Really women are insecure now due to fear of being raped or molestation. But the fact is if women will adopt some steps then i see them being protected throught their lives.
1.Decent dressing: this is very good point because it prevents men from been sexaul arousal.
2. Never go/travel far alone without a male companion. Some might neglect this point but it is very impotant, if u always take a responsible guy along with you, truly speaking that fear will not be their.
3.Don't get out of your house any time u feel like: women need to understand and have it at the back of their that "they are the weaker sex" is a good thing because, in life if you don't know your strenght and weekness you are doomed, u use strenght wisely and avoid areas of your weekness. Women should learn to chose time and place wisely. It will help
4. Try to have a good character and reputation in your environment/responsible: When you behave very well in your neigbourhood and mingle with responsible people, i doubt if anyone will like to rape u or would to see u been raped.
5. Be intelligent/Current: this suppose to be number one, in todays world one thing i keep telling people is that innocence noadays is not an exuse, infact people nowadays are looking for innocent people go prey on. So ple always be aware of latest information so as to take advantage of it.
This is the few points i can say i hope it will help. May almighty God protect us and our loved ones.

1. There is nothing like decent or indecent dressing... a woman is free to wear whatever she wants and you are responsible for looking away.
