n0m0705: It amazes me the way people reason in this part of the world, so those that use android and iphone because they are the in-thing in the western world are not doing follow follow? I don't know maybe u have so much money to throw around,but as for me,I don't bite more than I can chew, I don't see any reason why I should be paying 6k/month for internet browsing on my phone when I av the option of 1400/month. the fact remains that android and iphone data are just too expensive in nigeria. If u are not trying to follow everything that is in vogue in the western world, BB should be the better option for now. Most of the people condemning BB here are only using android and iphone becos they want to follow the trend and not because it is convenient

pls iv got a wee little problem. the time on my pc keeps going back late by about 30 mins thereabout. when i update it online it gets accurate, but the moment i use a browser to open any page it goes back by that exact number of minutes.

i have checked my time zones settings etc and it is ok. Wetin i go do na, as timestamp no dey correct nko?

masterpiecer: hey guys, my laptop won't charge, i have changed the battery and the adapter, but it still don't charge, when pluged, d battery indicator comes up for a few seconds and goes off, it doesn't come on without plugging the adapter to directly to power source, immediately i remove d plug, it goes off. pls anyone with an idea of what the problem could be? (its a toshiba qosmio X305)

So far, I get an error, "Sorry Ubuntu 12.04 has experienced an internal error". Unity crashed because it could not interpret my locale, en_NG. I just included it and specified the en_GB locale settings for en_NG in the python locales file (/usr/lib/python2.7/locale.py), and the error is gone!

Maleeq: Ok, I downloaded it and its so frustrating that I don't have a blank CD to burn the *.iso on! (plus I am tooooooo lazy to step out). And then I did something I've not done before: I tried the "Upgrade" option in the update manager....and after about 3hours...here I am posting from 12.04!

Afraid catch me during the upgrade...cos it just literally froze and didn't move for some minutes! So far, everything looks ok. Would be back with updates, if any!
