My fellow Nairalanders I think someone is monitoring my calls.

It all started when I was chating with my business partner on whatsapp and I was explaining some stuffs to her and she didn't understand so she called my number for me explain better so when she called my number
Someone picked The call and said his name is David.

She had to send me a message on whatsapp to tell me what happened but then I was shocked because I didn't even see any call.

So I told her to call me again she called the same number the second time then I picked The call and we talked but she didn't believe I was The one who picked the call so I had to send her a message on whatsapp to tell her I'm The one who picked The call this time.

She had to call again and the David guy picked it up again.

One thing is for sure I also go by the name David but I never in my life introduce myself as David.
I go by the name Noble.

Months had gone by and today it happened again

I was chating with a close friend of mine on whatsapp and he called me to tell me about a link he sent to me on whatsapp.
But guess what
Someone picked it up again and said his name is David.

Like I don't understand.
My friend had to whatsapp me to tell me what happened and I haven't even replied him because I've concluded my sim has been cloned or hacked by some David guy.

Please if you can help me say something

This sim card is really important to me hence I Have over 8k whatsapp contacts and almost all my clients call me with this number

All online registration I've done is with this number

An average woman doesn't think deep and logically hence, why they make silly mistakes.

I guess you didn't lose your job cos of something bad u did but due to the state of things generally in the country and I personally believe she should be understanding and not pass aggression on you.

Rather you should both figure out what to do to keep your heads afloat ...

I want to buy a laptop(foreign Used) but I am kind of confused on which laptop is the best for me. I just want a Perfect laptop with good processor speed graphics card that can play GTA 5(gaming) for me and carry other heavy softwares.

U need a laptop with discrete graphics card like Nvidia and good ram starting from 8gb.

For your budget, I'm not sure u can get Dell but hp elitebook 8540p or those series will fit your budget

My first daughter is 5 years old and my second daughter is 2 years old .

Ever since they were born , there has been a tussle between myself and my parents ( mother especially) to allow my daughters go for Female Genital Mutilation due to the reason that females that don't do it tend to be promiscuous in life .

Let me start by saying am in a depression zone/confused. I'm almost 20 and my parents have never mentioned anything about sex to me, not even to tell me me about abstinence.

When I was in secondary school, I hear my friends discuss about the things their parents told them about sex, especially that infamous line "don't allow a boy to touch you, if not you'll get pregnant" , and I'll laugh with them but I could never relate. Mine does that too.

2 things.

1. Your laptop is draining or demanding more power than it needs due to a big fat charger or
2. You have lowered your gen output capacity to save fuel, u know, naija sense.

I use a 4.7A output charger for my 8540p and I've been using it with APC power surge since August 2017, never got a downtime or HDD issues. Upgraded to SSD and it's been awesome except the silly overheating due to that thermal paste isssh ....

When I press the power button the power light flashes green 3 time very fast then turns red and goes off. ( While doing this the fan comes on then goes off)

Remove the battery.
Disconnect the laptop from power supply
Press and hold down the power button for about 30 seconds
Reinsert the battery, connect the power supply and power on

Learn cinematography and video editing with a lil compositing ....
Add a lil mix of music, say, piano ... And a bit of computer repair ...Mac and Windows ...

Nairaland Car Gurus please help me find permanent solution to my golf 3 car(America spec) doing overheating barely every day

I started experiencing this over heating after the change of fuel pump and speedometer censor was changed by a recommended Rewire

I'm using this golf for commercial business, nothing give me any issue in the car than this over heating, is becoming embarrassing when I carry passengers and it started. the car is clean and engine is working fine

it's relay today, it's the water in the radiator boiling tomorrow, I'm becoming sick of this. my mechanic told me when it started this night that my gasket is damaged in the process. I put water in the radiator everyday because of this over heating

please what do you guys suggest as the permanent solution to this over heating gazzuzz Sienna royallord1 and others and I wouldn't mind a recommendation of good Rewire. I reside in Lagos.

A friend once told me something about volks and overheating.

Said it usually that plastic reservoir (that round plastic like ball) that's always the culprit.

Once it's broken or has the tiniest hole, over heating starts.

Try change that and look at the one u are buying carefully to ensure its not broken and gummed

1. core i7 quad or hexa (6) core with turbo boost
2. Minimum 8gb ram and ensure its upgradable to 32gb
3. For ultimate performance, ensure the storage is SSD based or better. If it's has dual HDD bay, primary should have like 256gb SSD then the other bay can have like 500gb or 1tb hdd. (For storage)
4. Nvidia graphics card with 2gb vram
5. Fast WiFi and Bluetooth is a must
6. Check that there is enough heat vents

Currently I've deleted everything on my internal storage, I could have Free storage of 2gb before 24hrs... My phone will eat up.
It's really frustrating, I can't view WhatsApp status and other stuff.
Phone cleaners only solve the problem temporarily and it's sucks.

All apps are installed on SD card and some apps like WhatsApp wouldn't installed or be moved to SD.

Whatsapp is always hungry for space. Anyone with idea how to fix this permanently?

The culprit is your app cache.

Go to settings, apps, select Facebook or Instagram, check space used on the phone by clicking on the app, storage then select storage and clear cache.

The Instagram cache can get as big as 2gb, especially if u consume a lot of Instagram info.

Had same issue on my phone and that's what's I did to free space.

Update: Another thing that takes space is your WhatsApp local backup files. It's can take as much as 1gb sef so what I do is check date and leave 2-3 most recent backups while deleting the others. Check the 2nd screenshot

I had a girlfriend some few months back before the covid 19 outbreak, that was after we went home from school due to the strike and the pandemic, we both are in the same school which is IBB university lapai, in our final.

So at home this faithful day, I put a call through! We both were talking, laughing on phone, so she ask about my mum, I said she was fine and she now ask abt her loneliness because no one at home, I told her but I'm still here with her, she ask what if school resume and what if we should go for our service next year, she now told me to marry another man for my mum.... lol... telling me who knows" that my mum might like the idea if I should table it with her. Gosh! I actually laughed about it then on phone with her but inside me, it wasn't funny at all.

The next day, what she told me was still bordering me, so many things were just running on my mind...so even if by mistake I wife her in future and the Lord decide to take me when we have a grown up child like me, who is planning on becoming a graduate this year and have even spent 30 years in marriage already....she won't even mourn me for long before accepting another man's proposal or bleeping with another man or probably her one time ex.

I decided to ask my mum with play, mum be sincere to me, you and my dad have been married since far back 1986... U both were in marriage for about 30 yrs before he past away few years ago, may his soul rest in peace..this is 5yrs now are you considering on marrying any one or having any kind of body movement or even can stand the presence of another man in your life?

Eeya, there is no cause for alarm.

If her asthma is lets say medium, as in, she doesn't use inhaler, blessed art thou my brother!

Just ensure she keeps away from:

1. dust (rug, etc) and if u must use rug, get a vacuum cleaner. Toks na around 7k
2. Fumes from fried or smoked stuffs - triggers the attack
3. Keep her away from cold (not all of them react to that sha but just take precaution)
4. Always ensure u have Salbutamol or ventolin tab (4mg) around and with her! It does work magic when used! Then take her outside to a well ventilated area! They always need fresh air! 10 - 20mins, she is fine!

Now, if her case is severe, as in she uses inhaler, then u have no choice than to do 2-3 weeks ajo (contribution) to buy inhaler and still adhere to those conditions above.

When she gets pregnant and its time to deliver, ensure u use a "good hospital where they know what they are doing".... They will know the sort of stuffs to give her.

Most of them are always strong when they get preggy! But ensure, inhaler or salbutamol is always nearby!

There are herbs to flush this thing out but i'm yet to meet someone with the right combination!
