Apparently some NLanders think they can score points by being uncivil and insultive. Pity. How that person’s rejoinder to my post does any justice to their side of the argument is beyond logic. A classic case of ignoratio elenchi. |
I didn't know private body guards in Nigeria are authorized to carry assault rifles, let alone similar ones as used by the govt. Things might not be so bad in Nigeria after all. ![]() |
Somebody once quoted the following lyrics that aptly describes this situation (indeed almost all issues we deal with on here) The average man can't prove of most of the things that he chooses to speak of And still won't research and find out the root of the truth that you seek of - Patience Nas & Damain Marley |
Many people don’t even know what they are agitating about. Here is a something to think about: “The ethical principles on which Islamic finance is based may bring banks closer to their clients and to the true spirit which should mark every financial service,” - The Vatican. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aOsOLE8uiNOg&refer=italy |
It’s because the vast majority of non Muslims in our country are southerners and they are wary when anything that seems linked with Islam is brought up. |
Eko Ile:In it Nigeria it appears even big shots can employ the services of the SSS. So that’s probably how an operative of the government’s intelligence outfit can be hired as a bodyguard to Pastor Big Daddy or whatever he is called. |
Jakumo:The rifle in question looks more like the Tar-21, the standard issue rifle of the SSS. |
There are dozens of companies that can supply handcuffs and other security equipment. The police should just place a tender for all they need, the funds will be made available if the government is serious about fighting crime. No need to come to the press and tell all. |
Naruto vs. Itachi/Nagato? |

I'll rate the president less than average on everything. I'm still waiting for the fresh air. |
Really good food blog I must say. |
I’d prolly go with V3 that Naruto is the strongest of the lot. There seems to be no stopping of that Jinchiruki chakra. Personally I think Itachi was one of the strongest, he was quite a formidable Akatsuki member what with his Amaterasu, Genjutsu, Susanoo and Tsukuyomi but alas he had to fall under the hands of Sasuke. |
Off course the state can't pay the minimum wage but car pledges to traditional rulers will be redeemed somehow. |
^ Such tales will no longer work on the current generation of youngsters. They were for a time when people had simpler minds. ![]() |
Off course trust NLanders to make so much fuss about all this. The 1800s was a period in the history of Europeans and just because that was the period when colonization was in vogue doesn’t mean they should hide it entirely. You guys give off the impression that colonization was the worst evil to visit the earth. The couple chose to celebrate their wedding in the theme of that period, deal with it. |
Fried rice, plantain and moi moi from the new canteen that opened up near my office. Lovely! |
