Not done yet. Already got contact of 90% of PMs, Homeowners, Engineers and Supervisors building around me.

With right tools and adequate supervision in place, my first time installer was able to pull this off without sweat.

There’s always unrestricted access to electricity on my projects (we don’t wait for bluebird to do this) and there’s almost an equipment for every type of work carried out on site and of course the pay is right.

I stopped manual operations several years ago.

Sometimes, I do have a feeling all these estates are fronts for money laundering, they kept buying lands in HECTARES, Build gigantic FENCE and gate house, sign celebrities as ambassadors and before you know it, the CEOs have started driving Gwagon and lexus 570 with them receiving numerous accolades and awards but guess what?

The estates are mostly empty! We have several of such hyped estates in ogun state with no development happening in the estates for years apart from the Gate house, drainage and fence done.

Good afternoon guys, so straight to the point guys.

I met this girl few months ago and we started talking, ended up asking her out, we started dating, at that time she told me she was single, honestly me too I was.

Fast forward to somedays back, she came to visit and we were cool and all suddenly she started having mood swings and all, I was worried, kept asking what is wrong and she always said nothing, surprisingly someone texted me on whatsapp and was telling me that she was dating her and many other talks, that night i almost had an heart attack. I was beyond surprised till now I am yet to recover from the shock.

When I asked her about the guy she first said that she doesn’t have any other person, when she knew it was very serious she then opened up to me, and told me she and the guy had issues and he broke up with her and that now the guy wants them to come back. I saw her chat with the guy, telling the guy she loves him and will never stop loving him bla bla and telling another person that she misses him but she has decided to stick with me because I've shown her so much love that no one has ever done, and honestly i love 10000%. I treat her like a queen.

Right now i am confused, i asked her now what do you want and she said she wants me, but then she still keeps communicating with the guy and the guy is in same state with her while me i'm far away from her, i don’t even know what do i'm so depressed i have never loved like this before and this is what is getting to me. I can’t even eat or sleep when i remember all of it, i confused if she wants me really or she’s just considering the fact that i'm wealthy.

Guys please constructive criticism are welcomed, please i need advice on what to do I’m madly confused.

I agree completely. That’s exactly the job I’m paid to do.

I’m currently managing a very complex situation in a build.
Two sets of artisans. One is extremely good. The other is average and the client has commissioned them both.

I told the client one will work at the back whole the other will handle the approach of the building.

On my current job, I’m currently working with the designer of this particular project below on the exterior cladding. So it’s really not a job for everyone.

Maybe it’ll cost a little more but at N3,000 / 0.6sqm (excluding studs and installation cost which is considerably reasonable), I think the cost would be cheaper than plastering/screeding/painting or plastering and applying tiles to achieve same result in the long run.

I agree completely but it can’t be compared with the benefits of a material that offers more in terms of value.

1. Low maintenance
2. Durability (doesn’t crack or warp)
3. Aesthetically pleasing
4. Waterproof / Fireproof

We are going to build another edifice in a city I love and have worked in some years ago, Akure, Ondo state. This time around, we have been contracted to build a shopping plaza of 36 shops. Details of the project are as follows;

Project: Construction of 36 shopping units in a plaza.
Location: Akure, Ondo state
Client: A Nairalander
Contractors: Spyder880 building team
Duration: 7 months


Edit:
We have reviewed the terms of this contract and expanded the building plans to best make use of the land here. We have agreed to increase the number of shops we will build here from 36 shops to 63. We have also arranged to reduce the number of staircases to 2.

The width of this land is not as wide as we first thought, so we have agreed to remove the staircase at the middle of the back line. Although this will make the centre of the plaza smaller, we now plan to remove the front columns on the ground floor, and hang the upper passage as a cantilevered projection, freeing more space for use of the plaza.

We will now add more features like a fence on 3 sides and a see through gate at the road line. We will also build the road metal crossing. I will hereby amend the topic of this thread to reflect these changes. Thanks.

I'll go straight to the point. I rented a 2 bedroom flat for my mum last year October, paid agent and lawyer fees, the agent never told me the place has the landlady living in it.

My mum was happy and moved into the apartment, I noticed that after some months she was complaining about the house, I finally went there to see her, guess what? The landlady is a devil in human form, she's an unmarried bitter human who was opportuned to inherit the building from her family.
This woman locked the well and told my mum and younger bro to source for water elsewhere, I was mad when I got to hear what she's making my family go through. I came to the house and removed the padlock she locked the well with, she called my mom and told her to pack out when her rent expires next week.

Well, since she thinks the world revolves around her and wants everyone to fear and worship her, I'll show her what real madness is.

I have decided to ask her for a refund of the agent and lawyer fees I paid since it's barely one year, she can't stress my family this way and get away with it.

To everyone reading this, I have one advice, never live in the same building with the landlord or you would have yourself to blame at the end of the day.

Please nairalanders, Is my action justified?

And a one who can help answer it.
Lands in epe axis for agriculture cost between 1.5m or so per acre.
This is around at Augustine university.
But most factories and farmers choose to go to Ogun state, some places as far as 3 hours drive to Lagos.
Lands there cost 300k to 500k per acre.

Pls I will will to ask why people take that decision
Knowing fully well that cost of transportation to Lagos will tell

UK should be added on the list. The rising case is worrisome but I doubt if our govt would do that but the UK can quarantine us for 10 days and say our vaccination would never be authorised by them, after sending us the astrazeneca vaccine which they produced themselves. Useless peeps

I heard they are also very good like Ariston, but when I heard that many people have started to make fake Ariston with two 'R'. So I bought about 20 Sweethome since they are relatively new in the market, and since they will be trying to corner a good market share, I believed this first batch Sweethome manufactured will be a good quality. This is for a future project we are planning.

I want to read up on building a house from scratch...to enable me have a prior knowledge of the different stages.... first step till the last stage.

With the small fund I have been able to save, I wish to build a three bedroom flat on my land. What are the processes, yes I am aware I need the services of an engineer, builder etc but I equally wish to sound professional while engaging them before they deal with me lol

If here is not the right place, kindly recommend a thread...simply put...I want to save cost at any given opportunity
