PoliticsRe: Raji Fashola Vs Musiliu Obanikoro by Bolarge(m): 9:23am On Apr 04, 2007
Are u guys sure it's safe to go out n' vote this April judging by the spate of pre-election violence going on?
I'm of the impression only thugs n' NURTW (don't think there's any difference btwn the two anyway) are going to vote here in Ibadan and I think even Lagos is only marginally better (if at all).

RomanceRe: How To Approach A Girl On The First Day? by Bolarge(m): 10:53am On Apr 03, 2007
goshen360:
The best way to approach a lady being the first time is very simple depending on where u meet her. However, no matter where u meet a lady and u want to approach her for d first time, the best way is to do WHAT SEEMS DIFFICULT TO OTHER GUYS OR EVEN YOU FOR MEETING THE HER THE FIRST TIME. For instance, if u meet her in a commercial vehicle for the first time, try to rub her hair and tell her you love her hair, i guess from there, you can continue by telling her ur name and that begins d conversation, stay kool
babadee:
@ goshen360,
seems like yu been rolling with too much fishsellers in Badagry otherwise hw can you suggest touching a gals hair in a BUS in LAGOS!!! na wa for you O! i bet you the kind that gets so much slaps it becomes normal. no diss intended

PoliticsRe: Where Are The Obasanjo Fans In The House? by Bolarge(m): 9:51am On Apr 03, 2007
To rule a country such as Nigeria is no mean feat and as much as I cannot term myself as an ardent fan of OBJ,I'm quick to admit he's scored more than a passmark in the last 8 years. For the first time in my life I'm convinced we're back on the path of greatness as a nation. We're not there yet but thank God we're not where we used to be(IBB,Abacha days.Pheeeew!).We're definitely on track.I only pray whoever our next leader is will take us further along the path of progress as a nation.
PoliticsRe: Pdp Govt Is A Failure — Jerry Gana by Bolarge(m): 9:28am On Apr 03, 2007
This Jerry Gana guy is just a bloody ass-licking idiot. After dining with them (PDP) for 7 out of the 8years,does he think he can now stand aloof and exculpate himself from the misrule? The statement credited to him is right. He on the other hand is a wrong soul. He's now political history, let him just shut up and not try canvassing for cheap political relevance/attention.Sounds a lot like sour grapes to me.Nonsense. angry
PoliticsRe: Where Are The Obasanjo Fans In The House? by Bolarge(m): 10:03am On Mar 30, 2007
joshO:
I'm a supporter of OBJ in spite of his inperfections,  I admire him mostly for his
courage and wisdom in engaging the likes of Chukwuma Soludu, Dora Akinluyi, Okonji Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili, El Rufai, Ribadu, Irene Chigbue,  Ernest Ndukwe etc
And this just goes to buttress the fact that being a leader is not about being the smartest. It's about employing the services of the smartest.

GNature:
People were given portfolios based on their competence, not their ethnicity. People like Ezekwesili, Soludo, Okonjo-Iweala were all OBJ's advisers and he was so impressed with their them that he made them ministers.
. . Yes O! Putting round pegs in round holes irrespective of ethnic or any other affiliations.

PoliticsRe: Efcc Should Stay! by Bolarge(m): 3:42pm On Mar 28, 2007
Abi O! Only the thieving powers that be and their relations are jittery about EFCC and Mr Ribadu. I'm sure Ribadu is intelligent enough to know he's stepping on hitherto sacred toes so shldn't expect thunderous ovation from the entire populace especially when the voice of the common man is the unheard.
BigB1 pls answer the question how many innocent people that u know of are in EFCC net?

Even if what obtains now is selective justice it simply implies we've progressed from the crass abysmal total injustice that was hitherto our lot. We're definitely on the right track.

@Afam
That wz so enlightening.Thanks.
Now we know those that love us.

And these are the same people that try to make us believe they are the custodians of decency, decorum, equity, justice and what have you and paint the Saddam Husseins as evil. These records of theirs stink to the high heavens I must say.

Thanks pal.
So any recent scoop on this Toyin guy?
Why won't the British pay reparations to us if they're soo "sorry"? Even Germany showed better remorse for the treatment meted out to the Jews.

PoliticsRe: Is It Ribadu Talking Or: by Bolarge(m): 1:10pm On Mar 28, 2007
I believe Ribadu himself knows that his credibility(and that of his commission as a whole) hangs on his whooping OBJ's ass post May29.Should OBJ fail to install his stooge,Ribadu won't waste the golden opportunity.

My guy, methinks u sound so damn negative that it's only a matter of time before u lose this chic.
Nothing pisses a girl off more than an insecure guy and b'lieve me she's soon goin to get tired of reassuring u of her commitment to u and start listening to the correct rhyme busting wadded fine boiz. Ask any honest girl and they'll tell u the same. The real issue here is that u need to work on your self confidence. Be a man. Peace.

NB:It'll also help to get really close to her family.Once they're into u,that's good insurance.
