Nairaland GeneralRe: Roomate-cultural Differences-need Help W/communication by BlackMamba(m): 5:48pm On Feb 03, 2007
She may be prone to the insensitivity of some privileged kids from class conscious African society, which you can relate to the attitude of some white Americans, borne out of racism for the most part. Just tell her how you feel and make your decision on the friendship. And BTW, it's not a Nigerian thing.
FamilyRe: Is Marriage Not Boring? by BlackMamba(m): 5:18pm On Feb 03, 2007
As an artificial union of different human characters, marriage is bound to crack as soon as the these unrelated factors start competing against each other. People just hang on to this marriage contraption to gain societal acceptance, even as it bores their brains out.
SportsRe: African Youth Championship: Congo 2007 by BlackMamba(m): 5:04pm On Feb 03, 2007
Wow. What a relief. The pathetic Naija team would've coned their way through, wining the championship. They're woeful and fortunately there'll be no excuse to that fact.
RomanceRe: Are Medical Doctors Flirts? by BlackMamba(m): 12:36am On Feb 03, 2007
when i had itchy unmentionables  .the doctor was feeling my bosoms in a very unprofessional way angry
A friend of mine once told me that her doctor had a noticeable hard on while examining her.  She was embarrassed by the incident and stopped seeing the amorous doc.

The only experience(s) I can remember using an ATM is "Sorry, you have insufficient funds to complete this transaction." grin grin grin

SportsRe: Mother Of Stabbed Arsenal Fan Cries To Nigerians by BlackMamba(m): 6:44pm On Feb 02, 2007
I wonder if Arsenal even considers the existence of such fans in marketing their product. What a waste of passion.
TravelRe: London Is Not The Paradise I Expected by BlackMamba(m): 3:04pm On Feb 01, 2007
It's crazy reading the views of some of these privileged Naija kids. I think I should point out that those that weren't born with silver spoons, immigrate to escape the shackles of poverty and not to seek some paradise fun spot.
TravelRe: Worst Place You Have Ever Been? by BlackMamba(m): 12:07am On Feb 01, 2007
It's a toss up between New York City and Philly
You must have been overwhelmed by the speed and lights of the Big Apple, coming from Below the Mason-Dixon line, where life is a boring crawl. cool
PoliticsRe: Why We Must Not Vote For The People's Democratic Party (pdp) In Nigeria by BlackMamba(m): 11:56pm On Jan 31, 2007
PDP led government continue to squander and pilfer the nation dry despite all the EFCC hoopla. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6316771.stm
CelebritiesRe: Guess This Celebrity by BlackMamba(m): 11:46pm On Jan 31, 2007
Who is he?
William Gates aka Bill Gates. CEO and Chairman of MicroSoft - basically the world's richest person (by a couple of billion).

What did he do?
Allegedly he ran a stop sign and when he was stopped by the police he was unable to provide the cop with his driver's license.

When?
13th Dec 1977

Charged?
Unknown, but if the cops had any sense of humor at all they should have done him for fashion offense (is that a cravat he's wearing?). Those glasses are surely illegal too?

Sentence?
Unknown, but whatever it was didn't stop him from changing from a computer geek, to a rich computer geek. Subsequently, his company Microsoft has appeared in the US Supreme court on numerous occasions and has recently lost an anti-trust case concerning Microsoft's monopoly of Windows and Internet Explorer.

Are u suggesting Fred Adu is not U 21?
If he's U21, I'm in pre-school. And I'm still waiting for a glimpse of all that talent that's been hyped.

I wish I can just "imagine the worst" on humans that rattle me, but it often gets worse than worst between them and me.

So we backed in huh. What a shame. NFA should withdraw the team and pay the fine to CAF.

The buzz returned to the Garden, even if it's for one night, with Jamal Crowford going for a career high 52. Go Knickerbockers!!!.
SportsRe: Football, B-ball, Baseball > Soccer by BlackMamba(m): 5:04pm On Jan 27, 2007
Soccer easily wins the popularity contest around the world because the awareness is simply more global. Is it more fun and entertaining among fans that understand the rudiments of all the sports equally? Absolutely not. Soccer used to be a religion to me before I got into the other sports. I still love soccer but will not choose a regular premiership game over a Jets, Yankees, or Knicks game in that order.
SportsRe: African Youth Championship: Congo 2007 by BlackMamba(m): 4:29pm On Jan 27, 2007
I'm praying Nigeria do not qualify for the semis backing in if they lose this match. We don't deserve a semi final berth if we lose this match.

Kudos to Nigeria's Jelani Aliyu, lead designer of "Chevy Volt". And he is from Sokoto. I hope this lofty achievement will help dispel widely held stereotypes about Northerners.

SportsRe: The Fickleness of Nigerian Soccer Fans by BlackMamba(m): 1:40am On Jan 23, 2007
They're are not true fans brought up in the traditions of the clubs they're rooting for. If you are born and bred a fan of a club, you live and die with the club. I've not had the opportunity to follow soccer like I used to in my early years, but I remain a fan of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu till death. It's a tradition and way of life.

Is NFL Football in america "Fake" or "set-up"?
huh huh huh

With your name, Clemsonfan, even if you're not a fan of the Tigers football team, I expect you to know better.
SportsRe: Colt Fans by BlackMamba(m): 1:03am On Jan 23, 2007
You can't imagine how excited I am that the Colts found a way to beat the Patriots. For the sake of disclosure, I'm a JETS fan, and it's in our gene to hate New England. The greatest TV shot of the day was the agony in the face of Mr. Hoodie (Belichick) when Brady was intercepted on their final drive.
I'll root for the Colts at the Super Bowl. It's Dungy/Manning time. Lovie Smith won't be so heartbroken if the Bears lose to his mentor.
It's wonderful to see two African American coaches make it to the Super Bowl. I can't wait for the Big Game and of course, the Super Bowl party.
FamilyRe: Like Will Smith, Would You Consider an Open Marriage? by BlackMamba(m): 4:24pm On Jan 22, 2007
It's a well known fact here in Hollywood that both Will & Jada are bi-sexual!.
Enough "amebo-ing" for now, hope this puts the issue to rest once and for all, re Will & Jada.
Rumors it is, or like you rightly pointed out, "amebo-ing".
Without any verifiable facts, these stories are tabloid materials at best.
