Realist5:Thanks for spotting this. Too many fake stories these days |
Contrary to the report, I think Wole Soyinka should know better as he has been on the fore front fighting inequality and injustice. He was sitting on someone’s else seat which he shouldn’t have in the first place. If I was Soyinka I won’t take it dear to heart and even start up a conversation with the young chap because it’s wrong to sit on someone’s else seat. Now this young chap would face unnecessary backlash if only Soyinka had done the right thing. I think it’s quite unfair to the boy who maybe under emotional trauma for doing what is consider civil. People should learn to respect themselves please - elderly or not; famous or not; rich or not. |
Duggedised12:That’s what he did by getting married to some one else. |
This is sad to see and read. There is a lot of poor safety and traffic controls in Nigeria, especially in Lagos. Nigeria is not the only country that utilize trucks for haulage and logistics. However, time over time, we get to see similar accidents and nothing is being done. In other countries, safety conditions of vehicle is very paramount. I will not only hold the government responsible even though they have the highest responsibility to ensure safety. However, Nigerians do not care about each other. There is no duty of care. Why would people ply roads with vehicles in terrible conditions? People go to prison, have the license revoke or cars impounded for violating traffic laws or having unsafe vehicle on public roads. In Nigeria, this is not the case. You see written off vehicles still plying the road and people thanking their God when they escape accidents or traffic safety officers interested in financial gains than the lives of people. If nothing is being done, I’m afraid accidents will keep happening. We cannot wish accidents away in Nigeria if there is no action to correct the mishaps. |
babyfaceafrica:Yea political oblivion for 4 years. He has resulted to step out to remind the electorate that he exists. |
Young man this is my second comment on this. Ask yourself this question. If this girl wasn’t pregnant would you marry her, if the answer is no, don’t do it. Marriage is not an accidental discharge. It’s a life long commitment. You also have to confirm if that baby is yours. |
I wonder why young men don’t clarify their relationship. All you wanted was company and not marriage. Why did you not inform her prior to sleeping with her. How certain are you that the baby is yours? |
FortifiedCity:That’s how star do. They tag along to see what they can benefit. Regina’s mom is now producing movies bankrolled by her in-law. |
kenzosky:We have the natural tendencies as Nigerians to hate our leaders and that’s understandable given the wide spread of poverty and income inequality in the country. However, Obasanjo is one president that made remarkable changes within the 8 years he was president. I am yet to see any Nigerian President that has conceived and implemented policies like Obasanjo. |
This is highly disturbing...... No more shame and dignity in the world! Shame to the seller and the buyer!! Pay your customer for the product you bought and both parties go in peace.........
Sometimes I wonder why it has to denigrate to the level of being naked. I do not want to bash the lady but I feel at least her clothings should be on her prior to chasing for her fee. I don’t know if she considered the consequences and negative opinion afterwards and no amount of money can erase such opinion. To the man, why embark on a journey without the prerequisite materials. That’s nasty. You deserve the treatment. |
The word nigga is a derogatory word |
luxy44:I have told you and would repeat again that you are a horrible disgusting soul roaming the planet. It’s not an insult. Just reiterating what you already know. Try to work on yourself and understand that respect to everyone is important. FYI - I work with one of the biggest financial institution in North America. Prior to that, I was acting group head with the fastest growing bank in Africa. Prior to that, I was team lead of now the biggest Bank in sub-Sahara Africa. I have managed people like you and I know your kind. I’m also giving you a glimpse of my professional life to let you know that they are older people on this forum. Hence, before you respond to comment don’t presume everyone is your age or work mate. Learn to work on yourself and your attitude. You are not better than a taxi driver and the same goes for me. We need them and they need us. We must respect them and respect the service they offer. |
Just because you can afford an Uber ride doesn’t mean you can afford the driver. If you consider yourself too highly and have respect for yourself, it would be better to utilize alternative means of transportation |
luxy44:You are a disgusting human being. This is not an insult. It’s to mirror your attitude so you can work on it. You are not bigger than taxi drivers. They work and earn a living and also contribute to society. |
xjiggy:How is she any better than the Uber driver and what is she being celebrated for? Appearing on an immoral tv show. |
Nigerians are disrespectful people. I know this and I don’t believe both of them. |
These people can lie for attention. It’s a disease. |
Madam Chinasa you have many witness against you including your pastor. Let the man go. If you already have a fiancée, concentrate on that relationship |
Let me say this due to experience. Never allow external parties live in your house. We tolerate our kids when they act up because they are our kids. We tolerate our spouses because of the same reason. We may not tolerate other parties because we may not be emotional attached to them. Having external parties stay with you creates problems even when these parties are not as strong willed as your MIL. In your case you are wise in anticipating these inevitable problems. Some people here have offer good advice such as your husband offering to rent a place for them in Maryland and continue to support them. You may also consider supporting too financially because both of you are in it together. I’m quite disappointed with your husband’s decision and attachment with his family. I agree he feels obligated to his mom but not to a point of being subservient to her. It seems your MIL is running your husband’s affairs and that certainly not good for a man. Your husband needs to start acting as a man with family and not a man in a family. |
Please respect the Legend |
Mbakuthegreat:I agree with you completely. Had my doubts with the story. Bashing men seems to generate online traffic especially from women. |
oluwamile:First I’m skeptical about the thread. Don’t know if it’s true or not. However, some women can be crafty and her aim is to kick the wife out. The wife is already considering that option and if she’s Hell bent on that, I wish her the best. The husband messed up. You don’t bring your shit home. Respect your family. |
BitmapStudios:Have you considered if this story was fake and written because the aim is to generate traffic. |
Three (3) years of constant issues and no remorse or change from her. Chief, your wife has lost interest in you. At this point, initiate a peace process. Talk to her to find out what’s wrong. However, you must begin to prepare for the worse. Her behavior are warning signs that a divorce proceedings maybe initiated. From this day, start to work on yourself, your finance and begin to study on how to protect yourself in the case of a divorce. Use the temporary peace to strategize. You must have an exit strategy in place. Any man married and living in the western world must have an exit strategy in the case of divorce eventualities. I wish you the best and I hope you can sort your marital issues. |
kingkakaone:Ubi is a philanderer based on popular discussion. Have you thought of both of them being in a relationship prior to any financial relationship got involved. |
Cutebabiesmum:Madam - you are a bad wife. I’m not saying this to insult you. Your husband is your family. Whether you divorce him, separate from him or kill him. He would remain a part of your life. Stop divulging family issues with the public, your neighbors and your friends. |
Richy4:If only he has another job or there is one he can readily get |
kennybabs1980:She is an insecure woman - that’s what they do. I would advise you consider looking for another job. Do not test the emotions of a scorned woman. They will go at all length to get what they want and don’t mind burning bridges. I’m shocked she is calling you just to say “Hi”. I don’t think your Boss would like such coziness and it maybe misinterpreted. Get yourself out of that situation. Trust me, that woman would get rid of you either deliberately or otherwise. You are no longer her friend. |
patani:Not a bad idea but still sensitive. The poster is in a serious dilemma and should consider looking for another job. The wife knows the husband is cheating but wants evidence. What she wants to do with it - Only God knows (women and their ridiculous ways). She deliberately courted the poster to divulge secrets and it appears there is no headway. She would dispose of him in order to get someone to do her biddings. Her next move is to begin to poison the husband’s mind and highlight the poster’s mistakes whenever the opportunity comes. I can only tell the poster to get out of that situation because he would be the grass that would get burnt. |
Cutebabiesmum:The real enemy is the SOMEONE who gave you the information. Where was this person when the money changed hands? How did this person draw the conclusion the money was “feeding money”? |
IdreamOfUnicorn:True word |
taiwolomo1:Very possible. Hence, he wasn’t just marrying her for beauty, youth or what she has to offer below. Ned seems like a smarter man in all this and the party actually gaining more from the marriage |
