most of the scholars in my graduating class aren't doing bad, we have representatives in the major countries of the world and some doing great stuffs locally, living fine and on the road to millions . |
Na wa for this generation... No decorum. Someone is even posting sensitive materials on a public forum. You have broken the confidentiality of the testmakers by so doing and already diminished your chances. The yankey guys get these stuffs but would never do as such or you think teststreams got that package on a platter of gold? Please, let's be civilized. Sharing tips is no bad idea and I've done that based on my experience. Most peeps are lucky on nairaland because you use fake monikers and avatars. I've come to realize that recruiters check all your social media pages. Some guys have been asked for their nairaland ID during interviews. Be wise! |
Who's successfully completed the cognitive tests? 50 questions in 12 mins? Hmm. More of speed and accuracy I guess. |
Shell Nigeria Shell Graduate Programme ROLE AVAILABILITY Within our Graduate Programme we have a range of roles for graduate across Technical, Corporate and Commercial areas of our business. We are looking for graduates who Completed their undergraduate degree between 2013 and 2016graduated with a minimum 2:1 (Second Class Upper) degree have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. Course of Study Social Sciences Law Finance Mathematics Statistics Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Petroleum Engineering Metallurgical Engineering Electrical Engineering Geology Roles Available Trainee Commercial Adviser Trainee Production Engineers Trainee Reservoir Engineers Human Resource Analyst Trainee Well Engineers Trainee Discipline Engineers Trainee Project Engineers Trainee Production Geologists Note: Applicants who do not meet the above requirement will be regretted. Please be aware that multiple applications will be disqualified and candidate regretted. Application portal opens 1st June and closes 14thJune 2017. |
Technically, the vacancies are for those who graduated between 2013 and 2015. Shell regret is usually automatic during application as soon as you failed a requirement or any of the online tests. The on-demand video interview submission and final interview may take time to review. Even after completing the online tests you might wait long to get invite for the next stage because I believe they'll still be scrutinizing your application. From, experience peeps get unsuccessful mail from Shell for reasons best known to them after they've previously sent you a success mail for a previous stage. I won't be surprised with the news people will soon start sharing here. So, keep praying as you apply. And update your CVs and cover letters to demonstrate your capacity, achievement and relationship (CAR). That is show that you're a potential, someone who has team work and collaboration skills, and your professional experiences should be stated using an achiever tone rather than a doer. Add any extra curricular stuff you did, volunteer work, church position, etc but stating your achievements e.g ”I helped to achieve so and so as a whatever coordinator working with whatever team", As a member of so so student organization, providing dash dash dash", etc. Note that MSc is like someone who has 2 to 3 years work experience, so even through you have a Nigerian MSc package it very well to demonstrate CAR. Reason is there are now so many shell trained scholars out there and from other specialized institutions in naija majority of whom are first class and distinction. So sir/ma the word is packaging. Whether you meet any of the requirements or not just package and try your luck. 2.2 is instant regret anyway, unless you lie at that stage. Abeg take your time before you begin. Good luck..... |
Please, who knows the format for the next recruitment phase so we can start discussing? |
Who knows about HCP pattern? |
dominique:Thanks... You have answered the question in my mind. There's an obvious link between trauma and miscarriage. A girl lost the pregnancy for her ex when she attempted suicide by slitted her wrists with a sharp razor. She's already passed out before her brother's girlfriend discovered her in the room. Na wa for some girls o. |
Btw, RCCG have some of the best and well dressed choirs and workers. Modest cute and not shabby. I wonder how some people cope in churches where females minister with features and parts of their ministries in full view. Hallelujah! ![]() |
So sometime during this week, I overhead some technicians discussing and making quotations for some jobs in their company. One was like "This job will cost this much, we may not work on this part, this job will not come up,..." and another goes "increase the amount here, even the Engineers will not take you seriously because the amount quoted is too low, write so so amount, this job will not come up but add it, I'll be guiding you on how we do it because you are not used to it". The new guy was stating the right amount for each piece of product and job but was willing to bend to the directives of the senior or experienced colleagues. They were also quick to let him know that the supervising engineers won't take him serious with the supposedly low quotations. Bottom line, corruption is endemic. |

Really interesting to know that we don't have leaders in this country.... All of them were just looking like oles. Workers day celebration, workers agitation abi na demonstration. I loved the display.... Wish everyone will just sit there and refused to go home until Buhari comes to address them ![]() |

seyilapy:My interview is tomorrow, do I need need go with copies of my CV and documents? |
My dear Op, better call on the Refiner's Fire to destroy every dross that wants to cover your glory. Your enemy who just despises you for you, for professing your faith, maybe persecuting you physically aren't the ones we're referring to. There are some people who have gone out of their way to go diabolical against you, to curse, consult spiritual media (witches, occults, demon possessed, familiar spirits, etc) to attack you. For these, you need spiritual warfare. You have to open your mouth to judge, condemn and invoke the killer side of God to work for you through the Holy Spirit (our comforter) in Jesus name. Take a cue from Paul who declared Elymas blind instantly for using spiritual means to hinder the gospel. So you can declare all your desires upon your enemies in life with God's word and it will come to pass because we have a name that is above every other name. I'll leave you with this and it's not old testament... Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you (2 Thessalonians 1:6). |
I won't doubt this story cos police in Rivers have found a new hustle in the renewed anti korkor (anti cultism) fight. If you look suspicious in appearance especially based on dressing, tattoos, dreads, tattered wears, low waist, etc, bruh, you're a high target. I have heard stories of arrests and settlements twice this week. One even said he almost escaped with his cuffed hands because the officer told to watch them goofed as the rest went to look for more peeps to arrest. He was betrayed by a man who saw him where he ran to hide. An argument ensued as the rest officers were mad at the one asked to watch because they could have lost the handcuffs and have explanations to make. The guy, whose dad is a retired police officer was finally released after the uncle settled them with 5k. The other guy was complaining about his incessant harassment in the place I ate this afternoon where some mopols also came to eat. I retorted that those guys are on their own hustle this recession. Lol The idea is that you must part with something whether you are innocent or not. They will threaten to take you to the station where you'll be bailed from 30-50k, accusing and calling you different criminal names. Pray, no tattoo is found in you at the station because that's what they will use to confirm you as a cultist. From stories, once you get to the station or criminal division, they'll segregate the arrestees based on whether they have tattoos or not. Thereafter they'll will conscript some already detained guys to come and confirm you which they'll gladly do. My bruh, if you'll ever come out your peeps will have to cough the region of 100s thousand naira. So my bruh, be very mindful and careful this season. |
Mznaett:Idiotic! Is the boss married to the op? The woman is pure olosho and she's to blame in this case. Or op should go for the boss while his betrayer is sleeping on the same bed with him? |
Adecks01:If it's by all these I'm not doing.... Lol |
adecz:This moniker no get sense Maybe na her salary she wan collect from the boss. ![]() |
My ex doesn't know 1 in mathematics but she made a B2 when she went to write her WAEC in Bayelsa. Don't joke with creeks special centers o. Bayelsa was the main special center for ssce exams for people in the Niger. Or is it Rivers where I served? Okay.... Continue! |
Dino guy has taken over twitter constituency and the whole social media space. Another Senator of the year award is in the offing. |
So true... Those in the technical world know the importance of KISS; keep it simple and short. Last year one of my Oyinbo supervisors remarked that she's observed Nigerians like using words. This was while giving her feedbacks on a colleague's presentation. I don't know why our political elites and journalists like making their messages complex since I've observed that it's quite easier to rephrase while writing than speaking. LOL...since I was young the lines have been the same... Casting aspersions on the person and personality... Insinuations from some quarters... Matters arising... ... Is tantamount to... And so on. |

while the benevolent spirits are still looking for teststreams material.
