Spirit04:I feel you. I call both these states home, having lived in both. Its soon shameful to see the level of infrastructure decay. These states should be among the best in the nation, on terms of roads, schools, hospitals... |
There is really NO debate on this matter. it's got nothing to do with weather one supports or opposes Tinubu. The rules are CLEAR and Supreme Court precedence is unequivocal. If you present a forged certificate, you stand disqualified. The Supreme Court may refuse to rule on this based on 'technicalities' but that is really not the point anymore. The man is an illegitimate president, and he will now have to deal with all the consequences of that, both local and international. |
Edo no dey carry last.! |
Once the certificate is proven to be FAKE, then Tinubu automatically becomes an illegitimate president. I agree the corrupt Supreme Court will not remove him, but we will just have to see how an illegal president governs Nigeria for the next 4 years |
This so called SAN is very stupid. Who said the release of the transcripts is for Nigeria's corrupt supreme Court? The aim is to totally humiliate and exspse Tinubu globally. |
Ondo voted for Balablu, so na their toro be this one. |
Pigstormentor:BAT will soon claim he is non binary, and should be referred to as They/Them! |
We are a state of norms and values if a child errs and apologises, they should be forgiven. kudos to both of them. |
Winning123:There's no pain for me. I am proud of the stand I took against Oshimole and Tinubu and if a similar situation presents itself, I will take EXACTLY the same stand. It's about PRINCIPAL OF DEMOCRACY. Its not personal at all. If Obaseki tries to do the same, he will get exactly the same attack from me and like minded people. You see EDO NO BE LAGOS. We DO NOT accept godfathersim in this state, whoever is trying to do it. |
Why is the black man so primitive? Did we not all support Obaseki when Comrade was trying to deny him the tight to go for a second term? Why now is he doing the same to Philip? Philip has every right to contest and Obaseki has every right to support whoever he wants. Let us please try and practice civilised politics. |
YoungLionken:Louder for those at the back of the class! This is exactly what I've seen in most cases. The woman becomes 100% a mother totally ignoring the man. Is it any wonder that the man's eyes start to wander? If women only knew how EASY it is to keep their man. Just pet him now and again and ensure the house is a tranquil place, where he's at peaceand is well fed. Trust me that man will pet and care for such a woman to the excusion of all smallies and side chicks. |
What you need to understand is that all these were actually incorrect figures. We keep hearing how Niara was so strong in the past, but the truth is the currency was tightly controlled and only a few people had access to it. Many firms had already started going out of business in the 80's due to lack of FX. If you wanted to travel the govt restricted the amount of FX you could take (It was called BTA, Basic travel allowance and you had to get it form the bank) Those figures are just propoganda |
Extremely stupid comment, that he's got no way of achieving. Look everybody please get it into your heads, Nigeria's economy will only grow, when the basics are in place. Sufficient Power for industries, efficient and extensive transport infrastructure, and internal security. If all of these 3 things are not in place, then Nigeria CAN NOT grow it's GDP. No CBN governor can change that |
Let the Naira Crash. Nigerians say they are mad, they must eat foreign food, wear foreign clothes, must use foreign hair.... The market is the ultimate tool for behavioral change, as the Naira continues to crash and imports become more exspensive, people will be FORCED to change their consumption pattens. |
RepoMan007:Dangote is going to sell refined products in Dollars, so his refinery will not do anything to improve the strength of the niara |
Nigerians especially Yorubas and northerners deserve all the hardships they get. |
Tinubu is Nigeria's first Trans President! ![]() |
GO0DHardDick:Bless you! It's quite shocking to see that Nigerian Youths can actually organize themselves to protest. They did not protest when they were at home for almost a year due to ASUU strike. They do not protest lack of power, lack of water, lack of jobs, lack of security. But one musician dies and suddenly see all of them all over country doing protest. Indeed nations get the leaders they deserve |
MrFixIt007:Oba of Benin has spoken regarding this one. He will just be waisting his money if he proceeds with trying to be governor. |
Nothing stops majority Muslim states doing this if they want |
What a joke of a country. There is no budget for petrol subsidy beyond June 2023. So that means the money being spent on Subsidy was not budgeted for that, and so it's funds that were budgeted for other sectors. Eventually more borrowing will be needed to plug the holes and that will put more downward preasure on the Naira. IN some ways this is even WORSE than what Buhari was doing, because at least Buhari budgeted funds for subsidy payment. What I don't understand is why is Nigeria paying for refined fuel? Surly all we should be doing is swap agreements with refiners (Until our local refineries are functional) Basically swap deals for example we send a refiner 2 barrels of crude, they send us 1 barrel of refined petrol. We should not have to be spending scares dollars to buy refined petrol |
How did ugly Obaseki marry such a fine wife? |
Any true Yoruba person should be horrified by what Tinubu is doing. Short term it may seem good, long term they will pay a very bitter price. |
The honest truth is that what Tinubu is doing with all these Yoruba appointments, is the worst in our history. Even Buhari was not as bad, because his appointments were spread across the 3 regions of the North. Tinubu is actually doing long term damage to Yoruba interests. New aliances will soon arise between North and excluded southern regions. The Yoruba will be isolated if care is not taken |
The curse that was placed on the black man, must have been using steroids, because na very strong curse. With all the problems facing the country, this joker thinks its the religious denomination of appointees that's important. What did Muslim leaders achieve for the Muslim North in the last 8 years? Hunger, insecurity, millions of kids out of school.... He should go and face Muslim governors to deal with these issues, and leave Tinubu alone |
It's easy go to farm |
Buhari has left office, so it's no longer fir Mr Garba to try and sell his achievements to us. It's now the turn of impartial historians to review the last 8 years. I feel their judgement will be very harsh |
APC supporting manufacturers should go to CBN with their membership card, for subsidised Forex ![]() |
I can believe this actually. Recall when Tinubu won, his daughter started calling herself first daughter and head of all Nigerian market women. She has since gone quiet. I think Tinubu does not want his family to embarrass him and he has told them to pipe down. Even the first lady is very low key compared to previous holders of that position |
This what happens when you have a president with a working brain. Buhari would have gone there and started talking about when he was a school prefect blah blah. I don't support Tinubu, but I acknowledge the man is a performer. When he does good work, I will praise him |
