Yeah. But this post is about girls. When there's a post about raped boys, we will use the same energy.

You can create a post about raped boys too so we can comment about it.
You should've ignored their diversion tactics. They begin whataboutism to belittle anything to do with females. This is how they sweep rape under the carpet because it could've happened to a male.

On the other post of a boy that was raped, they were all silent and claiming they wished they were him.

Lord save women from such men.

Hmm. A person who by his freewill believes and professes the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds is not a Christian? It is interesting what this new holy spirit that came into being about 100 years ago or so teaches people.
If he's Christian, why is he stating he is Catholic? Should people mention their denominations when asked what religion they are?

Are you Muslim? I'm Sunni.

Are you Christian? I'm Catholic.

Are you Buddhist? I am Mongolian.

Are you Hindi? I'm a Ganeshite.

Why can't Catholics call themselves Christian? Needless division. No other religious sect does that as much as they do. Seen it too many times.

Why doesn't he say he's Christian? What on Earth is "I'm Catholic". Will every Pentecostal begin to state their denomination when asked what their religion is?

Hi Bratislava. I trust you're doing great.

One of the things that has benefited me immensely in my walk with God, is not hinge my relationship with Him on any thing else but on Him and what He does or says.

That's why I'm not moved by what people were doing or saying but God, because allowing men's actions to determine my faith, whether they truly be men of God or not, is like building a house on an unsure foundation which could crash at any moment since men were not infallible.

I feel immense pity for the sheep who have to rely on the kind of leaders we have these days in the church, because they've hardly been exemplary, and these has caused many sheep to go astray.

However I don't think it's always warranted, because why must one allow such ones to determine their standing with God or their obedience of His Word?

I know the leaders ought to be better examples themselves, however i believe it's not the wisest thing to let such ones determine one's spiritual life.

I have tasted and I'm fully convinced that whenever anyone walked in obedience to God's Word, such as being sexually pure, that person would surely not lose his reward for God always remembers and rewards those who keep His Word.

Thanks and God bless.
I am. How do you do?

Thanks for the response.

There are wolves in sheep clothing, quite alright. I guess the whole thing, the main point, as you have strongly pointed out, is to trust in God above all things and that will carry one through. It's not the easiest thing in the world, though.

Too many Christians and up living unfulfilled lives and their only reward is in death. These are some of the mysteries that I don't understand, but questioning the way of things is not the solution. Sometimes.

Thanks.

Sex, the biggest fail of many modern day Christians.

From the top to the bottom, most Christians want to fornicate without strings attached. Even pastors and the married aren't exempt.

Sexual purity is something of a fantasy nowadays.

But what is the benefit? The sexually pure remain unmarried for years, or permanently single, or barren, or tied to devils when they finally do get married. While there's a reward the sexually impure which is the opposite of that, and smooth sailing in life. Afterwards, their sins will be forgiven. So what is the point?

There's little motivation for purity.

Only the OP and her husband know why they must bring their back and forth on this channel. People were right that it would end in money.

The more they post, the more readers begin to lose interest in them.

From past evidence, the woman believes in enduring and advices every other woman to endure and be submissive. In fact, she said there's something that turns a man into a beast. So she alone knows how she turned him into a beast. She's to blame here, going by her analyses of such matters. She knows how to end it.

She needs to dig into the well of her past advice to women in abusive relationships to find her way out of this situation she is now in.

Now, to the real matter:

Most women who come online to get accolades as "wife material" are actually suffering deeply and want other women to join them in the suffering. Suffering and smiling. Same goes for women who believe men aren't rapists, they are the victims of horrible sexual abuse. They have normalized evil and want others to be miserable, too.

Like men who advice women to endure and be submissive are actually beasts who want to see all women in ugly situations. They instead claim it's the other way around. And men who deny rape exists— they are the rapists. Misery loves company.

It's simple, really. Endurance and submission will never make a man good, neither will going to get a job and give him money. A bad person is a bad person, you can't change them.

Professor!!!

I'm sure you really had to go do some research before coming up with this retort! But it's all good, at least I'm rattling your feathers and putting your lazy brains to some good work!

As with all Partnerships, especially the kinda partnership that exists in marriage/relationship, someone still takes the lead, we call him leader and not necessarily boss! Since it's a team, the team leader can assign tasks, doesn't make him a dictator! Doesn't imply that he doesn't do his own share of every other role!

I'm sure when you were in school (that's if you ever had the opportunity to go to school) or at work (that's if you have one) you'll have been assigned at one time or the other to teams for assignments/tasks etc. Y'all on the team are mates, but someone still assigns tasks or duties to you and we call him or her a team leader, ain't it??

But then you're too in a hurry to display your ignorance to the world!

Of course it will be inappropriate for you now, since you've always been a jobless male who has never been so engaged, busy with work or other engagements that could warrant you asking your partner to go attend to other tasks that come up simply because you've got one pencil deek that makes you be called a man in society!

It would be inappropriate since y'all Hypocritical lots only love to wail about women being useless and only able to offer pvssy! But on seeing one who is actually useful now, and can offer so many things, you panic and start hyperventilating because this particular case challenges the status quo you're already used to, you simply can't wrap your head around it!

Well, you do not get to define inappropriate in my life/relationship/marriage or whatever the heck I choose to do!

I chose to happily carry out those tasks, I'm not complaining! Deal with it! These are the same Hypocritical you in society who come here to condemn women for not being able to have brains or solve problems except the man is there, but you have headache now upon hearing there's actually a female somewhere who can carry out tasks that actually improve the quality of life of herself and family, without disturbing anybody!

Can you see that you are part of our problem in this part of the world!! A white chick does it, oh cool! A black woman does it, it's inappropriate! You're already so threatened that this kinda woman would make you feel less like a man, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Only God knows how y'all males reason in this part of the world! Oh I forgot, you must be an Alfa mail grin

Inappropriate kee you there, brainless wimp!

Define men's role, oga professor!

At least, your hypocrisy is glaring for everyone to see here quite apparently!

Since when did it become a man's role for a man to stay on top during sex?? Your sex life must be as boring as hell since y'all only stick to missionary in your relationship (that's if you have one and you're not actually gay or MGTOW).

I know say you don jonze for this your miserable life, since your name sef carry jonzing! Carry your jonzing go front oga, this is Monday morning, I'm already at work!

Keep thinking about me throughout today, since I already live rent free in your head!

Ciao!

Pastors hitting old women with crutches in the name of healing and we're here talking about hate for Pentecostals. . . No one hates you o
Self-righteous. Yet so terribly flawed.

If it comes to your hypocritical points above, we aren't going to talk about what happens in abbeys and Catholic seminary schools and behind confession boxes. That would be trying to get the ostrich to lift its head out of the sand.

Your beloved Catholic Church is already splintered and you're talking about a single church? Catholics even have gay priests. Everyday is a bazaar. Laughable.

You seem to forget that for a lady time is not on her side. If she spends another 3 years trying trying another relationship, when will she be ready for marriage? When will she start having and raising children?

"during my service year I gave my life to Christ, got saved and left the Catholic Church. So I’ve been a Pentecostal Christian since then. He on the other hand is still catholic. I subtly try to nudge him to consider getting saved"
The above quote is an insult to the 1.2billion Catholics of the world. She is telling them that they are not saved. Maybe only her new found sect is saved.

Catholics never claimed to be saints. In fact Catholics acknowledge and confess their sins every week or regularly and beg for forgiveness constantly. It's you Pentecostals ( some will say penterascals) that believes they are holy and every other sect or persons are sinners.

It's you guys that displays anger, hatred and intolerance towards every body else. I drank you guys in the same category as ISIS anx Boko Haram. It's just that you are not violent yet.
In your post you sound largely bigoted and hateful toward Pentecostals. Look at how your post is going. Pot looking for who to call black. Shelve your hate to see reason.

What is the insult in what she said?

Catholics on this thread have said worse in support of their brand of Christianity.

Oversensitive, intolerant and extremist Catholics on this thread will see insults where none exist.

She didn't say Catholics are idol worshippers, or that she can't stand him going to mass, or call all Catholics evil people, the way Catholics are here trying to demonize Pentecostals as if they don't try to convert anyone they want to marry into Catholicism.

It is only on this thread that all Catholics are saints and Pentecostals are devils, according to Catholics.

How Catholics and other anti Pentecostals made it a thread about their self-righteous religion, rather than about her decision in marriage remains a wonder.

If she doesn't want to marry him because he's Catholic, she is well within her rights not to.

Its even like over 70% of those that commented on this thread equate going to church with being born again.

Finally anyone has to right to use whatever criteria to screen a prospective spouse, same way some people will never marry a deeper life or chosen sister is the same way some are weary of marrying catholics, same way peeps castigate chosen people because of their apron and MFM for their prayers .it is what it is .
I thought I was the only person who noticed it.

27 pages and counting from people who aren't objective.

Once she mentioned he was Catholic, it was obvious they wouldn't stick to the facts but instead turn it into an anti Pentecostal thread.

We have people who have concluded she wants her pastor to choose a husband for her, just because she doesn't want to marry a lukewarm Christian, whether Catholic or not. So many people mistake being born again for other things.

Anyone can screen who they will marry by whatever criteria they please. Whether they get married young or late, it's not enough reason to settle for what one can't tolerate. If she knows they will have issues on it, then it means she knows the man better than we do. There is more she has not said about his religious stance, which is giving her doubts.

You have no point my dear. Assuming that he is not a "born again" because he is a Catholic is myopic to say the least. You are obviously supporting her because you share in her believe system too which is very lowly to think Catholics are less of Christian because he is not in her church. For his sanity I really wish he leave that relationship cos this lady will make life difficult for him if he refuses to join her. Let her pastor find a husband for her. I shouldn't be replying you anymore if you have this kind of mentality.
Suddenly because she's Pentecostal it means her pastor must be finding a husband for her. Nonsense. Talk about myopic reasoning, bias and lack of understanding. And you think you've made a point.

What kind of advise does it look she need. Someone who clearly stated he isn't a born again because he is a Catholic does that person need that kind of advise you are presenting. I know this kind of situation as long as that lady don't get him to join her in her so called "born again" mode that man will always feel unwanted. Let her leave him since according to you she knows what she wanted. Am sure here are many of her kind where she has joined or let the new pastor find one for her and let the man find his own type. it's simple.
Most advice here is from people who are angry that she doesn't consider him born again. But she is right in her own belief.

Whether you think the man is unwanted or not is up to the man in question. I know the discrimination I've faced from Catholics, so I'm not going to go into that.

It's not as if Catholics think Pentecostals are Christians the way they are, therefore no need for Catholics to play the victim cards here.

It has nothing to do with pastors or any other allegations here, but simply her conviction as a Pentecostal. She wants a Christian who isn't lukewarm, and the man in question is. Plus he's Catholic, and as Catholics have made me understand, they are different to other Christians. It's obviously an issue for her.

She will make the decision she will live with, not angry guilt tripping from Catholics and others who don't seem to understand her point of view. When did it become a crime for a born again Christian to want to marry a born again Christian? Suddenly people telling her she will be single at 50, just because she wants what she wants. Too much bile and anger and no real points raised. Suddenly spirit filled people are evil etc. It's never an issue if a Sunni wants to marry a Sunni.

The only advice to her is to ignore his religious inclinations since he's supposedly a Christian too. But there is more that she's not telling us about this.

My sister, if you consider yourself a true Christian and his only crime is not being a fanatic christain, don't make a mistake of losing a soul that you will win for God, not through your belief/words but through your Christlike love and life. Surprisely, that man will be much better than those that are like you. In the long run, your (fiance')husband will be convinced that truly you are a child of God by deed and would like to share in it. Many who claimed born again are judgemental and it breeds hate and discontent with people around whom you feel aren't born again. Go and read your Bible especially the new testament, you will see what God said about marriage between a believer and an unbeliever. Let love rule, stop being judgemental, it will destroy you. God came for sinners, not the righteous. This is your work on Earth, to love and win over souls to God, not pushing them away, especially when his only crime is being a Catholic. I was a Catholic but got married to an Anglican and l don't feel less a Christian. God knows his own no matter the denomination you are in, it's only left for you to seek him with all your heart and live like Christ, who never pushed sinners away, he gathered them in his folds and won them over with his love and deeds. Same goes with Paul who converted sinners, love them and see God working in them through your ministrations.

However, If you feel otherwise, then free him than subjecting that man to constant condemnation from you.

Christianity Etc › Re: Make No Mistake! If You're Not Philanthropic, Your Soul Is In Danger Of Hell! by BRATISLAVA:
Very true.

Jesus was a remarkably compassionate man. In fact, the plan of salvation by God is full of compassion.

Giving is a vital part of that. God gave his own Son. His Son shared his blood with those deserving and undeserving.

In fact, the early church had the most converts through giving. They gave and shared what they had among themselves and word spread about them.

Unfortunately, nowadays nobody wants to give to another person. Church is dominated by acquisition of property or things, giving testimonies about the acquisitions, but a deep selfishness at the heart of it.

Even I attended a church in which there were needy people but the people who often came up with these spectacular testimonies only upgraded their friends and traded gifts with their new friends. Their old buddies were abandoned, and some when asked why they don't approach their friend so and so what had "upgraded", they would tell you things that were both surprising and disappointing.

We all need to relearn friendliness and compassion in our day to day lives, starting from in the church. Greed and idolatry of money are the culprits behind selfishness in the church.

I will also like to add some people who only come to church to take advantage of giving people, while they can never give a mite to anyone else. Some of these needy people are terribly greedy, selfish and heartless. From experience, poor people are mean, ingrates, selfish and greedy. They need God more than the ones with the means . Some of their attitudes make one reluctant to give.
