One of the things that endeared Mary in Jesus heart was the seed of precious ointment she poured on Jesus's legs. While Judas was thinking like you, which is not suppose to be bad thing but in context it is cos lack of spiritual understanding, Mary was showing love, submission and sowing a seed of faith buy wasting that very expensive oil on Jesus's feet and with her tears.

That oil was an asset and could have been used to finance so many good deeds and just like Judas thought it was a waste, since they could make so much money from it and probably give it to the poor as you would suggest, Jesus saw it as an act of worship and ever since, Mary and her family, Martha and Lazarus kept experiencing the miraculous and been spoken of generation to generations.

The church will do the right thing when they know the real story, I believe and am sure theywill guide him on the right thing to do. They won't throw the man's family out but please, there is nothing wrong with the man's action of which I believe he owns the property and he only acted on his beliefs. We all do and the church has done nothing wrong either.

Let me clarify that am not against giving. Giving of tithes & offerings is Biblical. If you feel led to give something to your pastor, I have no problem with that. My issue is when the doctrine of sowing seed is overhyped at the expense of the true Gospel. Those preaching it come with verses to push you towards giving & making it seem like you giving that thing, will cause God to give you something in return. God is not like the genie On Alladin’s lamp where you rub the lamp & then he appears & disappears. God doesn’t need anything from you in order to bless you. Yes He requires your obedience & He May specifically ask you to give something. However , until you’ve heard from God, quit thinking that you have to give God something before He can bless you in return. The earth & the fullness thereof belongs to God! The Gospel
of sowing seed as it’s preached today, it’s been turned into a manipulative doctrine to brainwash followers into giving without being coerced. Manipulation & witchcraft are 1st cousins.

No, don't get it twisted. Am sure there is an explanation to this. If the title document is with the guy and it is in his name, he has the exclusive right over the property and if he wishes to express faith with it, there is no crime in it. When it comes to faith, nothing is too big. In fact, the stronger the faith, the greater the result. I express faith and I get results. Its not about the church, its about the person.

Those that kill or does rituals, on what premises do you think they act on if not faith and belief. Tho they belief in the wrong things but it still works for the as they believe and such is only temporal.

But on the issue of the family, I know if the genuine story comes out, the problem the family has is that they can't comprehend and are deeply upset that the property they depend upon was sowed to a church. And am sure if the church is aware, they will either call the guy and let him know the right thing to do concerning his seed before it is been used for the intended purpose or completely back off where there is no amicable resolution but for the family to be blackmailing the church for the choice of their son, it is utter rubbish.

This doctrine of sowing seed is making people go mad. I belong to the old school Christianity. He started with a car, now is a house. Wait a minute, does the church care about where he’ll be sleeping? Okay let’s even assume what you said is true that the family wants to keep the house. Isn’t there a blessing in honoring your parents especially now that it sounds like they have nowhere to go? Which kind of church is this that’s being driven by what they’ll get after selling the house without caring about where the old man will sleep? Wisdom is profitable to direct. Some of this faith is turning to madness. When it comes to giving it’s good to use your head, not just the heart. Worst is to give because of emotions, not because you heard from God. When it comes to giving, I’d rather support the poor or those in need. The pastors are already wealthy. One was even bragging how he acquired a 3rd private jet during covid, while some members don’t own a bicycle. God owns the silver & gold. He is not expecting me to walk naked in the name of giving all to Him.

The Church should do the Needful by returning the Said documents to the Family!

I’ve seen you receive very scary reports from “Nairaland doctors”. You’d be surprised to learn that some of those advising you may have the herpes virus and not even know it . People innocently share spoons or innocently share each other’s drinks. Just like the common cold virus, we’ve all been exposed to the herpes virus in one way or the other though some may not have the virus actively. That’s why you see doctor’s are hesitant to test for it because many people already have antibodies.Someone exaggerated that it’s worse than HIV. Don’t you think doctors would be doing a lot of campaigning against it? It’s spread through body fluids in both sexual & non sexual manner. It can spread through saliva if someone has an active phase. However, the virus lives quietly in the body but can be triggered by stress or hormonal imbalance. It becomes active for a week to about 2weeks at most. There are some drugs given to quicken the recovery period both in the form of topical creams for the blisters or in the form of pills.There are meds given to be taken when the symptoms are felt or doctors can prescribe others to be taken daily on a low dose for a certain period to reduce breakouts. You’d be surprised to learn the percentage of the population that has the virus. Talk to a doctor for more advice and for help to decide whether you’ll go forward with the relationship and how you can cope if genital herpes is involved.

I thought I knew what dirtiness was until my cousin's sister started living with us. We gave her a room, a roof over her head until she finds her bearing.

She's an orphan, almost going to 28 years, and sells food on Sundays for cash.

But, looking at her, she's the replica of the word 'unappealing.'

Her hair is always shabby, dirty, and she never attempt to even braid it to keep it in order. Black is beautiful, but hers comes in brown patches and acne.

She doesn't even care.

We have a water closet, and she's ready to keep popping without an attempt to flush. The last time I traveled and left the home for a week, the toilet was beyond what I could comprehend.

To the point I had to do renovation, repainted the wall, and had to hire a cleaner to help wash the toilet thoroughly.

I couldn't risk catching a disease doing it myself. That was how bad it was.

After doing all these, she stopped using the toilet, but would prefer to pop in the compound with a black nylon at night.

Sometimes, she even forget to throw them away. I had woke up very early in the morning. Saw her bucket and wanted to use it, what I saw changed my day.

I saw her feces, and since then I vowed never to touched a bucket that is isn't mine.

Aside from her protruding stomach which she does little to hide, the wrapper she wears every evening have never seen water in months.

Women are supposed to be conscious of their unclothedness, but not this cousin of mine.

She can avoid all the bathrooms, and choose to bathe outside in the open at night.

Like, around 8 to 9 pm when everyone is still very much awake.

Sometimes children will bump in on her unintentionally, and the kid will run away traumatized by what he or she have seen.

I dare not go into details to recount how she prepares the food she sales, and how dirty her coolers and kitchen utensils can swim with maggots for 6 days before she finally washes them on Saturday and prepares food on Sunday for her esteemed customers.

She's not beautiful facially, nor wear makeup or earrings since it's against her belief.

Doesn't wear clothes that suit her. If she dresses like an mbeke, that wouldn't be a problem. I just don't understand her dressing at all, coupled with her dirty look.

When it comes to religion, hers is the worse, jumping from one church to the other. And worse, we hardly sleepy at midnight.

She is always in battle with demons, with her speaking of tongues that don't just sound ridiculous, but deafening and irritating.

She's just 28, and I doubt if any man has ever stopped her on the road, and I still suspect she have never laid with a man before.

She's not mentally unstable if that is what most of you might think.

She's lively, knows how to joke and hold conversations like we all do. But when it comes to her body, grooming, overall cleaningness, she's zero.

There are grades of dirtiness, but when it comes to a stage where someone now dines and wines with feces, then there is a problem somewhere.

She's shapeless and doesn't want to do anything about it despite my numerous advise. She eats junk, like...

She runs to the backyard, gets some vegetables and fry it up with some concoctions and food is ready.

I know all their foods, and the things she cooks is nothing less than a concoction. I've eat her food once and my stomach testified.

A thoroughly analysis of her personality fascinates me to some extent. Is this her personality? Something that is genetically engineered into her that she has no control over?

If one has a deep wound and they want it to heal, they must be willing to expose that wound for cleaning & dressing until it heals. Covering it up will only leave it smelly and infected. With that said, it’s you that has to deal with your cousin on a daily basis. I am just wondering at what age her mother passed on & if there was a lady who filled that gap and played the mother role? What was the environment she grew up in like? Let me tell you that people do a lot of crazy things to numb their pain. It could be a loud cry for help. However some are just ill mannered. Now that you are willing to help, I think it’s time you sat your cousin down & had an honest adult conversation with her. Let her know that not only is using buckets unsanitary but, it’s also making people very uncomfortable. Mention her love life & let her know that if she desires marriage, no man will take her seriously when she’s looking unkempt & doesn’t care to clean her environment. After that let her know that she needs to change her ways or you’ll no longer be able to accommodate her as others in the home are unable to cope with her mannerisms.No more shitting in bags and must clean up after herself. No storing dirty dishes overnight, must keep dishes clean. You can help get her a blow dryer for her hair if she doesn’t believe in relaxing & also styling gel which helps keep the hair neat. You also can get a female relative or friend to teach her how to shave, use deodorant & body spray & she doesn’t have to buy expensive ones. They don’t cost much.The lady can also help her shop for beautiful well fitting & modest clothes. Also, let her see a doctor for her acne. Let her know that she can be decent & stylish & doesn’t have to look like a grandma in the name of religion. Outsiders or Nairalanders will not do it for you. You must let her know how you feel.

We know you are tied. You have sacrificed your voice on the altar of greed and money. That’s why you cannot point out societal evils for what they are. You’d rather turn a blind eye & look the other way, because you cannot afford to offend your master. Such a shame! It’s like our African leaders have been bewitched. My native Kenya is no better!

What's happening in my brothers marriage is painful to me because I know the financial investment and sacrifices he puts into it. I don't know what he did to his wife but she has turned his children against him.

I think your brother needs to exercise tough love. I don’t see how children living under my roof & depending on me fully will disobey me. In this life, no relationship can thrive without reciprocity. If someone is always taking and adding nothing, the other party will soon get exhausted. With that said, he needs to come out of his shell & be a man. Seems like he lets the wife have her way. Sometimes it could be caused by infection but in most cases when the testicles are not too descended it occasions sweating down there due to friction between the thighs and the balls. So the best is to see if no infection and then observe the techniques I outlined in my post. I know this because I am one of those not too big or too descended guys. Let's not lie here.

Have you considered seeing the doctor? It could be an infection. Do you have discharge, are you itchy or do you have pain? Some infections may not have symptoms with men as they would with women. Think it would be good to have a doctor rule out any infection.

So I am a primary 4 classroom teacher and I love my children and ensure that they learn in the best way possible.

Most times I gather them around me and tell them some real life lesson, current events, science, stories, and even show them YouTube videos of some topics or discussion we had.

I was just reminiscing about what these children have done to me innocently that almost put me in trouble.

One day, before teaching a particular topic, I decided to watch some YouTube videos. One of the talkative's in the class managed to find her way to my table and saw me watching the videos.

She went back to her classmates and of all things to tell her classmates, she told them that she saw me watching a video with two naked girls and a man.

Damn It was just youtube videos. I don't know what she saw that made her conclude such. I had to quickly call all the kids together and show them what i was watching, because I knew that from class it will definitely get to their houses and that could be the start of some problem.

Another day, one of the little ladies wrote me a letter detailing how she likes my teaching and don't want me to go. According to her, I should keep teaching her till she leaves the school.

She kept asking me for a reply. I still wonder how I wriggled out of that situation.

Another one was another little lady coming to sit on my leg and gbam it spread... I initially waved it off till the proprietress called me to be wary of the kids

The little guys don't have problem apart from always reminding me of the gifts I promised them for whoever comes out best in any challenge I give.

Not really. You almost got yourself in trouble & you’ll soon land in trouble if you don’t learn to set boundaries with children. You are an adult, stop treating them like your age-mates. In the real world, we don’t use our cellphones while on the job. It’s surprising to learn that you were watching YouTube videos while in class.As a teacher, you need to know when to draw the line. A teacher allowing students to sit on his laps is not only inappropriate but has potential to land you in jail. They are kids and not your children or friends.You need to learn some boundaries. 1. Let the students sit on their desks as you teach. 2.Avoid becoming too familiar & comfortable with your students to the point of showing them videos or sitting together. 3. Let any student with an issue see you in the staff room where you have other teachers around. Also, if they don’t understand a topic, let them request that you explain while still in class.Avoid meeting with students while alone. Am not a teacher, never been but maybe teachers would be in a better position to give advice.

This will only make sense if you stop schooling all together. Let them stop schooling so they can play very well and enjoy their childhood. This is a form of schooling. That he is wearing dirty cloths doesn't mean he will be abused neither does it mean he will be carrying engine. As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, I think we Christians are deviating from the teachings of our lord Jesus christ. Jesus never told us to celebrate his birth but his death. Christmas is a pagan god celebration and real Christians should not partake in celebrating Xmas. Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December as people believe but many have been misled to celebrate this abomination called Xmas for too long by irresponsible religious leaders who are meant to guide people with the word of God. My old grandma was born at a time when Africans didn’t know the importance of dates & records. She doesn’t know her exact date of birth. That doesn’t stop us from picking a time each year to celebrate her & make sure she understands how much she means to our family.It’s the same thing in our Christian Faith. There would not have been the death of Christ without His birth . When we celebrate Christmas, we are not saying that He was born on the 25th, we’ve just picked a day to celebrate the fact that God was so gracious that He gave us His son. Whether He was born on the 25th or not, the date is irrelevant. We just celebrate His birth.It don’t mean we’ve turned pagans . I don’t know your source of information that those of us that celebrate Christmas will end up in fire. People need to stop trying to wear God’s shoes. They are too big for any human to fit into. That’s your man made teaching. I didn’t see it in the Bible.

I’ll keep saying this, Africans let’s build or rent homes with fire escape route in mind. In the US, the windows have a mesh that comes off and one can jump off. The ceiling also opens up providing an escape route. All these metal bars on windows don’t help matters Incase of a fire outbreak.Plan your house with an escape route in mind to increase the chances of survival.So sad. R.I.P!

You need to see a board clergies dermatologist for skin peel. Also use of skin vitamin C helps with growth of collagen which in turn helps the skin look more youthful . Look for vitamin c with ascot jc acid. Stay away from lightening creams.
