Imagine, somebody was battling with her life, all they could do was just to snap and video, for what and for who.
This just reminded sometime 2 years ago around Oshodi. A 40ft trailer ran into a bike, so the passenger was crushed pieces, the rider was just left on the floor, people were just taken pictures and videos. That day I was on my way to an interview, so when I looked I thought it was just a minor issue not knowing that there was a serious accident.
Lo and behold, when I got there to see situation on ground, I Just removed my shirt and brought the rider by the road side, I used my cloth to cover the wound and he was so unconscious that he started asking me where he was. So calmed him down and called emergency number after like 20 minutes emergency came and evacuated the pieces of the dead one and took the rider to the hospital.
Throughout that day I was not myself, so many questions started pumping in my skull, does it mean that we have lost our consciousness all bcs of Technology, to the extent dat people prefer to take pictures and videos than to save situation.

So let's thank God for sane ones like you. I don't know if the environment of some people also turns them to beasts. Sitting in rural areas and observing how people behave does explain a lot. Well you did well.

That would have been when i was teaching years back. I just came out from the restroom & was walking towards my office. I had to pass some classes with the most senior students in the school with some of the male students crushing on me. I was wearing a flay skirt that my blouse was tucked into that day. Now, when I finished using the toilet, i tried adjusting my clothes by raising the skirt to pull down the blouse well and I mistakenly tucked my skirt in as well. I was just about passing by some classes but God saw my heart (that i would have died and woken up if those students had seen my panties) & sent a female teacher behind me who screamed when she noticed it.

Lol...I got a Job to teach in a school in Aba. It was a blissful Monday that turned sour. I was on my well ironed white short sleeves shirt accompanied with a blue jean.

I thought the class happily till break time. I wanted to urinate and instead of me to tell the old staff there to show me the school's toilet, I just went outside the school gate to find a good spot to pee.

As you well know, Aba is a crowded city, so everywhere was just occupied with houses. There was no bush in sight till I went further down the road.

I got one small bush but there was a gutter in front of it. Instead of me to cross over the gutter, i didn't. Because it looked strong and Sandy on the surface, I just stepped on it and vooooooom! My whole leg entered a pool of thick red mud.

I struggled to remove it and I finally did but yeeeeeeeeh! Not just that my blue jean turned red, I couldn't find my shoe. I had to kneel down on the muddy ground and used my hand to search for my shoe.


I found it but my jean was red, the arms of my white shirt stained red also, my shoe was muddy. I had to use rain water to wash myself. Being that it was my first day at work, I couldn't just leave.

I just folded the arms of my shirt, folded my jean almost to my knee level, tucked in the back of my shirt and headed back to the school. I was really looking funny and it was so embarrassing.

The head teacher later sent for me and told me to dress more decently. I couldn't explain what happened. I just said YES MA! I have never been that embarrassed

The I couldn't find my shoe part, had me rolling. It meant the saga wasn't over.

If only you shunned the village people that were whispering to you, to go outside.
