This nonsensical open grazing needs to stop. That is the only way there will be peace. Nigeria's population is growing, more land is needed for framing and housing, you can't continue to wander all the place wiht cows, grazing them whereever you want. Countries that make billions a year from beef exports all use ranches, but as usual in Nigeria we must be held back by the stone age North. |
Felix6:Dude I am a true blooded Bini man, the grandson of a titled Chief. What is wrong in demanding MERIT in our state and country? We complain about quota system, how under qualified people keep getting viatal positions simply due to where they come from Are we not seeing the issue in our country today, with a president there becasue it was 'the turn of the Yoruba'? We need to evolve our thinking beyond base sentimetns. I've said it clearly that Asuse looks like the best candidate right now. If that's how things remain, I would have no problem supporing him, not becasue he's from Edo Central, but becasue he's he the best candiate. By the same token I would have no problem supporting a candiate from any other zone, if they appear to be better qualifed than him |
slaawomirr:Iam also Bini, but I dont agree on zoning the governorship. Let all candidates put themselves forward and may the best win. Having said that Asuse looks to be head and shoulders above the other candidates at this point. Let's see how the process unfolds. |
The whole system is rotten to the core. Only a total reset can move the country forward. Right now all we have is a system of criminal musical chairs, were different crooks keep changing places on the criminal high table every 4-8 years. |
Who wants to bet that she will not suddenly collapse during interrogation? |
They should leave Africa alone I beg. This is nothing to do with us. Why will Jordan, Egypt and other Arab nations not take their own people? |
All the Hamas leadership will meet the same fate. They are dead men walking |
Tap0lane:Truly some Nigerians have mental health conditions! What in Lords Name concerns Orient with the discussion on Dangote Refinery? Why do people always seek to deflect away from the issues? It's a new year guys, try and think and act different |
Story Story. They should stop disturbing us with all this propaganda. Anyone can store crude oil in tanks. The only announcement they should make is when production of refined products has commenced, and when said products will be delivered to the market. |
Kokorokomano:We Binis are not like that at all. If you recall Late Tony Annenih brought a Bini man to contest against Comrade for his second term, yet the Binis solidly voted for Comrade over there own, because they could all see comrade was doing a good job. Now a lot of Binis also see that for the sake of fairness it's time it moved to the Central. Ize-Iyamu is yesterday's man, the only way he can get it, is if the APC judicial rigging machine cooks up another strange judgement. Remember these days with APC, election is not just an INEC affair |
This is sooo sad. How people be doing this kind of terrible evil to themselves.? This conflict in Plateau has been going on for years, it's time for the govt to take the bull by the horns and look to finally get to the bottom of this |
You do not need to be prohet, an alfa, a Mallam, or any other kind of seer, to know that NOBODY wil EVER be arrested and tried for this grusome murder. This has been going on for years and it's always the same outcome. High level condemnation. Instructions to 'Fish out the culprits' and then...silence. Nigeria is a big crime scene. |
We as blacks need to understand one simple fact. NOBODY LIKES US! Whites don't like us, Arabs dont' like us, Asians don't like us....The sooner we accept this truth and build up OWN COUNTRIES the better. We should also stop wasting time debating about their wars. If they want to kill themselves anywhere in the world, na their toro be that. We've got our own problems to focus on. |
tobtap:In which way did he not perform? |
Delphi:Sim has read and understood the detailed book 'How to defeat a godfather' by Godwin Obaseki ![]() |
JASONjnr:Very well said. Oshimole seems to be ONLY senator that is taking his oversight role serioulsy. |
Jorussia:Do you think there are not people against Wike in the Presidency? There are many in APC not happy that the juicy FCT ministry went to a southern PDP man. |
December salary paid in time Extra salary to be paid before month end Pensions all paid Edo can never carry last! |
When you take over 1000 people to Dubai for Owambe Jamboree(Sorry COP Conference ) how will the reserves not dwindle? |
Godfathersim can not work in the Niger Delta. Annenih tried to dominate Oshimole, he was humiliated Oshimole tried to dominate Obaseki, he was humiliated Wike is trying to dominate his succor, he to will be humiliated. This nonsense can only work in the SW |
Ladiesdoctor:It has NOTHING to do with being loyal. Did Comrade support his deputy to take over for him? Has any deputy taking over in Lagos? Being Governor and being deputy are very different skillsets. Obaseki knows more about Philip than you and I ever will and he's decided the man is not suitable to be governor. That's enough for me |
Ballzproblem2:Don't mind her. She think she's stil in Naija where she can be forming big lady. UK will level everybody. There's SO MUCH choice nobody has to take any nonsense from anyone. So many Nigerian ladies are single becasue they think with the outdated mentality that men must chase and spend on them. That is not how it works in the UK and the West. A men expects his women to spend on him as well, to pamper him. Sadly many Naija ladies are simply not wired to think like that |
JASONjnr:Fubara, this xmas, go to Benin and spend time with the 'Slayer of godfathers' Godwin Obaseki. He will teach you all you need to know on how to deal with Wike. |
This one that is moaning and waling now, let them give him one special adviser job tomorrow, you will see him signing BATs praises to the high heavens. Nigerians only complain when they are not part of the chopping. ALL of them are the same. PO that claims saint did he not run with Atiku, one of the biggest crooks of all. BAT na crook. Atiku na crook, PO is not a crook but tolerates crooks so in that way, PO is kind of like Buhari. We need a clean swipe of ALL these criminals and locust. |
Nigerians are their own worst enemies. People always want to either cut corners or not do things the correct way. None of those students can say they are not aware of the issues at that university regarding over admission, yet they still decided to go there. What did they expect would happen? |
Obaseki has really tried. Sure not everything in Edo state is 100%, but he has done a lot across many sectors. We can only hope that the next governor keeps up the momentum. Edo state can easily be a self sufficient state, if managed correctly |
Olumide, you have no roots in Edo politically You are a Bini man it's simply not tenable that a Bini man will take over from a Bini Man. I am a Bini man as well, but we must speak the truth. You are better off building your profile in the state and look to run for one the national assembly seats next elections. |
Pakute:We are talking about things that happened 100's of years ago. Nobody is saying that the Binis own Lagos today. Think of it like this, the British founded many nations as part of the British Empire, does that mean Britain owns those places today? Did Britain not found Nigeria? Were not already people living in this land mass called Nigeira? Yet the British took charge and made all the different kingdoms and Emmirates pay homage to them and created a New country 'Nigeria'. Today how many British people own houses in Lagos? We should learn to understand history without emotion. |
I normally do not support zoning, instead I prefer merit, but one must be honest and realistic. Only when all 3 zones have produced a governor can we then hopefully do away with all zoning and let the best candidates emerge from whatever zones. with that in mind the central zone should be allowed to produce the next governor. The Esan nation has lots of eminent sons who can be governor next year. Its the height of selfishness and insensitivity that Philip, who comes from the same village as Oshimole, would want to be governor, when the Esan nation is yet to produce a governor. I am a Bini man and and say we must have fairness in Edo state. Let our Esan brothers and Sisters have they turn. |
Any doctor that trained in a public university should be made to do at least 10 years in Nigeria before they can work abroad. We can't be training doctors for free for US UK and Canada. |
Water Water Water. This the MOST important thing. They need to be drinking at least 2 litres per day. Omega 3 has been shown to help reduce pain crises. This can be obtained either from supplements or from eaten fish Thyocyniate found in yam has also been shown to reduce crises. |
