I am sure there are many many women out there that cook for their families. Those that don't/can't cook are in the minority. But there is also a rising number of men who cook for themselves and their families- at least in my circles. Cooking is a new adventure that I have taken to and hence don't need no woman for it. ![]() |
I have an in-explainable aversion for yellow custard. I can't stand oily soups like they make them in the western part of the country, heck, very little of Yoruba dishes meet my approval. (No disrespect) Meals with large amounts of onions especially when it is cut in large bits are a no no for me. Strangely, I enjoy raw onions with suya. |
Hmmm.Ladies could be so sentimental. They`ve always been sentimental. They`ll always be sentimental.Hence their judgements sometimes. A lady posted that she caught her man cheating, and MOST of the ladies that responded were like "cut him loose" not caring to be decent in their choice of words. Here`s a man that caught his wife cheating and the GREATER number of y`all are on the soft lane.Hmmmm, Na Wa 4una oh
This is the problem I have with some comments here on NL; there is an insanely unfair bias towards the menfolk around here. I mean take a look at the bolded quote below.chaircover:A blatant attempt to justify women (and at the same time condemn men). It is this type of reasoning that appears to be in the majority among the ladies here. It is stereotypical, unfair and untrue. |
Uncle Sani the real bad guy. ![]() No time for activity, just issue the order whether it makes sense or not and let the people deal with it. No time. ![]() |
Kai, see face. Nigeria stars don suffer. |
That was beautiful. The setting looks like some hamlet near Onne, Rivers state. Or maybe Delta State . . . I know is entirely fictional though. |
^ Funnily the OP continues to defend his lame points. |
dominique:So why are you re reading it? |
More good PR for Fashola. ![]() |
Her publicists will probably be pleased with themselves for starting such a buzz however unlikely. Clever |
It will be shocking to see that the James Bond movie franchise will descend to the level of including a so-so actress as a Bond girl, because that’s what GN is. Starring in such a movie is a feat reserved for deserving international stars not local champions. But if this happens then my fears that the whole franchise has gone to the dogs will only be confirmed. |
Somebody upload the album already! ![]() |
Unless the caller has excess phone airtime the joke will be on him. Nice one. |
It appears food is the last thing on anybody's mind here. Firearm's kitchen should be renamed Nookie kitchen. ![]() |
Jakumo! You are killing us here. ![]() |
Na here una wan dey advertise abi? ![]() |
People cheat. Men and women. It is annoying to hear statements like all men cheat. Any woman who says such is effectively saying her father, brother and son also cheat. |
OP and his man have erased their posts. Must have had a rethink about discussing this issue in public. I don't blame them. |
Some of the comments here reeks of stereotyping men. Sheessh! ![]() |
I'm looking forward to seeing your work. |
^ Give her a chance so she can make the franchise unwatchable? No way. |
and how much is this and where can i get it
The NGP now rechristened PSVita will sell for $249 (wifi) and $299 (3G) later this year. You can read more about it here http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/06/sonys-playstation-vita-official-3g-available-only-through-atandt/ This is looking good for Sony, they are heating up the competition for Nintendo's 3DS. |
I can imagine the level of intimidation that will be employed by a representative when he gets wind of the move to recall him by his constituency. |
^ Was going to say same. That demographic is limited, it excludes the likes of moi. ![]() This is quite interesting. Me and many of my peers grew up reading comics. This was mostly done during my primary school and early secondary school years. Sometime after that comics became rather scarce. I think this was partly due to economic reasons – the comics practically disappeared from the shelves of many stores and the fact that cable TV was the new found love for us youngsters back then. Or maybe this was just one of the effects of the death of the reading culture in Nigeria; comic book reading was no longer a popular pastime. I think the interest still lingered though, we usually followed the stories on TV and continued to discuss them. It would be quite nice to see what the OP has to offer. |
These pictures don't look like an arrest to me. Dude is walking in unshackled. |

Nairaland has a Facebook like button now? Interesting. |
Ujujoan:That sounds like the excuse 3 year olds use when they are reprimanded. ![]() |
pastormrs:Good life must have a different meaning now. A life with 30K salary sounds more like hard life to me ![]() Marriage is not about money, true but money will make a lot of things much better in marriage. |
MistaMan:I understand it's tough getting a job these days. I actually posted my comment without reading your own side of the story. My bad. As I said I think that you guys (the couple) should consider the stern reality that marriage isn’t the way forward. I say this because I am convinced that marriage is a union that should be entered into ONLY when both parties are wholly on the same page, i.e. the same spiritual outlook and values. There is no point in spending the rest of your precious earth life in a union you derive no positive gains from. |
Ujujoan:Its a little too late, the baby don already arrive. ![]() Some people's lives have so much drama it's amazing. Anyways it appears the couple is incompatible given the constant fights and disharmony. I think they should accept the reality that marriage between them won’t work and make some sort of arrangement to cater for their child. It’s a tough situation already, they should pick up their lives and move on. He can start by doing as Ujujoan suggested and get himself a job |
Ujujoan:Don't make it a man thing. Both parties - the man and woman appear to be behaving rather immaturely here. |
