Or to those who daily says GEJ should do something fast, or to those who says the President is not interested in finding solutions. Lets put ourselves in the Presidents place and offer solutions - which he may not even have considered.Advice to GEJ Any govt that chooses to try to fight a conventional war against a non-conventional enemy is bound to loose. How? Time is on the side of the patience of the smaller, less visible forces of BH terrorist group. To seek out this enemy and their sponsors, and eradicate the threats of BH, the govt needs new weapons to locate and defeat them. Conventional weapons and direct attacks by JTF can keep them hunkered down for some time. But it'll cost the government thousands of times what it costs them to stay hidden. BH group do use some modern technology, and they are not invincible either - there are possible ways of reaching inside their organizations without making noise. Mr. President, don't pin your hopes to high on winning through conventional means or talking it away. Invest more on modern ways of combating terrorists. |

One thing everybody gloss over is this: 1. If IGP was truly aware, did he instruct FL to go ahead and run the show by himself? 2. Based on FL's assertions, Otedola initiated the conversation and made the offer. But why aren't there better evidences to nail Otedola. As far as I'm concerned, FL has nothing to hold against Otedola. Absolutely nothing! 3. FL admit collecting $620k in 3 installments and some gullible people are still looking for video evidences. Why didn't he break the silence when he received the first payment? Why didn't he ask for backup when he's going for the 2nd installment? andyanders: Otedola's statement is just an acting. He can use any so called SSS as he mentioned by buying them over and informing them to act the way he wanted. Now, common sense will tell you that since he said that Farouk came to his house and he had SSS, why did he not ask them to arrest Farouk in person in his house with the marked money? Why did the SSS allow Farouk to go? This is just a story of a sinking man. You shouted on him when he called you and still went ahead to arrange for SSS and did not arrest him since you gave him marked money? Otedola, this is to show that you are a criminal. With the resent mode of ITC, you can use any form of technology to document any film and have it recorded.Common sense should tell you that Otedolas' Lagos residence is not Farouk Lawan's Constituency Office or House of Assembly. @FL collected the bribe! As for the video evidence, I think its best if Otedola keep it to further support his claims. Before Otedola would make such a claim, I think there are more than video evidence. Imagine been caught with serialized dollar. By now, FL should be thinking of where to spend his jail term. FL said there were pressure from marketers to doctor the report, why can't he name them as at that time? I doubt there was any pressure on the committee, instead they were negotiating. |
