This is the terrifying moment a boy racer wiped out 11 luxury cars, including a £300k McLaren, £100k Porsche Cayenne and £200k Bentley Bentayga, a Porsche 911, two Audi Q7 model and another Porsche.
The driver of the Audi Q7 SUV was chasing a Porsche moments before losing control outside multi-million pound homes in Moore Street, Chelsea, shortly after midnight.
In total, he caused about £500,000 (₦221m) worth of damage to cars worth £1 million (₦442m), writing three of them off.
A female resident, who rushed outside her home, said:
"I really thought there had been some sort of explosion, like a helicopter coming down".
"The driver got out. There was blood coming from his head and he started to say he was being chased. Having seen some CCTV we now know that was a lie".
A wealthy resident, who lost a blue McLaren, the Porsche Cayenne and the navy blue Bentley Bentayga SUV, said :
The Audi driver has not yet been arrested because he is in hospital. Residents said super cars racing along the streets, especially the Arabs, who visit London with their supercars for summer, has become an increasing problem.
One Nigerian will start calculating the equivalent in Naira and end up saying " imagine, how can a man waste 411million on one car? "If na me I go build 100 duplex, I go do this, I go do that". The oyibo say "thank God we were not hurt". Next insurance will pay. Thunder fire all those our leaders wey take poverty bend people lives for Nigeria.
Cadec007: Since the fallout with Dybala... United has come to realize, South Americans are mercenaries, playing only for the money..... No matter how good they are, i don't think united would be signing any soon
Remember that Messi is a South American too. Barcelona only did him a favour as a child and he has remained there since. I think Neymar should be made to honour his contract to the fullest. Contract rebels like him must be made to pay the price.
Elchicolo: A 35-year old labourer in Awka, Anambra State, has survived a brutal attack by herdsmen in one of the secondary schools in the state.
The victim, Patrick Nnabuchi, who hailed from Eha Amufu in Enugu State, but resides in Awka, was said to be working in the school premises when he was allegedly attacked.
Narrating his ordeal to reporters in Awka, Nnabuchi said he was attacked for challenging the herdsmen against grazing on the vegetable farm in the school.
He said he was taken unawares by the herdsmen who attacked him from behind with a machete tied to a stick.
He said: “I was engaged by the school management to carry out some construction work in the school and was doing the work when the incident took place.
“When I saw the cows trespassing on the farm and grazing on people’s farmland, I asked them to pursue them from grazing on the vegetables.
“It was not long after I walked away from the scene when one of them ran after me and hit me on the head from behind.
“Before a security man in the school and one other person could rush to the scene, the attackers had jumped into the erosion site within the area.”
Nnabuchi said he was unable to run after his attacker because he was unconscious for a while, adding that they disappeared through the gully erosion near the school before some people came to his rescue and later rushed him to a nearby hospital where he spent three days receiving medical attention.
The state police public relations officer, PPRO, Mr. Haruna Mohammed, however, said no such case was reported to the command.
The victim’s landlord, Mr. Nwama Ibe, while condemning the action, said the issue of Fulani herdsmen had become worrisome one in the state.
According to him, there was need to re-enact the 1960 anti animal roaming law, which operated in the defunct Eastern Region to control the activities of the menacing herdsmen in the region.
“The Southeast governors should enforce the law in the zone, to avoid such clashes,” he further said.
MatthAnn: Hmm No lecturer can try that with me. Whenever I'm going to any lecturer's office I'm carrying a recorder. Cause anyfing said or done will surely be used in the court of law.
And you think it is by gra gra abi? Just pray that you do not become a prey or as they say "bushmeat".
Information reaching the POLITICS NIGERIA newsdesk this morning reveals that some officers of the Nigerian Police Force fired teargas at #RevolutionNow Protesters in Lagos.
The protesters had converged in front of Yaba Stadium to protest against the growing spate of insecurity and other issues in the country when the policemen struck. It will be recalled that the convener of the Protest, Omoyele Sowore has since been arrested by the Department of State Security, DSS.
From 2009 till date the police and army could not deal with boko haram. Nowadays the army barracks have become playground for boko haram fighters while the army has always run away. Their excuse as always "superior weapons". So far the police has not achieved anything against herdsmen. We hear that policemen FLEE on sighting herdsmen. Same story gradually going about IMN.
Now look at them pursuing armless men and women.
All those undeclared terrorist groups are just a very small fraction of the population of Nigeria. What will happen in the event that the people join in force and have a popular revolution?
Ultimatezlant: I guess this absolves him of the looting spree he has been on since.
Until Africans start separating religion and sentiment from leadership and competence we would continue to be this way
How can you separate religion from leadership? Even the Americans (masters of democracy) tell us that their country is built on their belief and dependence on God. The Americans have a national thanksgiving day. The biggest economies in the world are deeply religious.
You are either born a leader or you learn leadership skills. Even a born leader must learn how to apply leadership skills appropriately.
The problem of our countty is one word - CORRUPTION. It has driven into the blood of our people. This country was not this bad in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. Some evil men got into power and negatively afflicted our value system. Leaders are mostly there on self aggrandisement missions. Sentiments come in when they introduce their croonies who are expected to help them perpetrate their crimes.
Look at the state of infrastructures. Ambode spent 4 years in Lagos and was only able to build parks and cinema houses. He left Lagos dirtier than he met it and the road infrastructure was worse than he met it. Have you been informed of how much he got as severance package? Look at the other states. Some people used Boko Haram as a weapon against Yaradua and Jonathan. They used it to make billions of naira for themselves. Today we can see the result. This present government cannot find a clue against Boko Haram.
Soludo tried to re-denominate the naira in 2006 under Obasanjo but members of the then national assembly blocked it. You know why? Most of them had illegal sums stashed away that could not find their ways into the banks. They killed that move that would have made our economy better.
Eliminate corruption in this country and see a massive country.
donlemson: Former National Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega has joined the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
In a statement signed by the PRP National Publicity Secretary , Abdul Gombe, says Professor Jega is to chair the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) analysis Committee of the party in order to reposition it for more nationalistic outlook ahead of 2023 general elections.
According to the Statement ,the SWOT analysis Committee will critically examine the strength of PRP ,its weakness and the opportunities available to the party as well as threats to it’s existence and well-being.
It further said, “The PRP at its 62nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on June 22nd in Kaduna decided to set up a 3 (three) Committees to review the performance of the Party in the 2019 General Election with with a view to repositioning the Party for better performance in facing new challenges of Nigerian politics .
“On the basis of a critical analysis of these ,the Committee made up of some of the best intellectuals in Nigeria will recommend to the Party , strategies to adopt for its survival and growth.
“The three Committee are; The SWOT Analysis Committee ; Mobilisation Committee , Finance and Funding Committee Membership and mobilisation committee to be chaired by a person who has been in the PRP for 41 years is to examine and advise the party on how best to grow its membership using the best Ava methods bearing in current voters demography in Nigeria.
Other persons that made up the three Committees include, publisher and chairman of the Trust newspapers, Malam Kabiru A. Yusuf, Prof. Momodu Kashim Momodu, Dr. George Kwanashie, Comrade Ayo Sando, Dr. Obi Osisiogwu, and Prof. Nathaniel Abraham.
So who is this supposed to deceive? Oh ok I remember only one name targetted for this deceit - Goodluck Jonathan. Jega was, is and will be an ... man. He played his game well while Jonathan lived in the fools paradise.
Surely Jega could not have directly enterred his name into the APC register because we all know the story. But Jega has to know that a man must be a man. Call a spade a spade. Nobody will kill you over what we already know. He has always been a politician and will remain so.
His next step is calculated. To hold a political office on the platform of a party that he played an active part in consciously or unconsciously. That way he can get his reward.
Optional09: Information reaching me tonight that the Nigerians DSS invaded Omoyele Sowore apartment in Ikeja and whisk him away to their office in Magodo in Ikeja Lagos.
Fellow Nigerians, We must immediately start the Revolution with the demand of Omoyele’s release if we keep quiet we will all be killed one by one regardless of your affiliations or your smartness. We should all resist oppression in the interest of the next generation. Let’s demand Omoyele’s release now! #RevolutionNow
Revolution ko revival ni. Na today? Let him gan gan start the revolution. When e happen he will use the bush path to Cotonou enroute to America. Abeg make I hear word.
MGab25: A dancing 26-year-old Nigerian cleaner identified as Lucky Etinosa Aivinhenyor, stole hearts on the internet after his video went viral.
The video was shared on Twitter by a road user in Abu Dhabi and it already has over 13,000 likes and 4,000 retweets. The Edo-born cleaner has only been in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for four months and was vibing to Burna Boy’s music when he was filmed unknowingly.
“Back home in Nigeria it’s very difficult. My father died when I was 3 years old, so I had to work hard to support my family,” said Lucky who is single and the second youngest of eight children.
“Back home job opportunities are very few and it is difficult to find work, so I just feel fortunate to be working for my family.
“I’ve only been in the UAE four months but I’m so excited to be at work that I just dance. I’m always happy whatever I do.
“Anything you do, you have to give thanks,” said the street cleaner who gets two Fridays off a month and earns under Dh1,500.
“I wasn’t planning to do this work, my experience is in computers, but I’m sincerely happy in any work I do. I enjoy living in the UAE and being here never makes me feel bad. It’s much better here than where I come from.”
On his newfound fame, the cleaner employed by the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Centre Tadweer told Gulf News;
: “I’ve got no choice but to be happy and continue praying for the favour of God. If he wants to favour me he will and with this I believe he has favoured me.
“I was so surprised to see it went viral, a lot of people contacted me to say I have good vibes and rhythm, and I’m delighted by all the comments. My family haven’t seen it yet but I’m sure they will be proud.”
This is the disgusting and disgraceful level our country has found itself. With this consistent poor leadership since the Shagari government. It was made worse by Babangida and the googled man who weekly raided the central bank using the then governor of the bank. Here we are today with a youth dancing in the street of a country that faced its own development plans seriously in the 80s. Lawma staff are highly underpaid and ill treated. With huge potentials in Nigeria D1,500 may not be more that 100K Nigeria and yet the young man is jumping there. For all we know Nigeria may have more oil reserves than the UAE. Theirs is used to develop infrstructure and human capacity. Our wealth is shamelessly embezzled by a few individuals daily. The recovered sums are embezzled again by another few who find themselves in the position at that time.
Who will rescue Nigeria from this socio-economic poverty? It gets worse daily. No food, no job, no security, no happiness, no accomodation. When Buhari won it was sai baba everywhere but mostly the northerners were rejoincing over the opportunity to make this country their own. Here we are today with the Fulanis striving hard the overrun the entire nation. Guns everywhere in the hands of the fulanis while security is used to silence the rest unarmed people. The way it is going will Nigerians not rise up one day to take their country back in the face of this relentless oppression?
A misconception for “spirit husband” __________________________________ . SCENARIO X An X-Rated Visit By A “Spirit Husband” —————————————————— He was sleeping, and deep throaty moans infiltrated into his ears, thence finding its way into his brain, exciting his nucleus acumbens– the pleasure centre of the brain. It must be a dream, he thought. However, two things made him think better of it. First; something kept hitting his buttocks, perhaps a leg , and the bed was quaking violently. Secondly, the hard-on threatening to tear his boxers was sure as real as day and night. Then he opened his eyes and turned to see his wife in some frenzy of ethereal proportion with guttural sounds coming form her mouth.
She was gyrating and thrusting her hips forwards rhythmically, like someone was on top of her ministering to her nether regions. Her eyes were rolled back into her head, while the hands were clutching on the bed sheet. Totally unaware of him staring at her mouth agape with his jaws on the floor, she raised her nightie and her hands disappeared beneath them, away from his field of vision. A few thrusts and she squirmed and went limp. She was snoring before she even hit the bed.
All the while it felt as if there was a presence there with them in the room. He could feel ominous chills in his bone.
In the morning when she woke up, she had no memory of any of it. Absolutely none! She was more confused than he was, and genuinely so; and he had every reason to believe her. He was never a believer of all that “spiritual husband” BS. However, this– this he couldn’t explain. ________________________________________ DISCUSSION ——————————————————————– The religious, and the superstitious, would be quick to attribute the incident described in the above scenario to a spiritual influence. However, fact is that the “unfortunate victim” is suffering from a sleep disorder called SEXSOMNIA. Sexsomnia is a type of PARASOMNIA, just like sleepwalking, confusional arousal, night terrors, etc. Parasomnias are undesirable physical events [such as abnormal movements and behaviors], or experiences [like emotions, perceptions and dreams], that occur in various stages of sleep.
The behaviours may appear well thought out, purposeful and carefully planned, following a coordinated pattern as may be seen in somnambulism [sleepwalking]; on the other hand it may manifest as a group of disjointed, purposeless movements and behaviours.
Whichever is the case, the sufferers usually are unaware of themselves, and their environment, during the process; are not easily roused [as they are actually in DEEP SLEEP]; and would not have any memory of the incident afterwards. They are more like AUTOMATIONS controlled by parts of the brain that function remote from consciousness.
In SEXSOMNIAS, parasomnia manifests as indulgence in sexual activities during sleep. It may be in the form of hip thrusting, moaning as if having an orgasm, masturbation, and in extreme cases it may manifest as sexual assault, and even rape proper. Whichever is the case, it is important to note that the sufferer is not responsible for his/her actions. It isn’t premeditated, and how it manifests doesn’t necessarily depend on the person’s real life fantasies and mental preoccupation prior to sleep. In an episode of the popular TV Series– Doctor House, a woman who claims not to be having sex, is manifesting symptoms of pregnancy. A pregnancy test confirms she’s pregnant, and a DNA test shows the baby belongs to her ex, who she’d broken up with some 6 month before, who however lives im the same building with her, 2 floors below hers. Investigation later shows that almost every night, she sleepwalks to the guy’s room, wakes him up, starts romancing him, and they end up having sex.
However, the next day she seems to have no memory of it, as she doesn’t even as much as respond to the guy’s greetings, let alone engage him in a conversation– leaving him bewildered as to why she keeps coming back if she still hates that much. The above based-on-a-true-life story, which was re-enacted in Grey’s Anatomy, may help us understand not just sexsomnias, but also parasomnias as a whole. For instance, there’s a celebrated case of sleep-walking, in which the somnabulist, went to an airport, went through the motions of booking a flight, waiting in the departure lounge, boarding, and then flying to a destination–all while still sleeping!
Finally; it is NOT SPIRITUAL, people! If it were, it wouldn’t be treatable with drugs. And oh, by “drugs” I didn’t mean “otumokpo” from Baba Ijebu; I meant pharmaceutical drugs like the Benzodiazepines [eg Clonazepam]. Evidence of this abound in literature.
Rubbish. What you do not know anything about do not venture into it. Do not bring ascribe scientific descriptions into issues that have deep spiritual roots. I have seen with my two eyes several cases in broad day light and not in the sleeping mode or dream or whatever you may choose to call it. Those who are blinded are the scientists who keep trying to tell us that Africa is still jn the dark age when we see and clearly know that the exploitation of Africans by the so called civilised nations continues unabated.

Just like that? Infact beheading must take place, especially using the power of Sambisa forest when the man take come back.
gottliebglobal: I appreciate your concern and observation. The area topography puts us at an advantage. I see you are a trainer in this field. Thank you so much for your input.
I experienced it first hand brother and since then in 2007 I have been very careful with earthen ponds. I lost over 20,000 grow outs at 4 months. The risk is far lesser and none at all during the months running from November to May. Once the months of July to October set in the risk of flooding is exceedingly high. You take all the safety measures but flooding from the rivers cannot be controlled. What do you do when the rains fall non stop for 7 days? Earthen ponds are the best for grow outs but safety wise concrete ponds and the others are far safer.
akinblog: Police on Monday night shot dead two suspected robbers in Kilimani area after they robbed a Nigerian national. The victim, Taiwo Gbenga, reported to Kileleshwa Police Station that he had been robbed by four armed men who sped off in a white saloon car registration number KCE 567 B.

Truly very lucky. The Nigerian too was carrying too many expensive items on him. We need to be very cautious as the streets all over the world are full of vicious men and women. Nigerians are targets everywhere.

obembet: Ronaldo expressed his opinion on new season's Champions League and how did he think of Barcelona after receiving the MARCA Legend award
How about Barca? I think they are very strong. It has been reinforced very well with De Jong, Griezmann, like last year with Coutinho, Dembelé ... They are always one of the best teams in the world.
The same as Madrid, with Hazard, Jovic, Mendy ... and Juve too ...
On Champions League This year is Juventus'? It is always the year of Juventus, of Madrid, of Barça, in which a competition like the Champions League only have one winner.
I give you the example of Barcelona: So much money has invested the last five years in players but has not won the Champions League. That is not how it works.
Juve has been reinforced very well and it is a team that will fight to win, as always, but it will depend on many factors: the crosses, the groups, the moment, the injuries, the luck ... But as I said there is no such thing is more fascinating than winning the Champions League.
Juve will win it, if it is not this year, hopefully, it will be in the next two years by the way they work, how they are considering it. It has all the ingredients to be able to win it.
arinze198: A 34-year old lady, Ayomide Oyewole, has landed in trouble after she burgled a shop at a popular market in Lagos, stole dried snake and was caught.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at the popular Igando Market in Alimosho Local Government area of Lagos.
The Police at Igando Division alleged that the suspect, Ayomide, broke into the shop at night, stole the dried snake and fish belonging to one Mrs. Morenike Taiwo worth over N360,000 including other items.
However, while she was escaping, she was caught by security men, who eventually handed her over to the Police for prosecution. The items she allegedly stole were recovered from her as exhibits for prosecution but later released to the owner on bond.
After interrogation, the Police found her culpable and she was then charged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court, where she pleaded not guilty.
